I guess you mean't at the time of financial crisis, right? Well I guess most of the people who aren't addicted to gambling stops gambling for a while when they are facing financial difficulties. That is actually the most sensible thing to do. But, I guess those who are addicted to gambling, they end up using all they have to gamble. They start taking loans from people, uses other peoples money by lying to them to gamble. They end up making everything worse and starts to destroy their life beyond recovery.

I also run my own business and I'm a naturally money-conscious person, so I do stop or limit my gambling when I notice things are moving more slowly than usual or when I just see general red flags coming up ahead. While I enjoy gambling a ton and I love to support the sites around here, there's a point where I consider my own wellbeing more important, though I always like to have some fun no matter the situation.

It depends on your personal situation in the end. If you're not super financially secure then stopping gambling is a very valid thing to do.

Guys, in moments such this we are living, with a crisis just ahead of all of us, do you stop gambling?
Crisis has a broad meaning in life, in this case in general, something or event may affect every individual or community in general, the economy, food, etc.

If you play gambling to risk money from your salary to expect wealth and victory from gambling results, a good step of course you have to stop in the world of gambling is dangerous for yourself.

However, gambling is only for entertainment and pleasure, without having to bet the money from the salary, just relax don't need to stop, the point is: the current global economic crisis there is no gambling addict who is one hundred percent to think of quitting gambling, I see no impact entirely on gambling addicts only some individuals.

This is very individual point of view.
When crisis or recession is approaching many have the attitude not to spend more as it is necessary and trying to save as much as possible for the rainy days.
Other think that exactly gambling might be the opportunity to make some money for the crisis time and they don't bother with possible losses.
To my opinion the key is to find the balance. You don't have to stop gambling entirely but be aware when it's the time to quit and how much is reasonable to lose without having consequences on your finance, it's all about control.

In my case I have to admit that I will stop for a while.
When I see some crisis or a decrease of my salary (I have my own business), I immediately cut some stuff and gamble are one of the first I stop, like going out and trips too

So, what's your opinion?

I will do the same if I see a cut in my salary I will also cut my time and money I spend in gambling and if the crisis is much worse than the salary cut I'll definitely stop gambling until I fully recover from the crisis I'm facing, in life we must know what are our main priorities and gambling is not one of my priority.

In time of crisis, its probably best to stop gambling but it will be with someone's perspective. There could be people who will gamble their last money hoping they will win their bets before finally stopping. The worse of course if he lose it all. The current crisis right now isn't yet turning to its worse so its still fine to play around as long as you are not breaking rules, making your family dysfunctional and most importantly you spend money that you can just afford to lose.

It's getting tough nowadays, the geo-political issues is beyond repair, the oil wars, the corona virus scare, then there are still trade embargo as well.

So I guess everyone should do some sort of cost cutting, we need to save as much as we can (although I'm sure majority of us are hedging our "wealth" into crypto). With the corona virus scare, I stop playing on physical casino, still play will little amounts in online though, but now I put more priority on how to save and put food in the table for my family.

For those people who can still handle the problem, surely they will stop doing gambling to began working on other effective solutions. But for those people who don't have any choice how to get out of that financial problem, there is a big chance that they will consider doing gambling just to hope they will win big. Not just that, aside from doing gambling, they will also consider those illegal methods just to get out of the problem.

Honestly, I can't even say what will I do if ever I will be in that situation.

Generally, there is no definite answer for this since it depends on how heavy or worst the crisis is.

Definitely, you should stop. Most especially if you're as student, you have family to feed for, and if you're not financially stable. Don't take gambling as a source of income because the money there is uncertain and hard to obtain. I knew a lot of people who are addicted in gambling and then they are miserable now because they think that gambling will change their lives. The solution for that is instead of gambling, other option is to invest a business so that you're money will circulate and be manipulated properly and at the same time, earning profit. In a time of crisis, no one should become more confident about the money they have because there is a possibility that the only money you have will still disappear on your hands. I advice you to think properly and include the people around you and the environment that you have as your basis in your decision

Generally, there is no definite answer for this since it depends on how heavy or worst the crisis is.

