I do not believe in ico ratings, since many ICOs with good ratings have failed.  I think these sites are designed to collect more money for advertising projects.

I definitely don't. Because all ico web sites are taking money from ico team's. They're all turned into advertising trash.
I use Ico sites only to learn the value and amount of ico. I don't trust anything else.
I completely agree, it is dangerous to believe them. But it is very convenient to find useful information about projects on such sites

I don't believe it fully
Ico rating is only a comparison with my research if it is in accordance with my research. I will invest in their ico.

All sites are simply information expressed by one author or some kind of company. You should not trust everyone completely, think with your head. Make your own rating list and some people will trust to your information.

the site rating will not be able to be a determinant of success. investors are certainly not stupid. they conduct analysis and can also see where the good and bad project even though some projects are fooled is still a scam. but when the site rating system like that certainly everything can be manipulated with which has the large capital.

I don't really trust them. I've been to multiple conferences and the way that some of the ICO Ratings sites hawk their services makes them seem like every other pay for play vendor.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
i trust them sometimes but i have a habit to recheck everyhthong and analyse at least so you will know what is better

The rankings should look, but I agree that there's often biased, but rather "indifferent" refer to the evaluation of the project. So engaging the community for discussion is very useful.

I won't rely my decision on an ICO rating website. Such websites could be an addition to your own research but I would not replace it with such. You should always read the whitepaper and the project guidelines on your own. Do not blindly trust anyone on the internet saying something is good or not.

I think rating ICO is not good factor to identify the good one.
It is easy to promote and create a fake one.

You are right the ico sites are paid by ico team so they can never be a factor to rank the good or bad.
Do your study and research about any ico you want to know about.

I don’t really trust these sites because they mostly write about ico projects that have paid more money, so you should only believe trusted sources and make your own decision  Wink
I also do not trust ratings, most of them are corrupt. You can trust yourself and your premonition.

I actually looking at their website. You can see there whats the present happening such as their token sale or pre sale. As a bounty hunter like me thats good to know because youre sure that you have something to get while working at them. You can also look at their platform itself if you cant see their sale like private sale.

Not much really, it is known that those sites alter the rating if you pay them enough, even I have heard cases in which they threaten you with a bad rating if you do not pay the sum they ask you, remember that in this type of market without regulations, lends itself to any amount of economic malpractices, which are usually reprimanded in normal markets.

True if you take a look lets say at ICOBENCH then you will see that there is PAID projects always on TOP ratings without even any Expert Rating . Not sure how the Rating system works , but there is so many projects with 5+ expert rating and it turned out to be a scam project Smiley Would be nice if somebody could create something with Video interviews with CEO and team members so we could see them atleast on video Smiley

you still have to take into account the fact that everyone can abuse their position or functions. Based on this, it is necessary to assume that any rating sites may assign undeserved high ratings to different projects.

I do not trust rating sites, you can look at the ratings, but you can not believe them at 100% of course. You should also pay attention to the idea and whitepaper of the project, partners and advisors, social networks and activity in them and a lot of factors. You can use different websites to see if that particular ICO has received similar ratings in all platform or just one, that can help you find the authentic ones.
