Where is the Philippine government going to get money for free drugs? It is a lie with which they try to distract people from the lawlessness that is happening in the country.
Our president has a sponsor to fight the people who are involved in drugs and as you can see there are always an witness you willingly give the all information he knows about the illegal drugs happening in philippines duterte is a really great president so far and he don't need to distract people Smiley

The President of the Philippines is trying to establish strict dictatorial regime. I think that this will not lead to the fact that something happens. I think that soon there will be civil war.

I'm sure that this experiment with inhabitants of the Philippines will fail. Such methods of reform fail. I will be the first residents of that state. However, this is their payback for the power of choice.

Now in the world there is a growing tendency toward populist movements. People want to change the rules of life. Now come to power leaders-populists and nothing changes. Soon will start the revolution.

He can do it if people will cooperate specially those who have positions in the Government...the problem is that a lot of Government officials are  protectors of Drug Lord so it will be hard for the President to pursue it.
How would it not sound cynical, but the drug trade brings in more income to the state. What Philippines will trade? And without the inflow of foreign currency into the country, its activity will be problematic.
The drugs is illegal in our country and the government cannot gain income from the drugs the drugs lords ,dealers are gaining income from the drugs.
We are not talking about the official drug trafficking. Not even the official drug trade contributes to influx of foreign currency into the country. The proceeds from the sale of drugs money work for the economy of the country where they arrive.

I don't think philippine country will be one hundred percent drug free no one can stop drugs for now just like population, but the president is really good because he did something great, filipinos are now more disciplined. I cannot wait next year , next next year what will happen in the philippines. I hope every corrupt official will be kicked out also in customs. Mr president should include that too and also other illegal activities in the philippines

Let us be positive about this. The government are also putting mentally to the next generation that the drugs must stop at all cost, so in the future if Duterte finished his term, the war on drug will still  continue.

You need to understand why people use drugs. People resort to drugs, to substitute them for painkillers and alcohol. Sometimes, it is an avenue for them to escape from despair and hopelessness. If drugs such as meth are not available, then people will start using some other homemade drug. And in most cases, these new drugs will be even more dangerous than the old ones.

That is right the drug addict choose to take illegal drugs, that is why they are not the victims in this situation. The real victims are victims of the crime of the drug addict. I also against of the rehabilitation, they must recover on their own. They just put the budget to improve the hospital here so that the people who are sick can avail the tax of the people. Not the drug addict who are criminals.

Dead drug dealer and a junkie can not sell or do drugs.

So if there are 100,000 drug dealers and 2 million junkies in Philippines, you are going to kill all of them? Even if you do that, it will be of no use. Every year, new users get addicted to various soft and hard drugs. These 2 million will be replaced in a short time span.
Yeah that tactics is neutralize the drug lords ,protector and suppliers of them. And in my opinion if Duterte finished his term the drug dealers and drug lords they do it again their business.

The drug war in the Philippines is not human methods. This can lead to a civil war which will sponsor the drug lords. And still do not know who will win. But there will be many casualties.
What about the people killed by the person that influence in drugs and what about the people that their life ruined by the drugs. And for clarification drug war cant lead to the civil war because they are more people in the Philippines in our country is favored into the drugs on war.

That is not exactly what this thread is all about, op is somehow trying to explain it on a positive point of view. There are some comments came to argue about this aspect on the previous pages.

I think that very soon reforms in the Philippines over. The government is not only struggling against the drug crazy methods, but promise that will never do. The deprivation of such an ally as the United States also adds hope.

Duterte is lucky. Trump is not hostile towards him. On the other hand, had Hitlery won the POTUS elections, then Duterte would have been in a very weak position by now. Anyway, now he must attempt to mend the US-Filipino relations, which worsened as a result of his verbal spat with the former American president Barack Obama.
I believe that the President of the Philippines does not deserve to America with him to build relationships. The person who made such statements against the President of another country has no right to forgiveness.

I admire Duterte's war against drug. But let's get real, he might reduce the drug deals, labs and everything related into it but still Philippines will not be drug free.
There are still some drug user's who are don't stop using drug and dealing with drug lords they don't care if they get killed in the philippines those policeman are too lazy to protect filipino people who need protection last week my friend hold up and they took all his item and bag.

Yes you are right stay positive because we are all in the winning side th media knows how to do it. Its now or never. We want our country to be a 1st world country but it is very hard to do it. Because the media is decide how to do it. Duterte open the secret of media and it is still on the air.
