As for me i love long term holding of any type of altcoin or coins that are in my possession example is Bitcoin, in 2016 i hold some bitcoin which i kept in my wallet till 2017 December, that singular holding of that bitcoin makes me a big person i am today as the market went bull as at then. When i was with some portion of Ethereum, i hold and i make huge profits at the end...i love long-term holding of any coins
Perhaps this year there will be no such growth. However, in order to significantly increase your profit, it is advisable to at least partially sell bitcoin when it becomes much more expensive, and then buy it with a significant drop.
Now is the good time to fill our portfolio with altcoins while bitcoin is losing its value therefore many alts will continue to go down too. But not diversifying portfolio is not a good choice and buying bitcoin can also pay you back big time when it hit its ATH again.
Yes I think you are correct. Personally I don't like long-term investments such as bitcoin. Buy some altcoins from ICO or exchange when listing and hold them some time is more profitable.
Hold altcoins very dangerous. You can see when crypto market is red, almost altcoins decrease very fast. Although sometime other altcoin investments are more profitable than bitcoin, this is only temporary. In the future, the king will always be bitcoin, leader of the crypto market

I think very good if we want hold ethereum or litecoin for now at blood bath market..for eth and ltc i think will never die price at market. It was have popular name of coin it some market..just stay and hold untill bitcoin price will back grow up and and altocoin follow it.for now bitcoin price very not stable

After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.

Agree. In this cryptocurrency endeavor bitcoin is still the best coin to hold because its value are always leading in the market and we had already experienced great achievements through holding bitcoin for a long time.

I also try to teach people the same thing and that is to invest in Bitcoin but after investing in bitcoin please do not make those stupid mistakes as they will make your money to grow slower. You should side by side invest your money into alts which will make your bitcoins invested also which in turn provide you with more yield. I think holding the bitcoin for a long time is a good thing. But you should sell them when their value is higher than the initial value you invested in them.
Well i think you have your reasons and experience for not wanting to hold btc for long but to my opinion holding btc is good because it is one of the most accepted coin,which means it value and potential will gradually rise
