This thread is going a bit off-topic with the last few comments... I understand the concern of people with certain political views about Trump possibly being elected again, but why do you think that would be so bad?  He already has one term behind him, right?  Have there been any draconian laws?

He attacked the US Capitol, leading to several people being killed.

He corruptly pardoned criminals who gave him political donations, including one who was found guilty of ripping off his own supporters.

He is a convicted criminal, and is indicted for many other crimes which are extremely serious.

He has promised to surrender Ukraine--and the rest of Europe--to Russia. He repeats Kremlin propaganda on a daily basis.

He said the patriots buried in Arlington National Cemetery we "fools" because they needlessly threw away their lives instead of using his family's money to get him out of serving in the Army.

He will deport 15% of the American workforce, building up a massive new government bureaucracy and police force to do so, and decimate the US economy while doing it.

He will make abortion illegal nationwide, leading to a massive new police force in order to stop the millions of abortions in the USA that occur here every year (akin to the Great Prohibition, which created a massive new police state in the USA).

In his first time Trump was a one-man crime wave, and his voters have demonstrated that they don't care about this in the least, meaning he would be an absolute idiot if he didn't commit more crimes while in office to enrich himself and his family.

In Trump's first term, he didn't think he could get away with very much. Now he knows his voters don't care, because they actually want a dictator, not a president. He knows he would be stupid not to use this power, which will be unlike any president the United States has ever seen.

Under Trump we will see massive changes that will disrupt the lives of all Americans.

Or we can get Biden, which will mean the same stuff we've been living with for the last four years when, well, Bitcoin went up 500%.

That's why people don't want Trump.

Rube. Project 2025 is a Democrat psyop created by the Lincoln project. Trump has disavowed anything to do with it. But lies are your liberal native tongue.

#TrumpVance2024

On this page they have a list of about 30 Republican think tanks and political organizations who are on their advisory board:

https://www.project2025.org/about/advisory-board/

Surely you should contact each and every one of these entities and tell them that their trademark has been illegally used by... Project Lincoln, right?

Try contacting just one of them and let us know how it goes Smiley.

But again I ask you personally: as such a avowed and enthusiastic Republican, are you trying to tell me you disagree with the goals laid out in Project 2025?

See, this is why nobody can believe Republicans when they say they both are and are not in favor of these things at the same time...

Use colored fonts all you want, it’s settled law. State’s Rights under the 10th Amendment to the Constitution. Learning how our Republic works would be a great endeavor for you.

Never heard of the Comstock Act, have you. You really should do a little more research before you embarrass yourself like that.

And while you might believe it, the entire Republican Party of the United States does... not believe it:

https://www.project2025.org/

And one other thing: you are clearly a staunch Republican--nothing wrong with that, you are entitled to your political opinions. But clearly you want abortion to be illegal, being so staunch an advocate for this party. Don't you see how disingenuous that makes you look when you pretend you and your party aren't for that all of the sudden, just before a major election?

That issue has already been settled by the Supreme Court. It’s a State’s Rights issue, each state makes its own laws on abortion. Just the way our Constitution intended. Stop spreading FUD and lies.

If your trying to imply that Congress cannot pass laws against abortion that apply nationwide, that's not only false, but there's are already laws against certain abortion procedures that apply nationwide, so what you are implying here is very obviously false.

And Trump could effectively ban the abortion pill, which is how 65% of abortions are done today, nationwide in his first day in office.

Republicans have been calling abortion "baby murder" for the last 50 years. The party wants to make abortion illegal. Everybody knows that. It's the height of dishonesty to suddenly try to say, "just kidding" after a 50 year campaign saying the opposite.

Trump's 2025 Project makes it clear that a nationwide ban on abortion is the immediate goal, and that Trump should do everything in his power to make this happen.

If Trump is elected, abortion will be banned across the USA. It's as simple as that. If that's what you want, vote for Trump. If that isn't what you want, then vote for Biden.

I think it’s ironic that people are so hyper focused on Trump’s “pro” Bitcoin stance that they forget everything else about him. Let’s not forget that this is a man that was anti-Bitcoin, idolizes tyrants, is a convicted felon, and is going to reshape our “democracy” into an autocracy.  We’re about to lose so many more freedoms than we realize.

