Upon all the threads and discussions on gambling here I. The forum most people don't understand gambling yet. And all some can say is gamble what you can afford to lose, it is it is good to gamble the amount you can afford to lose but the content of the Op is different from what you guys are saying. Like example, you go to hustle for the day and probably bricklayer work and you were paid of the day job. And you come to the online casinos and use them to gamble and you tell me that it is for fun. Whether you are responsible gambler or not that is not a fun but for profit. The person came to the casino to look for more money so he can use to solve some issues. And that is where the risk is involved. As I have said time without number, I will not spend money on gambling and someone will come and tell me that it is for fun. If I want funs, I will go to parks and have funs and play around and not using money on casinos. Once I spend money then I will definitely want to win back the deposit.

You have to learn how to separate the two. It's that separation that makes it possible to control spending money after all. I mean I would 100% spend money on investments but for entertainment? Every now and then as well as a part of what I actually earn. Around 5% ish, maybe up to 10% if I really wanted something. If you really thought of gambling as an investment then I guess it's "justifiable" to spend money on it, so you do you I guess.

You're right of course anything that requires puting our money in it isn't supposed to be taken for granted because it took you a lot of time before you could get the money, had it been the money is coming freely without you stressing yourself it would've been a different case. but for you to get the money you still need to undergo some processes/ task before you can get the money, However gambling can be seen as part of fun and entertainment in the other way round it can be seen as something that will be beneficial. because most of the wealthy people you see today it was through gambling that made them to become who they're today, what I'm trying to say in essence is that if you're gambling for profit making don't forget to apply self control is very important.

It is very risky to treat gambling same way you treat other forms of investment or assets. In all forms of investments and businesses, although it may be risky sometimes but hardwork, consistent and some physical and financial efforts will guarantee profits. Making profits from investments are very predictable as long as you have the right knowledge about the investment and you know what you are doing. Gambling is totally about luck and it's unpredictable, how do you invest so much amount of money on something that is totally unpredictable?

Even though gambling comes with some financial benefits, people should still approach it with caution because of its unpredictable nature. Many are already in deep mess because they they took gambling too seriously. Gambling is risky, so people should mind how they gamble.

In fact 99% gamblers do gambling for money, fun is just a small part of the whole gambling activity and I can even say that there is no one who is gambling purely for fun without any intention to make money.
When there is statement or argument that someone is gambling for fun only, there are only 2 possibilities; 1st is that this person lying to himself and 2nd is that this person try to help himself control his gambling habit so it wont lead to bad effect.
But I cant fully agree with "dont gambling with intention of having fun" because when we can have fun at all while gambling, it will lead us into bigger possibility of addiction.
For me, it is fine to gamble for money because it is what is gambling for but we should also able to feel the fun while doing it.

nope I disagree with you most of the rich people have made their money through gambling which is not right at all. Rich people have got to their position through their hard work and perseverance. Most of the gambling will not let you get rich because the developers use their strategies and do not let the gamblers win. I think gambling is a mental peace and through it you can get entertainment and sometimes it is impressive to win which makes you tempted again. The number of people who get rich through gambling is very insignificant whose luck is too good and they mostly think of luck as the hero in their strategy.

Yes if you can think that you can prepare yourself by gambling with huge risk and money then you may be successful but it is controlled by luck like winning the jackpot. But I am the majority of gamblers who fail to plan their own plan with their money because they get addicted to the hope of winning and lose huge money.

In general, I don't think so, because investments are instruments that are more likely to bring profit, and the risks in them are manageable, and you can gain positive experience that will be used in future investments. And casinos and betting are just entertainment, from which you can't expect profit.

I believe, contrary to your opinion, that if someone has already come to gambling, then he should say goodbye to every dollar that he sent to the casino deposit, and not count on winning.

For me there's nothing wrong if we aim to win some profits on gambling, since without this intention for sure that we will never do any good actions like finding suitable strategy that can help us to win. Also its pointless for not aiming to win some and just totally enjoy since its like we have no goal to reach and just wasting money on those gambling sites. Its just we need to have good discipline to avoid getting into trouble and can make sure that we can easily quit when we feel that luck is not on our side today, also we can go out once we are winning enough to secure our profits.

But if they really think gambling is investment then they are not doing anything good there since there expectation is wrong about gambling.

I hope you realize that people who see gambling as a way to make money are a lot more prone to gamblign addiction than people who see gambling as a way of entertainement. believe it or not there are people who spend money they can afford to lose on something they like without expecting of "return of investment". also, treating gambling as an "investment venture" is one of the fastest way ot lose money and it is a dangerous mindset to have towards gambling.

Gambling and having fun in my understanding, they are different words but one goal is (money) meaning: someone will be happy and can have fun based on having money, gambling will have fun because they will get money and win in gambling bets, in fact no one will have fun without money.

Many of us aim to gamble to have fun and get double the money, there is no other goal, many people use savings, loans or sell their objects for the purpose of being able to win and double the money, so having fun is money.

This is because you will think you are investing and when you keep on losing, you wouldn't want to give up on chasing your losses. Yes, gambling is something that we can use to pleasure in our spare time. But we don't have to try to makes money and only enjoy our time in gambling so we don't lose too much money. But if you have the intention to make money, you needs to realize that will not easy for you especially many people already lose their money.

It is better you use your money to invest in something that can gives you profit in the future such as Bitcoin instead use that money to playing gambling. Playing gambling needs to use enough money that we can afford to lose so we will not more money to gambling especially if we already lost.

Do you really think that gambling is an investment? I'd never considered this as an investment other than you, OP. I'm sorry, but to tell you that you are wrong.
