i use two diffrent wallet on my phone (mycelium) and on my desktop pc (electrum) but i use the same private key so these two wallets are only ,managing one bitcoin address. i don't need multiple wallets or any online wallet i am already secured
Since the first time I was introduce to bitcoin, my friend advice me to use multiple wallet because there are so many hackers and phising attempt so its better to store small amount of the coin in a lot of different wallet although its a bit difficult to manage all the wallet but i feel safe

If you have different earning from activities you do to earn , you can use web wallet , and desktop wallet on the same time
I like with the bold sentences, that's true never put all of your balance in the same place because you getting a losing for any time and all of the ways. mixing online wallet and offline it's a good choice, but maybe having above than 1 in every wallet can is better because it's same means you're having a little mixing for your amount. Me i only use 2 bitcoin wallets, 1 wallet is for storing my bitcoin coming from free faucets and for earning in signature campaign and the other i used it to transact online like paying my bills, sending money to my family and loading my cellphone.

I use Electrum and Multibit. For my savings I use my Multibit wallet that is installed in my computer that only goes online when I send and receive bitcoins. My Electrum wallet is for my everyday use.
i used both web wallet coinsph for my exchange for my fiat and coinbase to recieve btc from my faucets earnings, i want to understanf how to use multibit. reading how these will work from my laptop and ow safe it is.

Speaking of wallets if you are engaging in gambling please do not use coins.ph if you are from the Philippines. They are very strict if they found out you are using wallet in gambling activities they will block your account. I was wondering if you keep all your bitcoins in one wallet, or do you use multiple providers/accounts?

Anyway multiple wallets is indeed good since diversion of btc deposit is urgent just in case of a attack from hacker. If one wallet is hacked or blocked your other btc is safe on the other wallet
Why would they do that? That's your money you store there. And you can do whatever you want with your money.
I have done some cleaning up with my wallets. I had around 8 cold storage wallets cointaining 1/8 of all my coins in every wallet. But right now I moved everything to just 3 wallets as that is much easier to maintain for me. Beside that I have 3 different wallets that I use for spending purposes.
in my opinion every person who is holding more than at least 0.5BTC should have at least two wallets.
1) a wallet for storing the coins that you want to keep and don't touch AKA cold storage, which can be a peper wallet.
2) a hot wallet for using/spending bitcoin for example if you want to buy something with it or use it for gambling,...

No bro I am using Only One Wallet For this Purpose But I am Using multiple addresses For Receiving Payments and it will Help me To remember that From where I received the payment.....
Yes I used multiple wallet address, through different exchange plaform addresses. But I have one wallet addres I used which is bitcoin core and multibit hd this two are proven and tested were you can store your bitcoins safely.

Yep. I've always been taught to always have your money in separate locations like for example, some in my wallet, some in my tiny pockets, some in my bag.I do that to bitcoins as well. I have multiple wallets for different reasons. One is for storing for long term, others are for purchasing stuff, cashing out, paying bills, etc.

Yeah I agree. It would be like you store 100,000 satoshis in one wallet, and 100,000 satoshis in another.

I don't have too much bitcoin to store i only have just like 0.1 (something) amount of bitcoins as of now, So i prefer to put them on blockchain.info online wallet and use 2fa verification for another layer of security and i think it's enough for me as of now. But if i will have at least 5 bitcoins i will use multiple wallet like putting the 3 btc on a cold storage for long term investment and i will put the 2 btc on online wallet for using it as a capital on trading.
Its very important to be carefull with your bitcoin create multiple wallet is recommended if someone of them close atleast u still have bitcoin to grow. I already have 3 online wallet .

i was never save all of my bitcoin only in one wallet because it's too risky for me and currently i have 5 blockchain wallet, altcoin exchange wallet and my local exchange wallet
Having 5 wallets in the same service(blockchain) will not secure your money batter. if you want to use multi wallets then use different wallet instead of using multi wallet in the same site.
I Prefer to use one online wallet for receiving and sending money. because online wallets are easily accessible all over the world and you can use them everywhere.
and for Storing bitcoins I use just electrum and never open/import this wallet anywhere else (device/location) for security reason.
