Of course everyone can do this ways to avoid loses or getting a scamm vitcim. Investing in icos is profitable but makes sure learn well about the project before investing.
Of course we need to do a research before we invest to anything because money is involve in this so make sure that you research before you invest to any ICO project. If that project is good or have potential to grow in the future.
Yes, I did research before investing in ICO! But, now I stop wasting my time by researching ICO projects. It is better to go through post-ICO or IEO projects than ICO! Because investors do not care about ICOs anymore. Though some ICO projects are doing good but in the end, they are going through the IEO too, like Azbit, Cures and many more. So, we should appreciate the IEO, not the ICO after seeing all of the scam, failure and drama!

Except for the bear market that some of the expect's predictions failed, I will prefer considering experts' opinion after your research. Some of them have direct link to this project and have inside information that is assuring. One of your research should be on experts with successful predictions before the bear market.

I agree that it is good to do a proper research or a proper project checking about the said project before you decide whether to invest into it or not, so we can avoid to ne a victim for scam. But in an instance, as we make a research and it make so well this doesn't mean that we are guaranted that the project we researched and invested in is legit because these scammers usually set their projects up in such a way that it will look real and legit and promising. Only try to invest in a well known project such as BTC, ETH and ofcourse with DencoiN.

I personally always take care if I want to participate in the ICO, I have to look at all the data and facts from the CEO and the project, because if it is not examined, I'm afraid the project will deceive me.