Crisis is a crisis, no matter how worst it is, crisis is still a problem that we need to look for a solution. Everyone in the world experiences it and there are no difficulties about that. Seek help for the people who are wiser and knowledgeable about that kind of circumstances.

If I were to answer this 10 years earlier, I might say I will not. Though, as of today, I can easily say that I will. Given that I'm already a family man Grin, I'll be prioritizing my family over my personal satisfactions. This I think is the smart way to save money, spending money only for the basic necessities.

Gambling industry will always be there, no matter what happen. This crisis could still be an advantage for these Gambling investor/owner, Given that there are still people who can't control there addiction and people that wishing for a Miracle to happen by way of gambling.

I do not stop gambling when the global economy is in crisis right now (because of the effects of the Covid-19 virus), I will only reduce the allocation of funds that I put for gambling.  the price of staples (sugar, coffee, and spices) in my city rose 50% from the usual price, so I had to really be able to manage and maintain family money..

If you can stop gambling for a while until the crisis end, you will be able to manage your funds for your family, so you will know how much money you have for another thing. But if you still gambling while you don't know how much money you have, that can make you still playing gambling, and perhaps, you will use all of the funds to playing gambling. But that is up to you because only you will know how to manage your funds, especially if your family needs to buy your daily needs.

If "collecting faucet" on freebitco.in count as gambling, then I'm still gambling despite the crisis. I think I will stop the serious one for a while since my income will be affected by a bad economy.

If i would really experience a crisis in my life that i could have a financial problem or i could have a lot of debts. I would definitely stop playing gambling because my problem would become worst that i could literally destroy my whole life, if i gambled the last money that i have.

In times of uncertainty people have the tendency to become way more cautious about the way they spend their money, it is a natural reaction that protect us in the case something does indeed happen, this in return has the effect of slowing down the economy and this can be dangerous especially if the crisis we are talking about is an economic one and it is why governments spend so much time and money to try to recover the trust of the people and begin to spend outrageous amounts of money to do so.

Honestly in time of crisis, gambling would be the last thing I can think about. For example, there has been some stuff going on in my nation recently and I didn't even think about my work let alone gambling for a while because I wanted to make sure everything was alright and we will stay alive and survive it.

So, I even changed my location and moved to a safer and more calmer place where my parents lived, it was harder to do my work there (thank god I am a freelancer) but in the end I had to come back home and thankfully the crisis was reverted as well and I am fine right now. As you can see the "crisis" we talk about could have levels, sometimes its small and we don't worry about it but when it is HUGE we not only forget about gambling but we only think about surviving as long as we can.

I am not stopping anytime, besides I am not gambling for a living or I am not a professional gambler, with crypto gambling even a small amount of money it could already give us some real entertainment, so probably I'll reduce the amount I'll risk in gambling but will not definitely stop.
If you can minimize and keep the entertaining part then it's good for you. There are people out there who manage to deal with this kind of situation and they still find time to enjoy and not to waste more money. The moment you mistakenly overused your fund it will harmed your savings and you need to get rid of this vice.

Well, don't wait until a crisis comes or not. If you dont have a budget on gambling perhaps that is the time to stop and dont wait for anything else. Every time for me is a crisis and every single penny I have I save it for my future and I gamble once I have extra money but it is seldom. Gamble if you are happy about it --but if you here just to hunt and chase money that is not good for you. It's really crisis if you lose a decent amount of gambling.

Personally, I just gamble for entertainment during my leisure time and I know my own limitations, that's why it was easy for me to control or stop myself whenever I want. Anyway, if ever I'll choose to waste my money on the things that I need than I want. Gambling won't give me any assurance that the outcomes is good, so I will not take that risk, especially that there's a crisis. It is much better to save it than waste it on something that is a high risk. I just don't want to end up feeling remorse with regards to my own decisions because I know that in gambling, you either win or lose. It just means that you have no other choice but to accept the consequences.
