Of course in a very good way, if we get big wins from gambling, we have to enjoy the results by going on vacation or buying something expensive so it's not in vain.
because otherwise the money will just run out and many have experienced that most people who win from gambling are out of shape or don't enjoy it, so buying something expensive or investing is a great way. And if later we want to start again, start again without using the winnings we got before and this is a smart gambler.
That's right, that means we can enjoy the victory's results properly. What's important is that we can use the winnings instead of even using the winning money to gamble again, where we don't know what the results will be. Or we can set aside a small portion of the winning money to gamble so that the money can be added to our gambling capital. That will allow us to gamble longer, and maybe it can give us another win. But what is clear is that we must be able to regulate gambling so that we can easily get out or stop gambling at any time.

Quitting gambling can be a difficult decision for active gamblers especially when they have just made a lot of money. It is very difficult to control desire when the urge to play has grown, this is the same as active smokers or alcoholics, they will feel uneasy before their desire is channeled.
Few people are able to control themselves to quit a habit that has become a routine in their life. Some people gamble not only because of the prospect of winning, there are many motivations for the habits they often do, one of which is because they are buying entertainment for themselves after doing boring activities elsewhere.
Every day, we make decisions, and when it comes to gambling, we need to make sure we're on an appropriate course. It diminishes the majority of our decisions; we would establish principles and disciplinary measures, and we would be the ones who would be adamant about them and quickly break them without hesitation. Quitting gambling is never an easy exertion; it usually takes a month or even years for one to truly see and accept the fact that he or she is an addict; if they do not admit the fact on time, they will suffer financial instability and significant financial harm.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
the word Quitting stands for two things , to quit aiming to become rich and enjoy gambling , or to continue seek more winning after that luckiest day of life.

it is hypocrite to say that I will completely leave gambling after the win because that memory will always cling in my mind to try or bet again so nope , I will not abandoned gambling but I will put limit time and money each gambling day.
Agree with you because usually, after we get a big win, we will stop gambling while enjoying the results. But our memories will keep returning to that victory so that it makes us want to do it again, and eventually, we return to gambling because we want to win again. And if anyone can stop gambling after getting a win, he should feel grateful because he can earn a lot of money to make ends meet and change his life for the better. But this rarely happens with gambling winners because many keep returning to gambling.
and there is no such thing as completely vanishing from gambling after winning that huge , because indeed that the memories will keep whispering about our luck and will keep looking for it in the future.
yeah maybe in 1-2 months we will hid from our desires but eventually as days passes by, we will come back and gamble once again.

Things that are really hard to control,
And addiction in gambling is one thing that's hard to control. So, kudos to those that were able to overcome it and are doing fine right now.

basically when you already feel that pressure to quit better to follow that desire, and never to look
back.
Sometimes it remains a feeling because without further action, that's going to remain as a feeling and you'll never get out of it.
They may say that it's easy and they're able to quit because they've done a lot of things. And that's what everyone must do.
When you're going to pressure and push yourself to quit, just do everything what it takes.

But in most cases gamblers will find themselves getting greedier when they hit a big win. Some of them didn't have the chance to enjoy their winnings by going on vacation or buying something, but all those winnings were being used up because of the desire to win something bigger.

I truly believe that this type of gambler will find it very difficult to quit even if they are deep in debt. They are all gambling to get a big win, whereas they will not get out before their target is reached. It was the wrong mindset, but they would only regret it after all their winnings had been burned up by greed.
And there are countless examples of this, basically what can be a bigger win that winning the lottery and receiving a massive prize money? It is easy to imagine that someone which was looking for a big win will finally call it quits once they were lucky enough to win the lottery, but in many cases this is not the case, and instead those people not only keep gambling but now they begin to spend their fortune in all kind of useless luxuries, only to find themselves eventually facing financial ruin.

It is true that we as good human beings also need some fun, but sometimes it is difficult because many do not know healthy fun and that includes being able to control emotions and performing many functions, including putting everything on a scale, not go crazy, and control impulses above all, when we play we have many impulses and that is what leads us to make bad decisions.

