No, I do not support this idea due to the fact that if the ICO process is interrupted, many people simply will not be able to implement a lot of useful ideas. I understand that there are a lot of scam projects on the market now, but it must be destroyed by other methods.

When bitcoin and altcoins prices drop in the way they have done this year, it's usual to look for explanations, but in the end, it's just a phase. Crypto market moves by cycles and now we are in a bear one, that's all. ICOs are not to blame.

obviously ICO contributes to cryptocurrency, but if it is like this, ICO is no longer welcomed by investors

For me, i don't support the ideology that ICOs are killing Bitcoin. Remember, through ICOs most people has got to know about cryptocurrency. Through the awareness creation made by ICOs, the entire crypto space has gone global. ICOs added a new sense of value to the crypto market.
ICOs doesn't contribute a lot of impact to the crypto market but BCH does it. You should take a look on a lot of news that the BCH fork and battle was creating a lot of uncertainties in the cryptocurrency. you should think again about that, try to do your own research dude and it's really important.

ICO will never kill Bitcoin, but because the income from ICO is not reliable at this time. it clearly affects investors to invest heavily again

Partially, ICO's definitely have set a bad stage for new and upcoming coins.

I don't support this idea . This point view is superficial and erroneous. ICOs have a very positive impact on the development of the crypto industry, all the negatives come from scammers who pretend to be honest projects , but disappear with money after the end of the ICO. It is they who create a bad reputation for a crypto and kill the market.

For the first time, I hear about such an idea. ICO is a very useful thing that creates competition and, accordingly, develops crypto market

All I know is that I know nothing.
they are not killing anything, least of bitcoin! since bitcoin is not even linked to ICOs as much as you would think. if anything ICOs are killing the platforms such as ethereum because ethereum's livelihood depends on ICOs since it has not other usages and without them it becomes completely useless.

but i agree that ICOs because of being scams, have done a lot of damage to the whole market. but if it wasn't ICO then it was something else scamming people!
to solve it we need to educate others to stop being greedy and stop throwing their money away.

ICO has only a remote relationship to Bitcoin, because almost all of them are built on the Ethereum platform!

I support the idea, that scam projects and centralised coins are killing the crypto market. If investors would be more selective with their investments, there would be no problem of scam ICOs. They won't survive without our support.

My opinion is that ICO greatly affects market prices very much, especially ICO participants with large investments, but it cannot kill bitcoin

Actually the ICO program is good for the development of cryptocurrency. But there are some parties who do use this situation to take unilateral benefits that make people view cryptocurrency poorly.

Some added value but some also ruin and pulled down the market cap. Take a look on what's happening now. It's clear that one of the reason of continuous falling is due to removal of funds by the investors on some altcoins. Whether we see a reversal or a total annihilation of cryptocurrency is we facing from now to the future. But Im still clinging to a better fact that somehow market will recover slowly.

It is not Altcoins that are driving down the price of Bitcoin. It is the opposite. On three previous occasions to the current bull market BTC has fallen by more than 80% from their highs. BTC is just behaving as it normally does and trading on sentiment since its only use is as a store of value based on scarcity. That lack of any real utility is what makes it prone to wild swings.

Remember, through ICOs most people has got to know about cryptocurrency.
This is not true maybe some people but definitely not most because ICOs don't really help you learn anything about crypto until you start to invest. If you really want to learn about cryptocurrency start with the most popular which is Bitcoin there's a reason why it's popular in the first place.

I don't know what gave you the idea that ICO's are killing the crypto market since most of them eventually fail and it's very rare to see a token gain success even if they raised so much money during their ICO sale.

I do not believe that the ico market is to blame for the fall in prices.
Of course the whole scam ico did not do the crypto market well, but thanks to icos many new people came to crypto.

Having ico's is like adding spice to a recipe because basically there are new projects/coins/tokens every now and then and because of this payments using bitcoin or other alts are being utilized. I agree with the statement above that btc is killing ico's since it will not push through if there's a dump or their holdings will not be enough to cover their expenses on its project.

With the existence of ICO, the new coins will also appear that have good prospects. ICO is also a profitable investment if we can choose it well. there are many good ICO and have good prospects to followed. So, i agree that ICO not to be blame for crypto market's fall.

3... 2... 1... Launch!
It's more the outright scams that are having a negative impact on the market not ICO's as a crowd funding model itself

More regulation is being introduced which will help to bring about a positive change in regards to legitimizing the industry which will lead to renewed confidence in cryptocurrency based projects
