last time this coin was dead..the price was .0008 to .0014 (now .003 to .002) and hash rate was 30 to 50 KH (now ~ 250KH)..
DSH network is alive, you can mine, send, receive and trade even it is still version 1.0.3 ... updates can happen anytime, so...
i say this coin is still far from dead

1. papa_lazzarou and kushedout are the guys organizing it. Both are active under their own nicks. I guess they only log into the DashcoinInfo one when necessary to update the OP or post announcements.
2. This coin gets all of its development from BCN since it is a pure clone (with the exception of the decimal point move I guess) except with a public launch so no actual "dev" is needed as long as someone keeps up with he merging of changes.

i think buying through mining is what is happening, DSH hashrate is really high for the current price. DSH is ~500kh compared back then at ~50kh.

I made 50 transactions on Poloniex. None of them came . What is the problem?
Minergate and the unknown entities mining 95% of all blocks are confirming only transactions with minimum fee of 0,001 DSH (10 old DSH) and with size smaller than 19400 bytes. You can reset your wallet and resend with '-f 0,001'. I use Forknote for my Dashcoin wallet, because it has this and more big issues fixed.

to have a BTC market, dashcoin community decided to reduce the amount of coins. if you are using the old wallet you still can see the extra zeros.
since you are mining maybe your wallet must have accumulated a lot of dust(small amount of coins in many transactions), try sending smaller amounts.
i have wallet 1.1 is it the updated one and there is no way to get all the 1.000.000 mine ?
I am not sure I understand everything you wrote, but the reduced number of coins is just apparent. There are still the same number of units in the final emission. This gave us the possibility of being traded in BTC market. Your coins have the same value as before the divide. Get the latest wallet from dascoin.info
