I can agree and disagree the same time. It is good to get some money from gambling when you just plan to spend some time in casino getting fun. But if you want to get stable profit - gambling becomes a job and, like any other job, it stops to bring you positive emotions but make you work hard to get result.
The same time you can continue play with low stakes and win/lose small sums, getting pleasure from the process.

Very true mate, it is not a good idea to place on the mind. Gambling to make money can make one to take very tough decisions and it can also make one to be so desperate to gamble to make money by all means. I think the best way to go about gambling is never to take it very serious to make money. When the mind depends on something that will always give money, the minds put all attention to make sure money is being made. Instead of making the mind to know gambling is all about making money it is better to fill the mind to know that gambling is unpredictable, it is either a lose or a win. Having understanding that gambling is not all about just making money, it will really help one in making the right decision especially in making sure one maintains a good self control.

It looked off to me as well, but after weighing all points and factors together, I discovered that gambling for fun is not out of place. In practice, people gamble for money and for fun, the only distinction is that more people gamble to make money than those who gamble to have fun. I will also not blame those who are gambling for fun, they might need it, I have been in their shoe before, just to while away time or just engage in some other activities when your hobbies are no more working. I see this as no big deal and the money used should be considered as the access fee for the fun.

How much money have you made from your "gambling investments"? If you don't make consistent returns of this "investment" you shouldn't consider it as an investment. Some investments are riskier than others, but gambling is the only "investment opportunity", where the expected long term ROI is always negative. There's no way for any gambler to achieve a positive long term ROI out of gambling. I've always thought that the "gamble to make money" mentality is the fastest way to become addicted. If you think that such mentality is a good thing, good luck with this.

I always get it funny from them when I hear them say they are gambling for fun, you are gambling for fun and you keep on losing your hard earn money if you know you are not getting profit or at least see back the money you use in gambling may be in a month you keep losing and call it fun it will be better you stop wasting Money on gambling and be calling it fun, I have seen people that gambling has changed their life I have also seen people that gambling is dealing with those classes of people that seen gambling as fun are those that gambling is dealing with because they are addicted into gambling and call it fun meanwhile they keep on losing weekly.

We shouldn't seen as fun gambling is more than a fun or entertainment if you are always losing while gambling is better you quit and you should also try as much as possible to gamble with the amount of money we can afford to loss.

Even though we all expected to have personal opinion on this as for me I will always say that it is best we approach gambling in light of fun and entertainment because that way you will always at every point you will tend exercise or implement that very golden role of gambling with the amount you can afford to lose even when you are winning or Lossing, but you see anyone gambling with that concept of gambling to make money even though no one likes to loss, you are prone or vulnerable to gamble with more than what you can afford to lose at some point maybe whether you are in winning or Lossing because most of your decisions will be made completely with so much emotions attached to it, but anyone is apparently entitled to their own opinions and perceptions.
