ICO rating sites offers help in a lot of ways as regards how yo analyze ICO projects and offers also in depth into the points to make note of. This is very good but not all the ratings can be trusted fully and sometimes there is an element of favoritism and this may sometimes lead to people becoming mislead.

But generally I trust ICO ratings to some extent and then do my due diligence.

I believe in ratings from an ICO site, but I rate that assessment is subjectif, meaning that each person or every site will have a different assessment, meaning that the assessment cannot guarantee the project is successful or not, just as an opinion or recommendation only, so we who want to participate in an ICO must have their own judgment as well.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
I don't think so, because in my opinion, the main point before joining with ICO Project is trusted and real team. You can check KYC Report on ICObench before contributing. If they have passed it, then check comment on bitcoin forum or telegram group, and don't forget to make a question. You must check response from the team of project. So you can rate the project by yourself, not by other people!

They can pay other people to rate their project, but not with your judgment!

Not really. That is because, those site can write any thing and comment on about anything in any way. I think these sites are designed to collect more money for advertising projects.

why should i believe into ICO rating if i want to invest my money on ICO? with all my respect, they are supported by some experts behind their rating on some ICOs and has good analyst with many experiences in cryptocurrency, but we are living in digital world here, we cant even know the business behing website listing for ICO and give it good rating to attract investor. i will take my time to do my own research and proper observation when i want to invest my money in ICO. Because i risk my money and hope it will profitable for me

I don't bother to view ico sites rating while analyzing any project because they are usually biased. They neglect projects that are really good and rate projects that pay them for rating. I prefer to follow the analysis of top crypto analyst like Ian Balina and Gobone, because they give their unbiased opinion.

Agreed, I once participated in an ICO that ended up being a scam project,
I thought that project was great because it is rated 5 in some ico rating
platforms.

ICO rating destinations are a major no, obviously from a showcasing point of view it bodes well to connect with one. However, as a financial specialist if your going to put the insight and basic leadership of what ICO to put resources into, in the hands of a completely paid affected 'expert' without doing your own particular due steadiness you have the right to lose the garments off your back.

All who believed sites that put the rating lost a lot of their investments. Only self-study and communication in the crypto project group can give you an answer to the question whether to invest or not to invest.

I have not had good experiences with these sites, most of them accept bribes to improve the rating of an ICO, in my opinion, you should only take it as an overview of what the ICO is more or less about, and from there form your own opinion, to know if it is worth participating or not, because I have heard that they charge up to 10 ETH to give a positive review to someone, which is absurd.

I don't trust Ico Rating Sites, I could use them to know or get initial informations about an Ico and its timeline, but definitely not for my jurisdiction about the project,  In the light of a lot of malpractices in the ICO rating platforms, it is more important than ever for investors to conduct their own research before investing in a new blockchain project. Relying solely on ICO ratings could lead investors to place funds into mediocre projects or even into ICO scams that simply paid for good ratings and reviews. Hence, the old cryptocurrency investing acronym “DYOR” (do your own research) cannot be overemphasized.

Most of ICO can pay that ICO Rating sites for given good rating for their ICO. For me, don't pick up your ICO just because that rating is very good, just analysis their project by team, whitepaper, etc to know your project is good or not.
Right now it is the true reality that's been taking place with the cryptocurrency network. These ico rating sites gets paid and do reviews providing positive feedback even when it is not that worth it. Another thing exchanges who also get paid and list on exchanges. So, it is our good to analyze and find the better which is possible going through the entire white paper and the real product or service behind it.

Not that much because in my opinion, ICO rating dites are just speculations of the majority and given that the market itself is way unpredictable, things that are exoected to hapoen has a possibility to not occur sue to changes in a sudden. But I do think that it is helpful especially when it comes on choosing good ICOs. But relying that much might be risky. Investors should consider his opinion more, on choosing the best one.

Dont based your judgment to ico review sites most of them are not professional on reviewing just making hype reviews to lure investor , much better if you review it as a whole. The only ico i trust as today is Gemstra a new social selling that will revolutionize the traditional centralized management of retail industry ! As of now they have secure many partnership all over Asia and mostly are in China !