If we had the coldness of a robot to manage our own emotions, we would be very advanced beings and with many things that we can achieve, but it is difficult, very difficult to control emotions, and even though it is something we can do ourselves, we get into our minds that we are invincible when we play and that is when we lose the most money.
Yeah, but sadly we aren't robots capable of controlling our emotions. I believe it's quite hard for a human being to achieve complete control over their emotions. Quitting gambling can be an extremely difficult decision for someone who has been gambling for years, but it may not be as hard for someone who only gambles casually and in moderation. To be honest, I don't plan to give up gambling because it brings me joy and I genuinely enjoy doing it with my friends from time to time. It never negatively affects me because I know how to control myself and rarely exceed my limits. Even when I do, I don't regret it.
When we experience loss we'll decide not to gamble anymore, soon after that our mind will think why don't we just wager a little. We'll experience little win and increase the capital. Now we start to gamble regularly and at some point we don't have control and want to make specific amount out of gambling. We run behind the target and in between we won't be able to achieve it. Our mind doesn't accept it and we will be with positive thoughts and borrow to gamble. Now the risk is big and this continues, so when you prefer to stop gambling you should not think of it anymore.

Situation like this is very common, you experienced the fun of playing and winning and you wanted to keep repeating it, thinking that you already find the best strategy that will help you to win more, but when you start to experienced the losses and you are unable to accept that there's no real strategy that will work to keep you earn from each bets.

Then this un-expected things will come out of your mind, lending or borrowing to that you'll going to sell your personal belonging just to continue pleasing your gambling desire.

Things that are really hard to control, basically when you already feel that pressure to quit better to follow that desire, and never to look
back.

Exactly, when you keep thinking about gambling it turns out to be you are somehow addicted to the casino games. Logically, as an addicted gambler you gonna deposit and play more while there are other important things in life to do. Quitting gambling is not easy for an addicted person, there are many variables gamblers should take into consideration before deciding to quit it completely but as you explained once you decide to do so better not to rethink gambling and its consequences, IMO. Just decide what you wanna do and follow this path with help from a professional psychologist.

It is the uncontrollable urge to gamble that keeps a person depositing and gamble.  Even if the money  is for the monthly budget or payment for bills, a gambling addict will use it just to satisfy that urge.  Since gambling addict use the money they cannot afford to lose, they will then chase losses and continue gambling just to recover the lost amount.  This is when they are trapped in a loop.  Trying to win back the money but keep losing more.

A player is lucky when he realized that he is addicted to gambling and seeks the help of a professional psychologist and therapist since many tends to deny it and continue their gambling addiction until their life is in ruins.

On the time that you do see yourself that you are on almost addiction then it would really be just that wise that you should be distracting yourself on engaging on things which it would divert out your interest on gambling.
You could actually do it if you are really that meant on doing so.It is really just that a matter of self discipline and control towards self. Addiction wont really be that possible or could hit you up if you are really
that sensible on what are the things that are currently happening into you.The most common mistake for most people is that they do tolerate out that kind of eagerness on playing gambling without minding
about the probabilities on getting addicted. Majority of people would only stop on the time that they would really be experiencing unfortunate events which it is really supposed to be avoided
it earlier if we are really just that mindful about on whats happening around.  Hard to quit? It would really be just depending on you because not all would really be that good when it comes to make up decisions
even if they wanted to.

The human tendency to be swayed by the spasms of emotion is a real danger that can cause us to make hasty choices. We'd all like to be in charge of our feelings, but that's easier said than done

However, pausing to consider the sources of our negative emotions can help us realize that we have more control than we give ourselves credit for. Our acts are like ripples on a pond; they only show the surface impact of our true feelings. Maybe we shouldn't strive for the emotionlessness of a robot, but rather try to comprehend these feelings

Your description of the feeling of "invincibility" we get when playing piques my interest. Many people feel this way, yet the reality of death always breaks their hearts. The goal is not to eradicate these emotions, but to prevent us from being blinded by them when making decisions. It's possible that this strategy will yield better results than cold heartlessness

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

To be honest here the best idea is to either quit or pause and give some space to make a good achievement with the money before going back to gambling because if care is not taken, the money won will gradually returned back to where it came from if the gambler continue making attempts the more to have a second chance experience in winining that kind of amount, that's why you could sometimes discover that some make a win and later turned a failure because they can't give an accurate of how they utilize the money than on gambling.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?

