Oh poor OP with literally no idea how crypto economy works.
But i have to admit that it was amusing to read.
Quote my words for future. Litecoin will hit 50 $ within a year or in worst case 2 years.

This.

We are talking about money = storage of wealth (not currency).

All that matters is SECURITY and LIQUIDITY to someone with real money.

The scrypt ASICs will just keep rolling off the assembly lines in China by the 1000s...
And a HUGE sub-niche of secure, merge mined scrypt coins will emerge.

90% of the 2014 alts will disappear (especially anon), just like the 2013 crop.

LTC close to $3 range.

A nut is STILL saying LTC will succeed. Why don't you prove your balance?

LTC at $3 range. If it bounces back, how much will it be?

Answer -- $5 range.

I agree with your statement-if you hold any of these coins it'd be a good idea to sell them.As we can see the altcoin market is experiencing hard times and this applies with full force to the scrypt coins.I personally probably won't buy any altcoin from now on.

I'll take BTC over any Scrypt coin any day of the week!

Scrypt coins are just a cheap imitation of Bitcoin and don't bring anything new to cryptos besides silly gimmicks or memes.

The future is clearly Bitcoin plus a number of groundbreaking next gen cryptos (Etherium, Stellar, NXT for example).

Basically, if the coin is running a QT wallet that looks just like Bitcoin except the dev changed some images and text strings, it is going to die, period.

NXT is a premined scam. Can you tell how much is it in circulation?

Also a fork doesn't mean the coin's rubbish.

The existing staoshi wallet can be modified to do wonders and it's stupid to create a fresh wallet from scratch if the basic principles are the same.

Basically we need new and useful features.

There's just no point. Any new algorithm that gets ASICs or FPGAs will just die off, and a new algo will take over. There's even talk of X11 FPGAs out in the wild, for heaven's sake.

Bitcoin is the exception because it was the first, and it's just too big to be able to change. I remember there being a talk about what forking Bitcoin would be like, and it wasn't pretty.

LTC and BTC both looking really bad right now.  BTC has to be a bit more concerning, as there was no real 'significant' news unlike the last dip after the Gox scandal.  Could alts in general be doomed for a short/long term collapse?  Very possible.

BTC up by 5+%. But it was doomed by yesterday.

But LTC up by 0.39% and is still at $4 range.

Yeah, the BTC market dips by 5% and people start claiming BTC is going to die.

Typical signs of inexperience. It didn't die when the prices halved in 2 days, why will it die now?

By contrast LTC is crashing everyday continuously.

BTW all altcoins claim they're the 'next BTC'.

Now I get why sone exchanges are interested in  developing coins like iXcoin.
iXcoin IXC : a 3 years time tested coin, like Bitcoin, ending mining on Oct 2014: it will be interesting to see what happens

That's just another altcoin with loudmouth marketing.

Oh, and you maybe interested in my other predictions.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/howto-kill-any-100-pos-coins-owning-less-than-1-of-all-coins-604716

PoS has no future. Neither do any PoS coins. Oh, and those premined coins are actually scams. The dev has released only a small % of coins, so their prices and market capital are inflated.

PPC will fail cause of bad economics and security.

LTC at $5 range.

Now where are the Litecoin holders and supporters? I suggest they buy their pants out now it's the right time... that way the sellers become rich while they can.
