Guys, in moments such this we are living, with a crisis just ahead of all of us, do you stop gambling?

In my case I have to admit that I will stop for a while.
When I see some crisis or a decrease of my salary (I have my own business), I immediately cut some stuff and gamble are one of the first I stop, like going out and trips too

So, what's your opinion?

I think this is normal and part of life
In any situation we find ourselves we must survive, but for me. Just as u do u reduce my gambling budget in the face of an emergency situation.

So it's best to have to gambling budget, with which you are able to ascertain if you are in loss or profit

Even it is crisis time or not, I choose to stop gambling for some reasons.

One is that, gambling isn't my main priority when it comes to my expenses. Gambling is part of my expenses if I'm gambling and there are better things that I can put my money with instead of gambling so I choose to stop it. Second is I don't win in gambling. Yes there are times that I win but after few days, they will get it back from me Cheesy. Third is lack of funds also.

Anyway, for other gamblers out there maybe they will just gamble if crisis is coming because they already set a budget that is intended for gambling only and they can't live without gambling so they will choose to gamble.

Gambling has been part of my day to day activity, and my job is online particularly in the crypto space so there's no way I would stop gambling although if time comes that I won't be earning a good amount of money. I understand that there is a crisis, but spending money in gambling is not big enough for me that it would affect the budge for my needs.

I am not stopping anytime, besides I am not gambling for a living or I am not a professional gambler, with crypto gambling even a small amount of money it could already give us some real entertainment, so probably I'll reduce the amount I'll risk in gambling but will not definitely stop.

Guys, in moments such this we are living, with a crisis just ahead of all of us, do you stop gambling?

So, what's your opinion?
There is no reason to gamble while in crisis IMO thus my answer is yes. Gambling shouldn't be prioritized while in crisis since at this moment you should manage to always prioritize your needs and what is needed to be done in which gamble shouldn't be included as it can make you worsen your situation in this kind of difficult situation.
and this is the practical ways of engaging life when we are also in gambling,we must set our priorities and make assurance of them to have foods in table and not you sitting int able to gamble.
I hate to admit it but on the time in which I am in a crisis I have already stopped on gambling or playing and focus on the problem that I have especially that the problem itself is because of the money so I have been able to stop playing and gambling just to secured the money that I have been getting from my job as a salary or fruit of my hardwork in order to sustain the needs of my problem on money.
why you hate to admit it?you must be proud that you prioritize problem like crisis than gambling and this is what a good person will do as i believe gamblers in bright mind will do as well.

you stop gamble but your going for a trip instead ? trip as in travelling ?idk if what i heard is corect but that is also costy and can be costy than gambling because of the fair when you commute or gas when your on wheels , add in other expense too .

for me i also do stop if there is a financial problem but i try to gamble with tiny amounts sometimes just to feed my gambling apetite because i confess that im a slight addicted too now on gambling .  luckily it never leads to busting my own personal salary money  that is intended for more important use on the house

I think you got it wrong or explained it in a not very clear way, I'm sorry.
I said I stop betting and I also stop traveling or going out, these are the first things I stop when I have to save money

I agree with your choice. Gambling is not the priority for me. If the resources available are only enough for the food and other basic needs of the family, I would let go of gambling readily. I won't have to make a fuss about it. The truth is that I only gamble sometimes. I am not addicted to it that I cannot let it go if need be.

Yes of course it is better to conserve our money and spend it on more important things on time of crisis,
But unless you are loaded and doesn't care about the money at all then I guess you wouldn't stop gambling even on those times.

Given that only we earn limited money it is more so important for us to ensure we are utilize for the best of our times considering the crisis time which is existing or foresee in the coming time. People are unaware as what could happen and how markets may tumble and existing job or business how it can be effected so wasting money now would be a dangerous thing to do unless people are wealthy and can manage to lose money and still they would be fine in coming time.

I confess that I don't see why people who play online would stop playing because of this crisis? So far as I know the games of soccer, basketball, tennis, boxing, handball and other sports are being played even though in some cases they postpone some games, then how this crisis would affect people who play online to the point where they stop playing online ? One thing to remember:

there are many football leagues, there are many sports, so people will always have things to bet even if some games are postponed. it will not be affected to the point of preventing people from playing online

I think this is true for those gamblers who are regular customers of offline casinos. But for those who are into online gambling, I don't think they will stop. And on my end, since I am a small timer gambler and just using extra money, I think will still play every once in a while. But will make sure that it will not affect my financial expenditures as with this kind of crisis comes with higher price of necessities and other things.

If one person gambles regularly regardless of how small or big the capital is, I don't think there will be an economic crisis that would stop them from gambling. So, I believe what you said is true, gambling once in a while isn't totally stopping.
The only thing I could think of for a regular gambler to totally stop gambling, is if he got seriously inflicted with a life threatening health issues such as stroke, that will deprive him from going to his gambling habits. But, an economic crisis won't really stop some of the gamblers.

You gambled regularly with your salary?
Well, you shouldn't have gambled with what you can't afford to lose, in my opinion. I will probably invest more in things that can sustain me during a crisis. If you plan things out somewhere, you wouldn't be too worried like others. I think people should be invest more in safe/important things more, and less on risky stuff. Things like food/fruits/vegs, decentralized crypto, small water filters, torch/matches/lighter, survival information, etc

Those points that you had mentioned are not all investments but rather a need which is crucial for a human being need for him to live.
When we do see its already crisis then why would consider on continuing on playing if you do know that you can loss money?
Unless if these amounts are really intended or solely be used on gambling and wont mind if you lost it as long you do have spare
or savings which prioritizes your needs and other stuffs. It isnt necessarily to stop gambling but you should know on how to control
your funds if you dont like to have that hardship state when it comes to finances.

I will stop gambling when the crisis is happening because I don't want to do that while I believe that everyone will save their lives first and use the money to prepare to survive. Maybe I will leave gambling for a long time until the crisis ends, and I will try to survive as other people do, and if I can, I will not use the money to come back to the gambling games before I can fill my daily needs.

I already experienced this kind mate when i become addicted in gambling and crisis comes to my life and family.

but eventhough  I am in trouble?still i continue gambling for a while before my final decision of stopping to gamble.
so basically this is mandatory for every gambler but Only if we can do such move when addiction is still indeed.

stop gambling to make money, and just gamble to make life to have happiness Guys.

That's right if you think you can't afford to spend in gambling it's better to stop for a while. For me, that's why I'm rare to gamble because there is always a shortage of my salary. I can't spare the fund in gambling because I know I have my priorities than gambling. So, that's a good and wise decision if you are going to stop for a while.

You can always back in gambling anytime you want at your convenient time and with your extra money without thinking about other problems. Because not all the time we had always money, there will time we encounter an economic crisis and we should be ready if we have our own personal savings.

There are indeed more important things in our lives than gambling and making prioritization is a key importance for us to balance what decisions to make. When gambling, we should always look far ahead in the future or our next actions, not just thinking about what will happen in the present but anticipating the possible events that might occur to avoid risk and possible failures. When we think about it, life is not just about having fun like when we gamble but, taking responsibility to things in our personal being.
