I do have the same experience before, the project is really good that time, at the very first day, all tokens were sold, it has a small amount of total supply, and the value of the token is high, but since it is a good project and many people supports the project, they sold all their tokens, but after listing, all people wants to dump their token because they do have the same amount of discount when we bought the token.

Many ICO give up to 50% discount in the pre-sale. An investor participating in the pre-sale ( in this case), technically obtained free tokens that is, the 50% bonus. Now it does not matter for an investor if the listing price is much less than the ICO price as long as they got bonus--resulting in the dumping. It is rather unfortunate ICOs end up dropping in price after listing. In order to get the best of good ICOs, one thing you must do is to exercise a lot of patience and give it a long term goal. Most coins experience corrections in price after listing on the market with quite a good pump, however, not nearing the ICO price. ICOs are to be considered as long term investment.
Most of the bounty project and ICO's this year are changing their token allocation. Some of them are to late to be listed, i have 2 token that drops almost 80% of the total allocation. And until now they have no exchange on the market.
Maybe investor are making ico price is drop after listing on exchange market or maybe their ico team make its drop, we know ico have alocation about 40% for their ico team, maybe they have sell their coin after listing on exchange market.
So, those who join bounty campaigns are losing when the token price goes down after ico. Each participant must pay ethereum or bitcoin to no further problem.

After the token hit the exchange it would come to the law of supply and demand. Of course if there are many that would sell their tokens even though it is a good project, the possibility of the price of the token to drop is high since there is much supply and no buyers. ICO should do some buy back to maintain the price of their token if they want to.

At times like this, you have to be as quick as possible. You have to sell off first before some other bounty hunters. Just what I've did to OPEN after I received all my tokens, I sold everything at 277 sats thinking to buy back at at least 200 sats.
There are simply projects that overestimate their product, resulting in a lower price after listing!
From my experience that when a new coin entry in list exchanges will definitely go down. Many attendees of bounty trying to sell coins. So when the new coin entry in Exchange usually is definitely healthy. And if you want to take advantage of the much better you keep hold of the coins. Because the price of coins will certainly go up again and you have to be patient to wait.

There is no mystery in this matter. Tokens are sold by a team, advisors, partners, participants of private sale and pre-sale. Bounty hunters have nothing to do with it.
Though there are so many unworthy ICO around now that are only interested in investors capital But the major reasons behind the fall in price below ICO price after listing is majorly from the early dumpers of the coins coming from those that receives the coins freely from airdrops and bounty campaigns.
The other reasons might be of the exchanges the coins are listed, majority of these exchanges are easily manipulated and low in volume.

Because they can't build a very good momentum and at least you must try to attract the newcomers through paid the major exchange site to listing their token. The majority of them never try to think about that. you can see that how the major project that based on ico paid the major exchange to listing its coin to get a lot of return on the price
i think its natural, because the develop of the project still running but they already listed on any exchanger, so it make dumping price for the token.

i think it's totally normal in a bear market and i noticed that too most icos issued in this period are trading below ico price although i don't think that goes for investors from private sales who for the most projects get a high discount on their tokens or coins but to the general sale people are under water but the principles remain the same if you believe in the project and think they have a product that can have a decent future you have nothing to worry about prices will rise again in due time

Because sometimes you have to have many plans to be able to respond to events like that. The concept of a good ICO, competent team, and HYPE is not necessarily able to succeed in running ICO because it depends on their own community. I lose money in investing to ICO because there once an ICO where the developer runs the money the got from that business. We believe the project will boom because they are active on their project but sad to tell they actually run our money after the period of reaching the hard cap. Now I still invest in ICO but to only few where I invest only the money which I think I can afford to lose. I will not focus on it. As a rule, after listing on the exchange, the price of coins drops, many try to sell, especially bounty campaign participants. I think it's not worth worrying about this, if the project is promising, then the price will eventually grow
i can see now ICO pay lesser and lesser to bounty hunters, i guess developer want prevent this from happening. too much people holding during ICO is not a good move as well. many wil try sell the coin off and resulting coin loss value.
best case scenario for an ICO is that it only has a good idea or "concept" in it and nothing else. and that means it fails in real world to gain any kind of traction and goes down as it is abandoned. and that is best case. normal cases for ICOs is the fact that they are only pump and dump shitcoins with no usage. they are created with hype in mind and hype is not something that can last. you can see the biggest one of them which is ethereum is eventually getting dumped.
