Never been a fan of doge; but, if you can buy, sell and transfer from one wallet to another wallet a coin is not dead. LOL that's kinda obvious.

Doge used to be one of my favorite altcoin but it seems that it's not gonna recover to it's former state.
there is no "former state" for Dogecoin!Doge has always been a joke coin that became a little bit serious but since the fundamental of it has some issues it can never grow higher than certain prices.
the "state" will always be going down because of huge supply.

There's no reason for doge to died now
Doge is the one of altcoin which won't die soon.
It will get pumped everytime but i don't recomend for long term Investment
And if doge died then xrp died long ago.

If Doge is dead then XRP died long ago. There is currently almost 14 Million Doge mined and sold daily not a single XRP has been sold in over a month and both have about same total supply.

Currently XRP $0.2230 and Doge $0.002151 (times 100 $0.2151)
