Why are you posting this S.C.A.M website here ??
Your site maybe?
Do you think someone will send you money?
Someone already delete this cretan.

I do not understand...
No, it is not my site. Why do you think it is scam website? It is just a file hosting server, anyone may upload the content.
And yes, some people are buying and downloading.
Why do you want to delete some Greek guy? Grin https://www.greece-is.com/the-cretan-soul/

For the ones who want to try: https://satoshidisk.com/pay/CBUgHr

The old link was deleted, so I re-uploaded: https://satoshidisk.com/pay/CBX2An

Let me know which file (filename) is definitively wrong, so I will delete from my collection, not to mess with it any more.

Haha, I came here as I was googling wallet encryption and saw this post. It is funny how many people would pay money for this

Then it's is possible to assume that duplicate iterations are crafted fake wallets.

That's exactly the point. ;-)

Thanks for your code snippet!

Hi!

I have done some "research" on wallets.dat I got, don't mean that they are the same like here, but you should check, before you try to guess the password...

at the following wallet if you compare the files in a simple way the iteration is the same.
All have: 35714

10.08    1EQjwXjyom9T35764huyriFEredLGmneVC
12.8219  19tLSCZWhX5YBVy6uX2kLheNjdUb9RBojS
22.85    19Hj5Pzi4hCj12porw97i183XYTrScbtXS
42.2445  1NKmf6GszBQ6wo349LUT4Je1csNyDDpb5Y

I'd say it very unlikely that so much wallets have the same, iteration!
Maybe this is only true for my files, but check this...

Bye

Hey, that's incredible remark!
Then it's is possible to assume that duplicate iterations are crafted fake wallets.

Code:
cat all.btc.hashes | cut -d'$' -f7 | sort | uniq -c | sort -nr
If you'll see in the result more than one instance of iteration - don't waste time on it

I will be more than happy if author of this thread will check his wallet hashes for duplicate iterations and mark them as probably fake Smiley

Thanks!

From my perspective, and wallets i have, the following are md5's of wallets with duplicate iteration numbers, in format of md5(wallet_hash). They are probably fake wallets.
Compare these with wallet hashes you have, and mark it as probably fake.

Code:
while read line; do echo -n $line | md5sum; done < all.btc.hashes

Hi
What is 35714 and what does it mean?

Iterations - part of encryption of wallet.dat
See: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/src/wallet/wallet.cpp
e.g. Line 599

See how iterations are calculated, so to have the same iteration in more wallets, possible BUT all of those?... No.

These are scam sites !! You can try to buy but if they also send a wallet.dat file it is edited by them.
The wallet.dat file that immediately loads into the "core wallet" is the scam!
I have original intact wallet.dat files that load in 2-3 hours because it checks back all transactions from Blockchain.

So what you find on these pages:
https://allprivatekeys.com/wallet.dat

https://satoshidisk.com/pay/C9LaYa

SCAM!!!

It looks like these are scams.

It's probably possible to put any transaction history you like in there and make it look like the address associated with the wallet private key has a balance, but likely the key is fake.

Not sure about all the wallets, but at least some of those floating around have dud keys that don't unlock any Bitcoins.  Oh well.  It was worth a shot.  Trying to recover a wallet with known information that belongs to someone who can't decrypt it themselves for a share of the loot is probably a far better way to use some cracking resources.
