In my opinnion those sites can't be trusted. First of all they offer a service that is paid by the project, second I've seen a few scams with very high ratings in several sites, and third usually things are not transparent regarding evaluation...
Everyone that is thinking about investing on an ICO should thourougly check the team, the project, social channels and so on....

ICO this rating to be one of the criteria in selecting a project ICO. the higher the rating, then I think the ICO will be increasingly good. then I believe with ICO Rating. because all this also has yet to disappoint.

ICO rating bring another perspective to analysis and consideration of ICO within your purview.  There are ICO rating website with reputation for clarity and unbiased reporting,  you should look for those!

Now many ICOS campaigns are over and trust ICO Rating sites are really hard to determine as good and safe. Because i see a high-priced campaign to deceive the community. But there are low quality ICOS Rating sites but very good quality.
yes, I believe, especially if so many sites give a high rating to an ICO. well, those sites are famous because they are able to analyze the rate of the project whether it's really good, or not. well, because of that most successful projects have a pretty good rate.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

It may be a factor still, but then you will have to give them a little credit. Actually, I have long suspected that these ICO Rating sites do not really do their tedious study as to the real credentials of the projects. Their ratings will mostly depend on what are readily available, just the fact that they are available and not whether they hold water or not. And then there is the fact that they also receive undue payment for a higher rating.

Nope, actually it's up to the site. but I usually don't believe that. cuz i saw lots of ad paid by exchange.
It can be a way to advertise as well. but i don't want users to believe those Sad

I use the ICO Rating site as one of the considerations in choosing an ICO. Successful Ico is not only based on a high rating but many factors also support it. Following the ICO program means you support the idea, vision and mission of the project.

There are many things that you can make an assessment in choosing a good ICO, and the ICO rating site is only one of them.

Personally, I don't trust these websites anymore. There was a time when they were a trust source of making an idea about ICOs, but today every scam project can pay some cryto to get good reviews, then as soon as ICO finishes they vanish.

I would recommend non-ICO based projects instead of ICOs.

Given the fact that any project can buy a good rating, it's obvious that we should not trust this. In this case, we need to learn how to do our own analysis

I believe that the rating agencies are doing a very useful job. Thanks to the work of rating agencies, can always quickly find information about any project and independently analyze it.

Never trusted and I do not advise you to believe in these ratings. Maybe few years ago they were honest, but now not. There generally bought comments and estimates.

We need to believe only our own studies of the crypto project and independent analysis. Sites are for beginners, and investors with experience should only trust themselves.

I totally do not trust the ICO sites. They were bought to cheat customers, I used to buy a premium ICC on Icobench and as a result I get 1/10 of my property. The ICM Scam battle to 80%, investment in ICO is risky

I hardly look at them when it comes to legitimacy of the ICO I trust my instinct and trusted members analysis and of course potential investors, because they are the one that will do diligent research if the project is good or not not this rating sites who are being paid to give good rating.

don't just say it, but search it yourself and analyze it further. is it true that your friend said. if only he said but you immediately believe that you don't have the ability to trade properly and correctly. make it a habit to analyze before you participate in it, you can analyze through white paper from the project. there you can assess whether the project is good or not, how the project is formed and the work team.

Ranked ICO according to my very helpful because there are still many sites ICO rating who can still believe in. When I look at the top with ICO, for sure I will be doing the analysis of the project. If the project is indeed very nice of course I will follow. Before deciding to join analysis is very important.

Can you make it clear here on what site are doing those things? Because I`m one of the bounty hunters believing in the ICOs ratings and comments when choosing some project that I want to join, but yes  I just use it as one tools, and I`m not considering the positive ratings as 100% reliable tools in choosing good bounty project.

I am just surprised with the rate at which ICO rating sites are now popping up these days and one thing about them is that they are not ready for serious work, rather they are after what the team of that particular ICO would pay them. They do not want to know whether the project is genuine or scam.
