Cock fighting was once a very popular activity in our country too but with the passage of time it is decreasing and losing popularity. Maybe because we have many new interesting casino and betting games that now no one is interested in cock fighting.

Yes, its a local gambling sport in the country that are held even legally. There are even some small betting games happened within some small places whenever there are people who wants to bet on it. Its kind of a traditional betting game in the country. Sadly, it become illegal although a lot of people play it because of the interest of the gambling house that are not claimed by the unauthorized game play.

Chicken fighting is very popular in Asia because it has been around for a long time and now chicken fighting is used as an object of gambling to take advantage, indeed it is very sadistic for me where animals are treated like that, but some countries disagree with chicken fighting or are very opposed, sadistic and made an object of gambling, not good if learned in common sense, I am not very supportive of such games.

yes i do heard of it . its mostly available on asian countries like the ones that you listed above . its a kind of gambling and gambling can be legal or illegal . its legal if the owners have a permit from the local government and if its backed by big people ( ex. police , politicians , etc ) but it can be illegal if they dont have a permit to operate and if they dont have a protector .

It's not popular in the EU. France banned cock fighting long ago and a few years back some people went to court against the ban and lost. Many countries don't have laws banning cock fighting in particular but they have laws against animal cruelty so if you organize the fights you can be fined if the court decides that there was cruelty involved. Over the Asian countries it can be seen on the village region. These hasn't got any access in the online gambling. This happens between two cocks tied with nails in the legs in my country. It's legal here in the Philippines but every cockfight needs approval from the government or else if could be considered as an illegal cockfight. A lot of gamblers are into it and some of them are betting high which makes the fight more interesting and intense at times. I have no idea if it's legal in some countries but it's a normal game here.
