There have been endless discussions on this, the only thing it coms to is the fact, that are you in it for the technology or do you have money invested. If you are a person using it for sending money to another place, and only buy it at the point of the use, then it doesn't matter. But if you happen to store it for long term, then obviously it matters as you will essentially be losing money on it.
The Bitcoin price is to important to just forget about. The price is deciding what the Bitcoin users are going to do next with there money or with there Bitcoins.

Price does not matter for newbies, but for traders and sellers is so important cause they are working with this everytime and theirs income depends on bitcoin price.

I think it's' matter for all people, even on newbies too. Because when the price of bitcoin is really big, newbies are attracted with bitcoin and will learn about bitcoin.

That's right, when people saw the big price of bitcoin they will be amaze on it not knowing that bitcoin has really a great future and potential.
So it really does matter for the price of bitcoin is. And most of the cycle depends on the price of bitcoin.
And also the alt coins depending on the price of bitcoin.

Yeah because price is more attracting for people who seeks for oppurtuniTy online and for bitcoin price it can really tell the promosing and worthiness of the time if we spend it in here,  price can tell the the wider and how successful the market for this coin, it can be attracted to businessman because they can see it profitable if they apply it to their business.

Price matters even to newbies and it matters to each and every user of bitcoin, if bitcoin would not be holding any value I bet no one would be wasting their time here.

Thats right, other people say that it is not the only price that keep the bitcoin and regulate and alive but to tell you frankly. 90% of bitcoin community came here because of the value bitcoin had while 10% is because of the technical reason. Just to add also, many btc users doesn't know what's really the technicality of bitcoin so yeah,  price matters. for newbie even for pioneers.

The price of Bitcoin does matter. As a currency, if you are used to say 0.01=$5 and it drops or rises, than you may have to worry about how much bitcoins you need to actually make $5.

It is the least important number for me.
What is the price? Really its a guess at value, and the price at an exchange reflects an aggregate of peoples perception of value. When we were rallying up to $1000 there was a great deal of speculation that we were about to go way up. But those guesses were wrong. Now we have fallen to a place that, for the moment, seems to support a valuation of $240. That is much more in line with the current use and scale of bitcoin. So if price is a guess, although our best one, why not look at something that is a fact instead?

Far more predictive numbers include:
1. number of venders that accept BTC
2. amount of capitol investment
3. number of markets exploiting BTC potential (online retail, remittance, etc.)
4. number of people and institutions using BTC

I agree with your points but price is a very easy way to get at your more predictive numbers.  I think it matters quite a bit for miners and for conveying that bitcoin is a serious technology.
the price of a bitcoin always matter what if you want to buy something that costs you more then 1000 dollar and you only got less then 1 coin thats not enough because one coin is around the 400 dollar so you cant buy the thing you want to buy.

Price of bitcoin really matters. The reason is that bitcoin gives life to more users who are totally depending upon bitcoin. So only based upon price those users can schedule one's living expenditure.

Yeah and I think price is really important to make some good profits from it and if it would not be holding any price then no one would be interested in using or investing into it.

What actually matter is not the actual price, it's the trend.
If the price is stable or rising, the adoption increases. People and businesses get more confident in bitcoin and start using it. More miners start up their gears.
If the price is falling, people get scared / suspicious and will go away from bitcoin.

The price is what starts everything with Bitcoins and is the most important thing there is I can think of when it is about Bitcoin. If the price is nice and high then people will sell there coins.

Well there have been down from the past and a lot of them stopped from doing this kind of thing. The price will also be considered as always. They see something not going well and they go.

Price will always be important as it is the one that dictates bitcoin and as well as us, the bitcoin users to use bitcoin if the price doesn't matter, well no one
will use bitcoin of course we are all depending on it and it's the one the makes the circulation of bitcoin in the market.

Yes the price of bitcoin matters, the price of bitcoin affects the signature campaign fee in this forum, some are closing cause of higher price of bitcoins

They will not close their campaign for all, it will be closed only for new participants, and there is a chance if price goes higher then they will reduce the rates.
I agree that everything depends on the amount of new investors and the number of them although if the market will come banks that growth will continue and continue very strongly.

I know in the future there will be a major adoption as when they witness the price movement recently they will be attracted with the amazing value of bitcoins, so the longer it takes the price of bitcoins increases and it's move valuable in the eyes of investor.
