If allowed everywhere weapons and drugs, then the world will come to an end. Clearly the world is very dangerous for a normal person.

There is nothing in common between drugs and weapons. Also, the world has not come to an end in Portugal and Uruguay, despite the legalization of drugs. On the other hand, the incidence of violence is the most in those countries where even soft-drugs are illegal.
That's not true. Where there is drugs there is always crime and chaos. Any drug is addictive. What little alcohol addicted people? You acknowledge add to them and drug addicts? No, I am against legalization of any drugs.

There is crime and chaos where illegal drugs obtain, not drugs.

Alcohol was once illegal, remember prohibition and all the mafia bosses smuggling liquor?

Crime and guns have nothing to do with drugs, but with them being forbidden.

Their harmful effects are another thing.
Not true! Marijuana carries the same harm as tobacco and easy and everything else. Also causes exactly the same addictive as tobacco. Only after Smoking it affects consciousness, and therefore more harmful.

How we define what is a drug and what isn't is very... weird.
For example, tobacco creates physical addiction, it creates lung, throat and tongue cancer, millions die because of cigarettes and they're legal and widely considered 'normal' and something that isnt' a drug, while marijuana doesn't kill, doesn't create physical addiction and it's considered a drug by some.
Alcohol kills people, it makes you stutter, you can't walk if you drink too much, you sit behind the wheel and you kill someone, millions died because of this, not mentioning other long term effects of overdrinking and it's also considered normal and not a drug.

To sum up my point, 'drugs' are a social construct we shape as we want, narrow minded people think something is bad just because it's illegal avoiding to objectively and critically think about any of those 'drugs', I believe only drugs that cause physical addiction should be forbidden including cigarettes, however this is an impossible dream..
People are dumb and they will continue to poison themselves, so fuck it, it's their own body, let them do whatever the hell they want to do..

Drug free in the Philippines i think will be totally difficult to do because even when the government try to eradicate it 100%but it tune out to be like 80% because most group of people are already get their self use to drugs so we see that when the government is trying to stop it drugs some people are thinking of how to their self drug up.
Drugs more evil. However, it seems to me that if the state allows for their distribution on such a scale, it means that the state itself is interested in it. To control dependent people always easy.

We all know that our President is doing all what he can to kill this drug addiction problem here in our country because it is the major cause of most incidents or crimes that is happening in our mother country. With the help of Major Bato Dela Rosa, this drug campaign is doing god and most of the drug users and drug lords here in our country has been already caught, hoping that no one ever uses prohibited drugs anymore for the sake of our country and for it's citizens future.

Well prohibited drugs will not cease away and the Philippines is far from being called a drug free country. Even with hard efforts from policemen, community and government sector drugs will not be killed because addiction will not stop if addicts are still alive. But the thing we can hope for is if not eradicated it will be lessened and that is the reality today drug addicts and trafficking have been lessened with the new Presidents efforts.

why would they catch drug users too,if drugs is illegal in your country then we can understand when drug lords are arrested for the crimes and one more thing is who is prohibiting these drugs,if i want to have something for my pleasure i must have the freedom to do so if i am not creating any public nuisance.

Indeed and compare it to Portugal which decriminalized drugs, and the results were surprising, because drug usage in fact falls dramatically when it's legal. It seems humans really have a crave for something illegal.

If the drugs are legalized, then the scope for the drug cartels evaporate. Actually, it is the drug cartels which encourage or force young people to use hard drugs such as heroin and cocaine. Without their presence, the usage is going to decline.
Legal drugs can only be light. It can be assumed with a strict control of the state. Otherwise simply can not be.

There is no need to legalize the hard drugs. If soft-drugs such as cannabis and peyote are legalized, then no one will seek hard drugs such as heroin and meth. The soft-drug trade can be nationalized, and this will bring additional revenues for the state.

But Portugal legalized the use of heroin and the results were positive meaning the number of heroin users dropped substantially plus HIV infection was also indirectly addressed because the procedure was done in a government sanctioned clinics and the heroin user is monitored by doctors during the whole session to avoid being overdose and syringes to be contaminated.

That's right. But at the same time, unlike the soft-drugs, heroin causes severe damage to the health. I don't understand why Portugal allowed drug users to inject heroin, when its orally administered substitute (methadone) is widely available. If someone want to take heroin, then it is his choice. But the government must educate him about the harmful side-effects.

In Holland for example is very active use of drugs and nothing for the people it is not. Liberal laws. Of course, not everything is permitted, but nevertheless it is a fact.

This on-going drug war by the government of the Philippines is bound to fail, simply because you can not prevent crime by killing and creating another crime. They should learn what happened to other countries who did launch a war on drugs but miserably fail.

That's true. I'm wondering why no one ever wants to learn from the past mistakes? Any war calls for another war and there is no end to this. The only solution is a civilized method to deal with it: do not punish the drug users and find an effective way to explain to others how bad drugs are for them.

I agree 100% with your post. Look at the Mexican drug war. It has been going on for many years now, and despite costing hundreds of billions of USD and more than 100,000 deaths, there is no end in sight. The war has also spread to the neighboring countries such as Guatemala and El Salvador.

That's what I'm arguing with many people who are supporting this kind of policies, it will never be effective and it will just create more criminals, the best thing the government can do here is to educate its people, follow the law and be an example.

Drugged brains sleep. If brains sleep, politic leaders do what they want to do...
Forever brains will not sleep. Sooner or later all dictators end up the same. Lately I see that the brains of sleeping in a large number of people in different countries. Even countries such as the United States and Britain are affected by this problem.
