A coin inspired by a dog, now that's a joke. I doubt if people really took the coin seriously in the first place.

Anyway I'll be creating my own coin "caticoin" soon inspired by the love of my life, my cat  Cheesy.

For the past two years doge has been one of the  familiar altcoin in the market. I think since the beginning of this year this is the first time I started to hear about it again especially on this forum. I am also hope that doge pump Up like it has been since the beginning till when the price now remain stagnant.
Doge is an altcoin can mining with algo scrytp, if the price and profit for mining this coin increase up, I bilieve Bitmain will support this coin like Litecoin.
In addition, next year is dog year's of China, maybe that time is era of Doge coin. Cool
so there is a possibility that next year altcoin doge will rise after the current price really make us sad because the price is down especially for this month.
this must be very detrimental for miners who still survive to mine at Dogecoin.

Doge is not gonna die...nor will the "moon" as people like to call it. It'll remain a niche coin (and its actually very useful at what it does!) - People just need to stop chasing x1000 gains on every single thing they touch, instantly.

Hilarious that doge isn't even really trying, its just a fun joke, and yet it's still here, and slightly pumped since it came out.

I think the movement of doge in the market does not change that shows that this coin will die and according to what I see for doge, I see the price is still stable and still has a high value when seen from the launching year of doge I think doge now has a better value than its first launch year. So what makes you see that the doge is dead?
Right,I think it's rather a altcoin with a low value but that does not mean that this dead, simply its value can not be increased too much and above all stay up.

In dollar terms, doge is at a pretty good value (higher than it's been for several years).

It's never going to die - that's because it's low fee and fast confirmation make it ideal to move coins from exchange to exchange without being stung by fees.

This is news to me. Ive been using LTC after noticing it was cheaper than BTC to move from exchange to exchange. Is Doge really cheaper to move from exchange to exchange than something like LTC?

Thanks in advance.

I think doge is dead and you should better invest in some altcoins with more structure and a better team behind it. I dont think that doge will survive if youre going to plan with it in long term. I just traded doge one time and flipped it with a double while a hype. Never touched it again Cheesy

Yes I agree the doge is dead. This coin was just created for fun. I am actually surprised that it survived for so long. I also have some doge but only for laugh. Stay away from the dead coins as they will never get up no matter what!

Doge used to be one of my favorite altcoin but it seems that it's not gonna recover to it's former state.
Is their hope for Doge? What can you say about the big drop of Doge?

It is still being used today by lots of people because it offers low transaction fees and high speed confirmations. So don't worry too much it will rise someday. Though not as big as bitcoin, at keast it will. And if you have a bunch of doge on storage, just don't give a lot of thought to it. Just leave it sit there and don't sell it unless you really need the money. Because we'll never know, it might bring you fortune someday.

I don't' think Doge is a good coin for trading, because it's price almost never moves, so you will not be able to participate in pumps and dumps, and get some profit from it. In the long run I also don't see many changes on it's price, so although it doesn't seem like you will profit from it if you buy and hold them, at least it could also mean that you will not have any losses as well. Despite all of that I don't think doge it dead, because it has some good use for gambling. BTC is just so high, that it's a lot cheaper to gamble in casinos using doge. The fees are quite low as well, so I don't think Doge id dead.

Yes agree Doge coin is joke coin on the crypto world, but Doge is not Dead coin. I use it long time for gaming on dice casino. Was a time when I bought dog in 20 sat each and then sold them 110 sat each which is small but good profit, Yes price is 20 sat but prices will be up again

The power of Doge is that you never know when there will be another up tick in the popularity of the meme that can send up and up.

That will always give it life, potential. So it's not a bad coin to have in a portfolio.

Doge is never going to be a real contender in coins, but will last a long, long time. It's been around too long to where people will always trade it hope for a future. It's got too many drawbacks, mainly of which (imo) is the huge supply that keeps growing pretty quickly.. seriously, 110B growing by 14M per day? Those are tough odds to go against it going to 1 sat eventually.. yes, that may be a long time, but the bottom is the bottom unless you want to keep up with serious inflation)

Not sure I understand the first response comparing to XRP/Ripple. That coin has huge volumes and a diminishing supply as it's consumed/used. Would much rather put money into that, though I don't own any now.

Doge isn't even trying to be a contender, which is the really funny and special thing about it too. There is no alt that has such a great following, does not pretend to be a special alt and yet still is. I have only a few thousand but it slowly grows every few days, random stuff like tipping and all of that gifting. Also, don't get why it is compared to XRP. Doge is truly in a class of his own. XRP has many faces and many mirrors to look at.
