Wish for the rain? Then deal with the mud too.
Guys, in moments such this we are living, with a crisis just ahead of all of us, do you stop gambling?

In my case I have to admit that I will stop for a while.
When I see some crisis or a decrease of my salary (I have my own business), I immediately cut some stuff and gamble are one of the first I stop, like going out and trips too

So, what's your opinion?

There is more alternative to that, I could say not when my thing requires no physical contact to such places. What I mean if you could play, gamble online then there is no problem that needs to be solved as the virus doesn't spread digitally lol. Well in different crisis such as personals; financially like that then may be a total halt in such activities that consumes money should be done in the mean time to recover. Anything else beside that doesn't bother me to stop 'cause based on what I have mentioned there are more alternatives to that 'cause if it doesn't have or someone doesn't knew then he/she should be stop for a while on not to be a source on spreading the virus in the area.

In my case, since me engaging in gambling related activities has less to do with profiting than having fun. I won't stop just because of some crisis like what we're experiencing. In the case of the Corona virus, a solution involving me restricting myself from physical casinos can be deployed to avoid coming in contact with affected persons.

Cryptocurrency, smartphone and the internet has made it so easy that you can gamble without having to leave the comfort of your bed therefore gambling through online casinos can be used to replace physical casinos to avoid coming in contact with the virus.

That's right, we can still have fun despite of the pandemic that is happening globally, no threat on corona virus when we are just gambling online, and that is the beauty of crypto gambling. Maybe there's a problem with our income as it affects the economy but we have the government to aid us in case of full lock down, so while we are at home, we can eliminate being bored because we have crypto casinos to be busy with playing.

I will do the same if I see a cut in my salary I will also cut my time and money I spend in gambling and if the crisis is much worse than the salary cut I'll definitely stop gambling until I fully recover from the crisis I'm facing, in life we must know what are our main priorities and gambling is not one of my priority.
Actually it is the reality that once we are into some sort of trouble or crisis we often quit our addictions and hobbies for sometime. In my case I never get into such crisis but once I was in a tough situation a few years back when I had recently moved to a new place and I was having issues with the rent and everything because my salary was not too thick and I remember how I stopped all my hobbies and in fact most of the unwanted activities I used to do and instead I used to utilize that time doing mini-tasks for people and earn some extra money to support myself.

So I would say that once anyone of us falls in any sort of trouble we usually forget our addictions and focus on the issue and anyone is still unable to do so, he is into serious problem gambling.

I don't stop gambling maybe i just limit on the amount on what i gamble, especially when there is a financial problem in our family, or like now there is covid spreading in our country and we are in need of food supply and groceries so we need to gather them. If i know if there is a problem or crisis happening i set aside my gambling or maybe stop it for a while, i think gambling keeps us to gamble more because we are hoping we can double our money in our hands and that mindset keeps us from gambling. But if you can still gamble if there is a crisis that's definitely addiction that needs to be rehabilitated.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree  Cheesy
Not Everyone, some people are beyond the curve and even in a period of crisis they are not affected

We don't have to enter on a deep talk here but there's people who enjoy this time of crisis buying cheap stuff, cheap investments or investing in weak currencies

Buying assets or stocks on crisis market is normal. Not normal (and very rare) to keep throw out money to nothing (like gambling, let's be honest). And in crisis most people just follow their the instinct of self-preservation and just stop doing like that.

It's not a good time to gamble because at this we don't know what will happen next. It's all about safety and well being first. This is exactly what many people will do and gambling company won't make much profit this time as well as other companies.

You are well done. You deliberately made a decision to refuse games and risks including, under the condition of a crisis.
The advantage is that you made such a decision in advance, which will allow you to save a huge part of your capital while not getting depressed in unpleasant circumstances.

Right now I'm not playing. Gambling is something I do for fun, losing money from time to time isn't affecting my personal life much. Now everything is different, because the whole financial world became fragile, it's better now to keep your money in your pocket, or buy some food supplies, instead of using it just to get entertained.

Yes. I also stop playing gambling in a time of crisis like these days that i should be preparing and buying the things that my family need for these upcoming community quarantine here in our country due to the COVID-19, so i should step aside playing gambling for a while and take care of my family first for our own safety.

Yeah, I can stop.

It is not like that I am addicted to gambling and I can prioritize my expenses to what I need and what I should save. Another thing is that I just use some of my cryptocurrencies to gamble, as I said I prioritize other important or essential things. It is really important for us to able to stop since that will be the identification that we are not addicted to gambling and we are aware of what to prioritize.

I dont really stop but I minimize the time spent in gambling. Because in times when there's a crisis we need to prioritize the much more important things like family, financial expenses and source of income. But its not necessary to totally stop and I think it depends on each of us  since we have different views regarding this. Gambling is my way to have fun and not treating it to earn hence its like a hobby and im only spending a spare money. If I have nothing then I will use the free satoshis of the site where I usually play.

I would definitely stop because right now we can't go outside without any good reason plus you might as well save the money that you could've spent in gambling if you were to stop right now. This time of crisis really tooks a turn for worse to a lot of people especially in the current market plummet. Crisis really destroys the good times
The money that you have which intentionally for gambling can be keep and be added to your emergency funds. The crisis might hit you financially
so better to make sure that you have extra money in case that your budget for the period of time got empty.
Extra money gives you extra time to think for possible opportunities finding sources of money.

Actually, I don't even play gambling often, I am playing once a week, I am not really into gambling, but I think those who play gambling often will limit themselves especially those real gambling or what we called casino gambling to avoid contact from other person, virus is everywhere and for us to prevent that thing we should stay at home, do not go outside if it is not needed, especially in casino game where there are so many people, casino gambling is very crowded because there are a lot of gamblers who like to play more in real life than online, but I recommend that with this kind of virus in our country.

It is better if we play online compared to real life casino to protect ourselves from virus, we can still bet online but the thrill is not there because it is really different to play in that kind of medium especially if you want interaction while playing that you can have in real life.

With the champions and europa league playoff matches going on until next week I probably won't stop since these are only few of the events I like to follow and there's a major tournament during the weekends. I could stop for a week if I prefer doing so but when you have these good competitive matches happening once or twice a month it's hard to just miss out on.

No, to be honest, I can't. Despite the problem I am facing, despite the crisis I am still gambling. It is hard to stop, I can limit those times that I am gambling but I can't really stop it. Being said, I know my priorities; I know what should I do but I just can't get that out of my system, it is just there. It is a problem of mine but I can say that I can stop, limiting myself is just the start of it.

Winding down.
When there is a crisis we have to stick with our priority and that should not be gambling.

The right thing is to gamble what you can afford only, so even if you are in financial crisis and you feel you have a spare money to gamble, you can still enjoy. Online gambling is not going into a physical casino where you need to risk hundreds or thousands of dollars, in online you can already enjoy even with a very little amount of money, that's why I fall into crypto online gambling.

That is a good choice because then, at least you still have good emotional control in the midst of the financial chaos that is happening in your life. If you continue to gamble in the midst of financial pressures, the results will be greater for the losers and we must realize that, if you continue to gamble amid the pressures that occur until you get good results at least it is a lucky factor and not everyone will get the same luck. So taking a break from gambling when there is financial pressure is the best idea.

Good decision, I think. Sure, I also will do the same way as you. Playing gambling is only for extra money, so if you have limited money, just leave it temporarily. Then, play again once you have already extra money. In a crisis, it is stupid to force playing gambling and risks your life by spending money on a non-urgent matter.
