My country still uses cockfighting gambling illegal but still done in stealth betting, especially in my bucolic the gambling is still crowded and thing the most interesting that even though it has been expelled by the police the gambling cockfight will always return and it will continue.

All animals have natural tools in order to defend itself.  Domesticated animals have less but they are still there.  I would never condone betting on animal fights but cock fighting is thought as normal in Mexico and other asian countries.  Just as people in United States think eating dog is terribly wrong but its done in other countries.  Also these cocks have a good life up until their fight, much better than the animals living in factory farms.

It was very popular in Indonesia, but since the government became stricter to gambling activity then this rooster fighting became very rare to find. I do like the countries where it isn't legal and law is enforced right when someone do it. I would never bet in such things. Raising animals to suffer and die only for "fun" is not so fun from my point of view and where is the humanity in that practice? - We are supposed to be the rational ones.

Yes, it' mostly carried out in the village areas where there are no casinos or other means to gamble except cards of course.
