Why can ICO kill Cryptocurrency? I know that ICO is a risky venture and ETH is an example of success. I think ICO is one of the factors that helped Crypto attract investors and make Crypto progress, I do not believe it could kill Crypto.

Yes, because the fraud projects are killing this industry. The new wave of investors arrives and wants to make profit, they are entering any scam projects, are losing funds yelling that the whole industry is a scam and quitting.

No, i do not think that the ico are to blame, that the market has collapsed. This is certainly due to other factors. I am not an expert in this area, but that is my opinion.

I'm not in support of the fact that ICOs are killing cryptos. I think the ICOs have made lots of individuals aware of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in general. It has brought more awareness, and it tends to make cryptocurrency known globally.
new ICOs have positive and negative impact to market.some good ico make cryptocurrency community or participants growth alot, and it will make market capitalization rise.but the negative impact was major coins become risky to dump.to much people hold shitcoin.

i am pretty sure that most investors and traders are pointing their fingers to those ICO and blaming these guys on this repeated market correction. There are over 2000 altcoin existing nowadays and thousand of scam ICO are now being recorded. Do you think that we need more altcoins? We already have plenty of them so i believe that raising an ICO should be stopped and start helping other project, not compete with them where in the end, they will also be worthless.

I think crypto is getting stronger because of the ICOs that continue to grow but it has also a negative side to the existing coins in the market because we can't focus and keep switching of which coins is better.

For me, i don't support the ideology that ICOs are killing Bitcoin. Remember, through ICOs most people has got to know about cryptocurrency. Through the awareness creation made by ICOs, the entire crypto space has gone global. ICOs added a new sense of value to the crypto market.

No, the ICO's are part of the Creative Destruction in the crypto space. Innovations will come forth and test of time will determine if they will survive.
So far, the only survivor after 10 years is Bitcoin. Let's see if other coins and projects will still be around after 10 years.

The they is about the product. When they can create such a useful product and then it will be so easy for this project to survive and follow bitcoin in the future. Bitcoin is not a security and then the ico must no become a security to still exist in the cryptocurrency. They need to create a utility token or coin.

It would be a good idea, if there is no new ICO, we will only focus on existence coins, investors will use money to invest in existence coins and make crypto price increase, if investor invest in new ICO, no new money invested to existence coins will make existence coins dump.

You can exclude good ones, the ones who are really building something worthwhile for the space and need funds for that.

After ICO flood, one thing I noticed is, listing fees for exchanges gone rooftop.

ICO does not kill the market. ICO thus making the market comes alive with many new coins with new dishes. without any ICO so monotonous will only market the coin it-it certainly makes investors alone and bored. This is the role of the ICO that could create a new atmosphere for could make the market into fresh.

If the ICOs are scam or a total failure then it will kill the crypto market as some people which is some are potential investors will stay away on this investment and will suggest the others to avoid investing too but if the ICOs is a success then it will make to attract more people to join crypto currency.

What ever what is really true on that. But the only need to do is how to recover again cryptomarket from falling the value. But maybe the ICO who are scam once they collected btc or ethereum from the investor they will convert or exchange it to fiat with worth millions of dollars that can cause dumping too.

nope. the one that killing crypto are the scammer. scammers don't care what will happen in crypto what they care is how they can scam other people. ICO is a way for a individual or group to funds their project that they see it as helpful in the society but there are other ICO that are shit.

Not really, ICO's, I think is doing the opposite and it is that, ICO is promoting the cryptocurrency market into investors, the bad thing is that, some ICO is scam that makes the reputation of some ICO bad. But doesn't really matter, I hope there would be some regulation for the legitimacy of an ICO before it can be implemented in the market.

ICO is only new idea with good concept but always using crypto as pair to built their performance. Crypto market is always grow with their pattern and technology, so even there's no ICO, crypto will live. ICO fill empty space in crypto market, so market is the leader and market can kill ICO.

i think scam icos are not good for the market, but it is not their fault alone that the prices have fallen. there are certainly many other reasons for that. the ico market was certainly good to keep crypto known and as soon as a new form of ico prevails, then maybe a good time for crypto starts again.

I don't support this idea . This point view is superficial and erroneous. ICOs have a very positive impact on the development of the crypto industry, all the negatives come from scammers who pretend to be honest projects , but disappear with money after the end of the ICO. It is they who create a bad reputation for a crypto and kill the market.
I agree with your opinion, the decline in the market is currently caused by the actions of scammers, I hope that in the future more regulations on ICO will be tightened to reduce the space for scammers.
