The Honor of the US President

The Donetsk Republican Army didn't steal the tanks. The coward junta soldiers left those tanks in the battlefield, while fleeing. 100% of the rebel tanks were captured from the junta soldiers. The rebels are actually thanking the junta for making timely arms and equipment deliveries. Now they are expecting fresh supplies of American Humvees.

Why did Russia give Ukraine a bunch of their tanks within the last decade, only for Donetsk Republican Army to steal them later?
