not involving emotion in gambling sounds very difficult in my opinion because whatever activity we do, it always includes our emotions.

We can't blame them for thinking like that because that's how they see it and that's the reality. While many see gambling as entertainment and easy to quit. Those people that are looking at it as another source of income are just doing fine. And for us small gamblers, we can just think of whatever we wanna think when we gamble.
