For some trusted ICO ratings, yes I quite trust them. But, it is not meant that I will only consider the decision from the ico rating. It is very important to analyze the ICO not only from ICO rating. We must learn their whitepaper, team, and concepts. Of course it will run a long investigation to choose an ICO.

ICO rating can be an option for investment, but we also need to look at it from various sides in making a decision when going to invest such as the development team, bounty manager. A good ICO rating does not necessarily mark the project well because it could be a fraud
You said a lot, there are some ICO ratings. They are not very realistic. They charge the project side and then give it a high rating. If investors easily trust those ICO ratings sites, they are likely to be deceived. When you invest, ICO ratings are just a reference, it is not the deciding factor.

I don't fully trust on ICO rating sites. I only keep myself update about the ongoing and upcoming ICOs and for that I visit ICO rating sites. I pick the ICOs from the sites and evaluate myself is this ICO is worth to invest in ? I read the whitepaper of the project and undertake deep assessment of team integrity then I invest in ICO.

in this market condition we cant expect more profit from any coins,,yeh we can get some good idea about icos by icos site ratings ,but we should do our  own research before we invest .. medium rating icos also give 10X 20x profits  so don't try only high ratings ones Smiley Smiley  Wink Wink

Choose ICO is not an easy matter. a lot of things that need to be considered for these things and not just seen in the site rating which gives judgment. It's also not too objective to follow and even far from the word appropriate expectations. better do a self-assessment based on the analysis and research of the on site assessment relied on the rating.

I don't trust them. I think those sites are corrupted. It is better to create your own spreadsheet and to evaluate projects according to your own opinion. At least this way you can learn to be independent enough to make your own decisions.

I don't trust them because they have their own opinion about the project and that may be different with mine, i only use them to see what ico that's hot right now, or the list of upcoming ico as they usually have information about them. I think sometimes you can lay money to get gold grade or something like that.

actually, ico rating will help the investors and bounty hunters to choose the good ico because by following a good ico, we will avoid the scam ico. we know that the scam ico is very disappointing, therefore we must be more careful in choosing ico in order that we can avoid the scam ico.

In many cases, the ICO rating is approximately the same, and really good projects can be as with a very small rating, but if the project has managed to create a hype, then the rating will be high.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

That’s is only one of many factors to be considered in looking at good ICO project. It should be all factors to considered before joining ICO. Look at the website,  telegram, roadmap and white paper if the platforms are clearly stated. If one factor is not consider then that ICO is not good.

How can we trust rating websites that sell ratings with money? 2 pointed icos sometimes can make hardcap, but even 5 pointed can not even make softcap.

that's why you have to learn it then try to find out about the quality of an ico that has a rating. this is a must when you want to try investing. if not, you will never know about the product, technology and white paper.

No, I do not trust such sites. Most likely the information that exists on these sites is untrue. We should be cautious about such sites.

If all the same decision was made not by people and not advisors then one might start to believe in AI, because it can really tell the truth. But now the system of assessing people still works.

No, no and no. I don't perceive any reason that I ought to trust ICO rating destinations while everybody definitely realize that ICO ventures pay for these sites to advance for their task. LOL. Indeed, even a junk ICO likewise can pay cash for ICO rating destinations to get high rate to pull in financial specialists to put resources into their venture Smiley.

for now I don't trust ico's rating, because I often have a successful ico and a scam that has a mutually inverse rating, I mean there are some ico scams who have good value, and successful ico even has a less good rating , so it can be concluded that ico which seems good and has a good rating is not necessarily good to join, so be careful if you want to participate in an ico.

I do trust some sites regarding with the ratings of the cryptos simply because I do think that rating is proportional with the market demand of a particular coin in the market. Ofcourse, one that is popular is having a high rate. Also, high demand in the market means price increase. Price increase on the other hand boosts the profit to be earned. So by means of practicality and since there are no assured basis to be considered, I think rating would be a good one to rely assumptions with.

I am not interested in the ICO review website. I think they only make a review like that just for money. That is just public deception. I believe in the hype of people. The more who are interested, the more will invest. I also believe in investing too
Yes, most of them are paid to advertise their projects. Based on my experience, the assessment was quite subjective and sometimes inaccurate, there were projects that proved to be scams but previously had very good ratings on the website, but after the report, the rating finally changed and dropped dramatically.

The ICO ratings are not honest, not good and not reliable. Their analyses are not deep, but very shallow. I am usually check it and read, but never trust and always form my own opinion.
