The monitoring mission of the UN Human Rights Council to Ukraine has recorded facts of mass killings of civilians, abductions, torture, sexual abuse, forced labor and extortion by Russian-backed militants in Donbas, according to Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry.
"Ukraine has carefully studied the eleventh Report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, which covers the period from May 16 to August 15, 2015. The information collected by the monitoring mission is another evidence of a highly negative impact of the Russian aggression against Ukraine on the human rights. In particular, it clearly states the impact on human rights across the region of external factors, such as Russian supply of military forces, weapons and ammunition to the Donbas," as stated in comments by MFA of Ukraine provided to UNIAN.
It is noted that the report is of great importance as it documents the crimes committed by Russian-backed illegal armed groups in the east of Ukraine. Among the facts reported by the mission are mass killings of civilians, abductions, torture, sexual abuse, forced labor and extortion.

Coinits, no. Violence and hatred leads to more violence and hatred. That's not the Russian way. Many/most of those Ukrainians with guns are either brainwashed or intimidated into fighting. They are most often common blokes taken off the streets (literally) and thrown into the meetgrinder. Just like the Germans invading USSR during WWII were for the most part common people.
We must find and bring to justice all those, who organised and orchestrated this civil war, a Nurenberg for Ukrainian oligarchs and their backers, if you please. I just don't see USA extraditing Biden and Nudelman (aka Nuland) to be tried at such a trial...
Now on to the sensationalist article, mentioned by Pagan 2.0
As always, let's go to the source and not fixate on a pro-Bandre interpretation of the site above:
http://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Countries/UA/11thOHCHRreportUkraine.pdf6.
HRMMU continued to receive and verify allegations of killings, abductions, torture
and ill-treatment, sexual violence, forced labour, ransom demands and extortion of money on
the territories controlled by the ‘Donetsk people’s republic’ and ‘Luhansk people’s republic’. It
also received reports of isolated incidents where armed groups disrupted religious services
and intimidated several religious communities. An estimated three million people continue to
reside in the territories under control of the ‘Donetsk people’s republic’ and ‘Luhansk people’s
republic’ without protection from the human rights violations and abuses of the armed groups
and their supporters. The estimated hundreds of people held by the armed groups are at
particular risk of being tortured, ill-treated or otherwise abused.
What strikes me in the report is a total ambiguity. Let's see
- "HRMMU continued to receive and verify allegations". Yes. Allegation. Mostly coming from Kiev officials. The only international mission on the ground in the are is OCSE.
- "on the territories controlled by the ‘Donetsk people’s republic’ and ‘Luhansk people’s republic’". What is does not say, is all the cases of mass graves that DNR and LNR uncovered on the territories that were under control of the Ukrainian ultranationalists, but which were liberated by DNR/LNR and thus came under their control.
OCSE refused to investigate those:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t2qgMRakws- "The estimated hundreds of people held by the armed groups are at particular risk of being tortured, ill-treated or otherwise abused." - Again, why not mention which "armed groups". Donetsk and Lugansk authorities have files with testimonials of hundreds of civilians and military personel, who were liberated from the Kiev armed groups and bear witness of torture and simulated executions.
