No, I do not trust such sites. It seems to me that they provide information that is beneficial to someone. I think that we should question such information.

I do not trust the ratings - they are corrupt.
It is better to analyze the projects yourself, communicate with the founders. So you can get invaluable experience

Interesting fun fact: Binance was only rated 3.6 on ICOBench and look what happened  Cool
that's really interesting, since the beginning I always skeptical to all those ICO rating site and that this revealed then I will stick to my believe to never trust any such sites.
they're there just for money not for reviewing it so yeah, kinda useless to just trusting all those sites.
I'm not into rating really but in overview o the project or reviews of some well-known people in crypto. Sometimes we need to hear opinion to convince ourselves and to weigh our understanding over that project.

I do not really trust. All the while suspecting ICO of fraud. Because I'm very scornful at this all look. I would advise you 100 times to reconsider.

For me, the ICO rating Web site is just a reference for me to study and make decisions about my ICO investment. It is important that I study the project, analyze the market and consult with the community.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

I do trust them, and I mostly check on different websites for their ratings on different ICOs; however, I don't totally do that, and I don't just solely base my decisions on those ratings. I can say that they play a part but not totally because of the fact that what makes a project trustworthy in this market can't be just rated and qualified like that. The market, the community, news, movements and trends are some information that an ICO investor or a bounty joiner can check to verify if a project would have the chance of breaking through the market or not.

I don't trust to ICO rating sites. At the beginning I've chosen projects according to rating, but now I realised that rating is payed and there is no sense to invest based on 4-5 marks.
No trust is not true, more precisely, we should only trust in part from the information provided by the ico rating sites, especially information related to the community and the project, the efforts that the group is trying to reach with investors. And from that, we will have a common view of the project and evaluate the point of the project according to the thoughts and analysis we have, it reduces a lot of time for us in a project, and we will have more time for other projects, instead of trying to analyze alone with all the projects, that is really very tiring

You must do your research very well to trust a site or a stock exchange. You should see people using this site around you. You can follow investors for ICO, follow financial analysts and ask them what you want.

There are other more reliable ways to get information about ICOs' rating like talking with experts, they are more interested in the result of doing and I trust them more.

Never, they have failed me several times, infact if you are very careful in your study of whitepaper you can do better than most of the ICO  rating sites.

No, it's well known that coins/companies can either pay the website directly or pay freelancers who work on the websites to increase their ratings.

the site rating gives an assessment which is not objective. It is certainly also because they get paid for results they do I guess. for a thorough analysis may not be up to that stage. so it is doubtful enough to believe it. better do your own analysis of the results was satisfactory.

In my opinion the ICOS ranking website has two sides with well-ranked and highly valued campaigns and the ICOS campaign team doing well in selling the Altcoins will give investors confidence. But some of the campaigns i think they are looking to achieve good scores as well as good reviews of the ICOS rankings page. And then mobilize the money to run away is the act of evil humanitarian when people have believed in him and then do so. we have to strongly condemn.

I'm not 100% trus ICO rating sites, I bet there are many ICO rating sites that you can paid them to get a good ratings for your project. I saw so many people on telegram promote about the ico rating site like "Hi, I have a good ICO rating sites, please PM me for discuss it." like that. It's really fishy and I only trust a reputable ico rating site.

All the ICO-rating site have package plan for any ICO being listed on their website which varies from premium to free rating. Some premium rating are the paid rating that you are talking about. Some of this site even have advertisement banner to promote some site being listed on the website. However investors should know that ico rating site is not enough in accessing any ICO.
You need to do your own research before taking part in any ICO! it is no more news that some top rated ICO have turn out to scam... Cool
