Believe that the near future, 5 years or 10 years, or farther later, btc will gradually replace the dollar, after all, more and more countries now recognize the value of btc, I now do is to take btc, wait for it after the appreciation

Mnray countries are appreciating bitcoin's value and price and how can it help the country, though there are really things that must be restricted and banned that is why there are countries banning bitcoin. So, bitcoin replacing dollar seems to be really impossible for now, I think it needs more 100 years before the whole world accepts it.

Bitcoin will never 'replace' money, I am afraid. Although it will be a valid payment method that is widely accepted (with debit cards all over the world) but people still want paper money, coins...there will always be people, a lot of people, who would want to touch their money.

Meh.
Bitcoin can not replace the dollar, because it is a digital currency. The dollar can theoretically replace only those currencies that exist in paper form.

That does not make a lot of sense though. Because the dollar is paper it can't be replaced by something digital?

We've seen other things in our society get digitalized and replaced by technology. Why would money be any different?

People used to trade before we even had anything called money. That got replaced.

People used to need something backing up their money to be able to spend and purchase with it. Not anymore.

Bitcoin could very well replace the dollar.

Meh.
I don't think that Bitcoin will replace the dollar specifically but I believe Bitcoin and other crypto's will replace money as we see it and use it today. If that's good or bad is another topic for another time but for no I'll say no. I don't believe Bitcoin will replace the dollar soon. The dollar will probably be around for a long while due to the fact some people are too long on it to give up. If the purchasing power of the dollar were to collapse though is not exactly the same as replacing it.

i think is impossible to dispense the dollar , bitcoin is not approving in lot of country , so if it will be that will be in the long future and only if undated state lost their control
yes that is right that it will take a lot of time and is not going to happen so early.  because still majority of people do not know about bitcoin and it will really take a lot of time when all the people of the world start using bitcoin, in fact still only 1% people know about bitcoin.

Absolutely NO! For the answer we can simply check how bitcoin's stability is. It's very low in stability and this prevents bitcoin from being a real alternative of dollars.

so you mean the instability of bitcoin could make it the currency of the future , but how about it in the future ?

No, I don't think so! The difference between bitcoin and dollar is that dollar is a legally binding currency, while bitcoin isn't. Do you really think that the FED will give up its money printing system? How should the economy in the US run without the dollar?
Not us only that depends with dollar but this world, anything happen with the bitcoin is not impact with dollar because dollar  is the strongest currency. Bitcoin can replace dollar if use more than 51% of world population.

Partially it has replaced USD, in many service based transaction. But still if their is transaction related to goods, even if BTC is used, it is compared to USD. But someday, which is obviously farway, we might see BTC being used without any USD conversion.
in current position i think it is not possible that bitcoin will have any effect on USD, but may be when the users of bitcoin will increase, then it will effect that USD, but no so, will only effect it partially, because people will continue using USD and i am sure that it will take so many decads, will take a generation and will all the people become so much educated to start using internet and computer.

I don't know if this article is legit or just some destruction in the internet: https://dcebrief.com/new-u-s-law-to-replace-dollar-with-bitcoin/ but in my own opinion, I don;t think bitcoin can replace dollars that easily. Not in 15 years. Too much to do, too much to adjust.

Bitcoin will not really replace dollars or other fiats that easily, not just in 15 years but in 100 years. Bitcoin is a good currency for the people, but with it's current state now, I don't think it will be a primary currency of one country. And if bitcoin will be a primary currency, replacing fiats, do you think all the people can keep up with it? Not all people are that updated especially about technologies.
I do not agree that bitcoin will replace the fiat. I'd rather see bitcoin as an option for the fiat itself. Although the potential for bitcoin exists to become a global currency. But I prefer bitcoin to be a currency option. Probably for the stability of the world

Bitcoin will be a good alternative for fiat but yes it will not change or replace the current fiat system. But theres a chance if a supreme authority or body of government will implement and endorse bitcoin to the people.
If bitcoin has a unlimited supply then there is no doubt that bitcoin will replace the dollar currency because bitcoin is so advanced on its technology and a lot of people wants change and advancement and they can find it in bitcoin. Bitcoin has security, anonymity and also fast transactions and also affordable fees compare to the traditional remittances that we used.

And with that unlimited supply the control will be taking over by the government. But the fact is bitcoin is really made against the government's regulation and control so that they can stop manipulating the market and people will have the freedom of choice on what will be their main currency. And if that happened, the government will have no choice but to make something like bitcoin to replace dollar.
That will be the scenario for bitcoin if bitcoin will have an unlimited supply because it is decentralized and a lot of people will use it compare to dollar because of its features like security and the government cannot touch bitcoin because of its being decentralized and the only thing that they can do is to just adopt bitcoin and make it secondary or primary currency in their country.

that makes much more sence. because printing money costs much. transferring and securing it even costs more. and they also have to deal with fake money which costs much much more. but if governments make their own cryptocurrency they will hold 99% and share just 1%. so that whenever they need they can use it like printing money. Bitcoin can never replace a dollar, because it exists only on the Internet. If you create real coins or paper bills, you can already think about it.

Why does it have to be paper? Just because it exists digitally doesn't mean it is not real. People are using paper money less everyday. they are paying with bank cards or credit cards even 5 - 10 Euros at markets, shops, restaurants. people aren't carrying paper money.
Maybe in country where you live, but do not forget that there are other countries that are just started in using electronic way of paying. There are even some countries that does not have pay cards. In most modern countries yes, more and more people are using electronic way of paying, because it is easy. But a lot of people are using paper money too, some people just do not like cards...

Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?

I am positive towards bitcoin's future status. I believe it has a great potential and it's possible to replace dollars but i don't think it is possible in 15 years. It would take a lot of process. it has to undergo a lot of regulation testings, law makings, appointment of  governing bodies, and it's decentralize feature needs a lot of discussion and approval. I think it needs more than 15 years.