As I keep saying here, the election in the USA in 2024 will be about one thing: should the US make abortion illegal or not.

Compared to that massive issue, everything is meaningless for voters.

Trump wasn’t anti-bitcoin.

He was pro-USD. There is a big difference.

And it makes sense when you think about it. He was the president of the US and USD is the national currency of the US.

He might have realized the fuckery going on with the FED and that probably made him change his mind. Or maybe it was the j** banksters who tried to murder him because he is pro-bitcoin now.

Either way, a change is coming.

The dust will arise from the country collapsing in upon itself.  America is on the verge of becoming a failed state.  Whichever of the two senile old duffers they elect, neither are mentally equipped to perform the role anymore.  Both Biden and Trump should be in an old peoples' home where they can't harm anyone with their addled minds.

Its gonna be a while before the dollar finally collapses, and when it does, its gonna wreak havoc on the global economy. Remember that Bitcoin has only ever existed in a bull market. We have no idea how it will respond to a recession. If the recession is caused by a failing dollar, that's when things will really get interesting.

Having said that, as an American, it is truly embarrassing to see things this bad politically. Anyone still rooting for one side of the aisle over the other is missing the bigger picture.

It will all depend on the growth of bitcoin in the coming years, if it can be recognized in the same way as gold then the collapse of the USD will be even more beneficial for bitcoin as people will look for a safe haven for their property. In addition, once the USD collapses, it means that other countries' currencies will dominate and that is just a transfer of power, so some countries will be severely affected but there will also be countries that will benefit. I don't think the world economy will completely collapse if the USD collapses.

Are you from the United States? I wonder, your country has many talented young politicians, why do you let two doting old men run the country? Everyone says the US is a democratic country, and elections are decided by the people, I can't believe people decided to choose two doting old men to lead them. It's confusing.

And so they continue the Trump pump,

https://x.com/WatcherGuru/status/1813680609434488837

This kind of statement though might really hit Bitcoin enthusiast in the heart and so they are going to vote on Trump and there are no stopping him from getting re-elected and the one that chance the course is him going pro-crypto.

Yep, as I have been saying, Trump will consider Bitcoin something he personally owns, not a system that is decentralized and owned by the Internet generally.

The minute he understands how it actually works he'll ban Bitcoin in the US and force Americans to use something that he personally profits from.

Leave no FUD unchallenged
Hopefully America embraces crypto at its fullest to avoid being left behind in the dust. Smiley

It's interesting to point out that in a topic about positive stance on Bitcoin, it is brought up that the Elon FUD Musk is helping Trump, the same Musk that has spread a lot of FUD about bitcoin Wink

Musk spreading FUD about Bitcoin was nothing but an act of pure hipocrisy. His company Tesla already has substantial amounts of money invested into the cryptocurrency. Elon Musk's his criticism of Bitcoin's "high energy consumption" is nothing more than false propaganda to help promote carbon-neutral energy sources. After all, Tesla is all about Lithium-Ion batteries (EVs and solar energy solutions). He decided to support President Trump's political campaign in light of the failed assasination attempt.

If Trump now supports Bitcoin, so will Elon Musk. There's a high chance BTC will turn bullish during Trump's second term as President. Hopefully America embraces crypto at its fullest to avoid being left behind in the dust. Smiley

The election is rigged the dems are deliberately losing so trump will win.

trump is a mortal lock to win 🏆 the presidency.

biden will linger and linger and linger in order to more effectively toss the election .

personally i prefer vance vs harris

not trump vs biden

Same thought.

It's not worth being a president for another 4 years where rates have gone up and people can't find jobs in "saturated" markets.

The job market is what is going to make the difference in these elections, especially in swing states like Georgia. PhDs in Atlanta have to be self-employed in order to sustain themselves, who could imagine that.

Elon Musk has said he plans to commit around $45 million a month to a new super political-action committee backing former President Donald Trump’s presidential run, according to people familiar with the matter
Looks like crooks always find each other and help each other as well specially if they are the rich oligarchs.