I have seen a similar question before but it was about crypto and not gambling and in all of the responses that were commented on that thread, a guy replied that if you made such everlasting money to quit, why not make the money and continue instead of quilting but don't put back the money where you got it, rather it should be used for another business and that is what I have seen Punters do when they make millions from gambling. Anytime they make money from gambling, they divert it to another business and still maintain their gambling and they don't miss the two money together, each of them are independent of each other and trust me, must of them now have more than 2-3 businness they have and still gambling with improve skills.

I agree, we do sometimes get into a particular mindset of being invincible because we manage to convince ourselves of that fact by manipulating ourselves emotionally. But that again only goes to show that no matter how faultless and amazing we human beings think ourselves to be, in the end, we are still quite fragile when it comes to matters of the mind.

So that being said, I think nobody who makes gambling losses should be too hard on themselves and they should remember that making such bad decisions is all a part of being human.

Next time they think about taking huge risks, they will remember what happened to them the last time, so in a way making such mistakes can be a good life lesson.
You should not blame yourself for the losses, and you should not be very sorry about them, it's just a game, and if it's not, then try to do everything to make it so. Don't think that this is a job that you should be trying to earn money from, then you won't have to try to stop it. We must try not to make hasty and thoughtless decisions, then there will be no reason for this.

The pursuit of wealth never stops. Even when we have enough or have earned large sums of money through gambling, people still yearn for more money.

I don't think I will give up gambling just because I won life-changing money. What I think, I will do, is minimize the amount I used to stake on bets so that I won't lose everything I have gotten on gambling at once.

For illustration, let's pretend I plan to set aside a little sum each month. I know that if I finish betting with the tiny amount before the month is out, luck might come my way and I'll wind up winning some bets.

That is correct.Once you hit it big, that memory will haunt you at least until you get back to gamble again. In terms of quitting it is much easier to really quit once you have had a really bad day in gambling and these days are like alarm bells that reminds you of something,in this case that it is worthless to continue gambling, you could have used that money in a much better way then throwing it all out in the casino.

Usually when people take a decision on these days to quit gambling they usually succeed,in here I also include myself when I hit a super huge loss one day I promised to stop and I rarely play very little money now.
If they are really willing to quit, they can do that but when they are just devastated and frustrated there's a higher chances that they will only want to stop because of that emotion they are feeling. Quitting gambling is not so easy especially if you gain some happiness and you gain some money to it, you will hardly stop playing, but if you are eager to stop you will eventually stop.

OP if they always go back after making a huge sum of money then maybe it could be considered that they're  addicts or gradually developing an addiction for it, and we all know that an addiction is very difficult to quit and the addiction of gambling is not exempted as well, however even if it's not advisable let's not forget the fact that many people still see gambling as a means of earning even if it considered a side hustle, maybe those people are confident of the strategy they used in winning the previous one and are comfortable with trying again to see if luck is still on their side or they're are trying to make your money with the one they've earned, the fact that people made life changing money from gambling is not a criteria to quit there are many circumstances that could drag them back, like
The love of the game
Eagerness to earn more money due to greed or so
Using it as a form of entertainment during leisures
There are some person who prefer saying on online gambling sites, etc.
For me, of course it's okay when someone gets a big victory then stops from gambling, but I have never found a person who has been given a big victory they stop, instead they come back to gambling because they feel they are easier to get money from gambling in a practical way , but instead that's all that makes him addicted.
Yes they always think positively under addiction they when you get their defeat, as you said tomorrow it might be better or use other strategies to get victory, and yes the longer they are increasingly falling, it is also necessary to remember that gambling is most of the defeat, so not defeat Good assume that gambling as a side or whatever is except as a place of entertainment, even if you really can be entertained.
