I hope not.. No matter how new technology is, we can't remove cash suddenly at the year 2023. It's five years from now, I don't think they can make it.
Bitcoin growing day by day and attracting many people toward bitcoin that doesn't mean that it can make cash to extinct, nobody can't do anything to cash it will be there in the future. People are already getting used to fiat money and their main source for a transaction is cash, so it will not extinct.

I don’t think cash will be extinct. It will depend on the leader or governments of that country. Not all the person knows about the new methods of cashless musty the indigent person they can’t adopt or accept this new kind of the system. What if the internet connection got a problem? How can use it? However, being cashless also have good benefits at all I think we can reduce that corruption because of the transaction is can be seen by all the people.

Money will still retain its value even crypto is taking over the market. However, it is very predictable that money will no longer visible in money transaction nowadays. Bitcoin is the other form of transaction that rising in this generation that do not require the visibility of physical money.
However, there are still advantages and disadvantages that you have to consider in making money transaction which you can compare versus cryptocurrency. One of the advantages is the free tax and all other charges compare that will top up on your money transaction compare to bitcoin transaction. With all the changes, we have to admit that technology is really taking a big part in changing the future when it comes to currency.

It's very dengerous to change cash on digital money because if something bad will happen to their system money would lose their trust and price...

Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Perhaps the paper money will go extinct, the changing times and technological advances that make crypto money more potentially than paper money. Paper money will be extinct and replaced with crypto money. I think crypto money is the money of the future.

I dont think cash will be extinct because part of the daily basis and i think cash more important. There's a possibility that that there will be an another mode of payment however, cash will never perish.
Now, if Cash are gone. Are people will invest in Bitcoin? Volatility that make people want to invest, agree or not.
But the fact says so, people Pump when the price lower and Dump when the price higher.

Crypto in future will replace Credit Card or Debt Card function, but it still doesn't have much power to distrach Fiat/Cash

I truly believe that it's our future. Sweden may be the first, but not the last for sure. We already moved from wallets full of cash to credit cards and cashless society is going to be the next step.

I think cash will be extinct. Despite the pervasiveness and convenience of cash, purveyors of new payment technologies say their systems eventually will make cash not just obsolete, but extinct.

Cash will never be extinct, because the money we use to buy our goods and our needs.

Cript money is different from cash, cripto money is digital coins that we get from the media of digital technology and we can exchange money.

So cripto money can not be used if money is extinct, unless the government gives way to use cripto money to be directly used without having to exchange cripto money into cash.

So it must be a decision from the state government. If now we directly use without exchange for cash currency, surely we can not use it because it can only be used after exchanged into cash first.

I guess not probably, In the third world countries that I am now living, it is so hard to replace cash as it is the only easier means to transact business. If we would be using cryptocurrencies as payments we would need internet connectivity. So I think maybe that is possible in some countries but is hard for us to do.

Maybe they could say that cash would be extinct entirely but only with their country because they lived in a prosperous side of the world and for us it would be likely impossible, but who knows maybe we could actually adapt and become like them.

It is possible but it don't think it is going to happen anytime soon, I admire Sweden for this brave initiative but I think it will have a lot of negative repercussions to the nation's economy if we are going to eliminate its national currency plus it will take a lot of time and effort for the people especially the not so tech savvy ones who doesn't even know what and how digital currency works.
