The price of bitcoin is matter to everyone. Many traders are aware of bitcoin price and most of the altcoins follow the price of out king, bitcoin. Hence, the price of the bitcoin is really important to bring up the total market of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin will always be the one to get compared with other using the price.
Every altcoin is depending to bitcoin and as well it's price. And for investors old or new price do really matter, if you are an old time investor or not that old and you had bought bitcoin at the very cheap price before price is the basis of your profit and losses. And for new investors, if they bought it at $15,000 well it's still a loss for them until now.

The price of bitcoin is of course very important. Currency price is very important for the price of the other block chain effect, because the currency is the industry standard, if the currency prices are low, and other virtual currency prices are not very good!

Well, as you can see in these days of general panic, the price of bitcoin matters very much!
Until bitcoin won't be the only currency in the world, its relative value is the most important parameter.

I couldn't agree more. The price matters much right now. Since bitcoin's price is very high a lot of the new investors are afraid of their money invested in bitcoin because of the big amount they have inputted.

of course it is.. how can we value bitcoin without the price? and without the price we cannot use it as a currency to pay bills, products or services. bitcoin is the a virtual currency that can change the financial system in the world. the more people use it. the more people will accept its usage .. it the price will skyrocket.. going to the moon.

In my personal point of view, the price of bitcoin really matters because many investors are looking on the price pattern before investing their money.  If the price of bitcoin will be stable and promising, more people will be encouraged to use and invest on it. On the other hand, if its price will be unstable and falls regularly, encouraging investors will be hard  and nobody will be interested to use bitcoin because they will think it is just a scam.  If that happen, the future of bitcoin will be doomed. That's the reason why signature campaigns play an important role so bitcoin will be trending.

Then, more people will be educated regarding how does bitcoin works then it will make a way to stabilized  the bitcoin price so, more investors will be encouraged to invest on it.  I have a great trust that as the time goes by, the price of bitcoin will be stable with promising price.

Thus, now, even bitcoin experiencing ups and down of price value bitcoin is still on it price. Bitcoin price have a big important role for become famous and to attract more investor to it and even in small investor they will trust to bitcoin if they seen the price of it is stable and consistent.

If Bitcoin was a currency, then its price will not matter much. But nowadays hardly anyone is using it to make payments, because of the delays in getting confirmations and very high fees. Now most of the people are using Bitcoin as a form of investment asset. In such cases, the prices definitely matter, because the investors hope to sell it sometime in the future at a profit.

for me yes , many people price is the basis when they start to trade like that , many ofcourse if price is low they will buy not only  traders do but also those who want to earn with just simple buy and hold . And also those who want to convert their bitcoin to their currency price is matter because someone would not convert or sell their coin if the price is low .

simple, it matters for the short-time investors for they earn profit when by selling high and buy lows, but its irrelevant for the long-term investors though I believe that majority of the community find the Bitcoin price/value matters.

It matters because you need to exchange it with other currencies.
If you used only bitcoin, theoretically speaking, it didn't matter, as you would be only interesten in what you can buy.
Bitcoin price really matter and it’s only the price which make respectable bitcoin in society and day by day its users are going to increased so we need to join bitcoin because its price is very high and every country is trying to get bitcoins it’s a very safe currency and you can invest here for taking a good profit and if its price still remain like this so I’m sure that it will be an international currency and also it will end world poverty.

For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

I think that the price of bitcoin matters, particularly to a bitcoin investor like me. It is really important because by holding bitcoin for as long as we can just so we can get the perfect timing for a good price matters. There shouldn't be other ideas involved regarding this matter since the main thing that we should focus on is holding.

It's a strange question: in a currency, price is the ONLY thing that matters!
I don't think you want to evaluate a currency after its name or after its logo... :-)

If price doesn't matter, what else can matter in a evaluating a currency?
Of course you need to know what is the bitcoin value in relation with the other currencies.

I wonder why the bitcoin price is still high volatile when marketcap has reached more than $ 250 billion, ordinary prices rise thousands of dollars every day, making me and many users uncomfortable with this condition. I hope the price is not too fluctuating so it makes me calm.
