I think that old saying that goes like never play money you can afford to lose should be used as the moto of gambling for any gambler, it clearly states that you should never gamble money you can not afford to lose and also the other meaning is do what you like with this money that you can afford to lose, it is fully up to you if you go bet max in a single bet with these money or you play with minimum bet, you should not care and try your luck and that is what it should be all, no hard feelings when you are playing extra money that you can comfortably do without. This can make everyone happy in the sense that will no create rage, sadness or any other bad emotion losing in gambling can produce for the human brain and body.

But to say that you're telling people that we're investing in gambling and we can make money with it, that's not the whole point of it. And many have failed with that thought that every deposit they make as they gamble, they lose more.
While we're on this industry, we're aware the ins and outs of it and how someone can fail or be successful with it. It all comes with a different mindset but there is a huge difference that when you deposit and call it an investment and an actual investment with the bankroll and be with the house.

Gambling with the intention of having fun only is the same thing as reducing your expectations and if you ask me this is the best way to approach the game, you can't always make profit from gambling so playing with the intention of making money at all times would be a delusional thought. Gambling is a game of luck and this is something that cannot always be predicted, it's best to just gamble for the purpose of entertainment than gambling to make a source of income, people who do this end up getting into a huge loss or In debt. Gambling can't be a way to achieve financial freedom.

Gambling is not same thing as the normal retail/wholesale trade that you know, it's not same thing as purchasing and asset and waiting for the value to increase over time. We know that there's no investment without risk but gambling is not an investment, gambling is a game that its success is determined by probability. You could win today and lose everything the next day. So, do not take gambling as real source of income.

Your thoughts on gambling are the same reason why we have so many people going bankrupt to gambling on regular basics without finding out that gambling is all about fun, someone shouldn't think it to be the way to elevate their financial status without stress and for quick money.

I've tried many times on many occasions thinking that I could make money in gambling on many different games, but I always proved to myself that you cannot make gambling an investment.This is the reason I advise new gamblers to not think that they can beat the house and that gambling is an investment; nobody has proven it, and I don't think you have a receipt or evidence that you can prove that investment in the form of gambling yielded you profit.

What you can get back from visit to the theatre? Sometimes you have to rest and gambling can be the way of the rest. In this way we don`t care about profit(but it is possible). The same time, we can use gambling for profit, but it becomes a job without emotions, positive, easy spending time for fun.

Every gamblers wishes to make profit while they gamble and one of the reason why people choose to gamble is to make money but at the same when money is just the only focus in gambling sometimes it affects one negatively. While we think of making money from the bets we play, the game should also be entertaining because this can also be of help in controlling emotions when the outcome of gambling becomes the unexpected. This isn't a bad idea at all but having such a mindset can make you become desperate thereby leading to losses. Gambling is a 50/50 thing, you can either win or lose this means that it's not certain, there's no definite outcome. So having the Intention of winning is setting up yourself for heartbreak. People who game to make money stake high so they can get high rewards, but these category of people are the ones that ends up losing the most. The best way to approach gambling is by playing for fun and entertainment, this is done by gambling moderately or staking low having zero expectations.

You really don't understand the theory behind that saying "gamble for fun and not for money" if you gamble for money it means you are seeing gambling as a source of income and since gambling is something that is never certain it can't be seen a source of income, the theory behind that saying of gambling for fun is that don't put all your hope in winning a gamble or game you predicted, some people have dead in the cause of putting there hope in bet and the reason for that is because they gamble with the intention of making money but if you gamble for fun which means not gambling with the full hope of your prediction playing as predicted then you won't need to have high blood pressure which may lead to death, gambling for fun those not mean you won't also make money.
There was a man that dead because his prediction did not play as predicted, and he used his life savings to place the bet with full hope that it will play as predicted, he planned on using the money when it play as predicted to buy house, car and other things but it failed him and that is because he gambled to make money and not for fun.

I think you are at least partly right, especially in the fact that there are many people with few resources who put their hopes in gambling as a way out of their painful situation. On the other hand, if you are well off, you can go to the casino from time to time, gamble, and if you win good money, fine, but if you lose what you bet, it doesn't affect you financially. This is not counting the people who have money and gamble too much or develop an addiction, but I think this is generally the case.

In all honesty, gamblers do not just gamble for entertainment alone, but they're up to multiply their money throughout the gambling process. That's the reason why losers do not just easily stop gambling, but instead they chase their losses hoping to recover their losses and make even more money.
However, we all know gambling shouldn't be like that. It is made to entertain us, but it seems gamblers get only entertained if they are also making a good amount. Even myself I would attest to that.

Those who gamble only for fun and who don't care about their gambling losses can still be happy after gambling at the end of the day because even though they deposited money there, their main intention was to have fun, so even if they lose their deposit money, they have no regrets about it. no But if one gambles to multiply his money then he loses his money and is always unhappy. Just think of 'gamble for fun and not a way of making money' as something like an idiom. It means you should be careful of your money while gambling. It means you should gamble responsibly. It means you should not look for money while gambling as it draws most gamblers into gambling addiction.
No matter how much different gambler try to paint or mask the whole thing gambler's all have the intention of making money. Different gamblers often discuss about gambling for form which is very feasible however in all the intention to win is also backed up meaning there is also the need to make money from it. The thing is some gamblers don't actually take gambling as just a fun activity rather they take it too seriously and that is where addiction sometimes comes into play. I think the idea of tagging gambling a fun activity is in order not to take it too serious so that we don't develop bad habits that's may lead to addiction or worse.

Basically gambling is a way or means for entertainment, and I see many people who gamble just for their entertainment, and this is one of the self-treatments they say. Even so, I agree with the point of view that gambling is to make money as you mentioned, but there needs to be an awareness that gambling is about luck, and the risk is quite large and depends on the amount of money that will be used for gambling, if the amount is large then the risk obtained is also large, and not only in financial risk, there is also a psychological risk which can make people fall into addiction. So, the point is a wisdom if you gamble for entertainment only, and if you do it to get profit, then there needs to be self-limitation, and responsible for what we do. Maybe it is seen as a business for you and not to many others. It's not everything you spend your hard earned money that should be seen as a business. By your explanation, you going to club partying should be seen as a business to you, because you are going there to spend your hard earned money, and you should expect some profits. Not everyone sees gambling as an investment, besides gambling is not an investment. From experience I win bets more when I see gamble for fun/leisure and not something that should give me profits. Any week I decided to gamble to make money from it, I usually end up losing all my bets. But whenever I just decide to gamble for fun, I usually win, because I won't be too careful trying to analyse games. I usually pick games randomly irrespective of their big odds and most times I do win them. If you are looking for investments to making profits gambling shouldn't be your number one business option. Gambling is only business for the casino owners and not the gamblers. How can you think like that? How are you sure you can get the same or greater profit than what you deposit?
I agree gambling is currently not considered a fun activity. More gamblers come to play to make money. But not by considering it as an investment.
Many people suggest gambling with limited money that we can afford when we lose it. Meaning you have an allocation that you have calculated correctly regarding income and expenses.
