yeah i talked to them. they are going to change the symbol to eCur and name to something else.

Just in-case you have not seen this but a coin called E-Currency ISO is now changing it's name to eCurrency ECC.

While we're not currently on an exchange, and we're not planning on being on an exchange this very second as that is not our goal to just trade the currency to BTC as of this very second and have further plans, it will be coming soon enough along with other updates to the client/daemon.
I would appreciate it if any heated messages be removed. I have removed any heated messages of mine from the thread as it is serving no valuable purpose. My apologies go out to ECC for this mistake as it was unintentional and was not directly to affect them in anyway from the get go.

We are still waiting for the new wallet to be released, which will hopefully fix some problems like not getting synced correctly

Was wondering if anyone here would be interested in a node service for ECCoins.
I can run a Eccoin wallet 24x7 on my system, so there will always be 1 additional node fully synced at all times, besides your regular nodes.
Can do it on a monthly basis for 1 million zeitcoins each month.
Can also setup a monthly download of the current blockchain for any new users so they don't have to sync from the very beginning.
If interested PM me,
also can do a 2nd node for another 1 million zeit if interested.

when releasing can you please share the qt wallet for windows with .exe file.
Also does new wallet requires re download of blockchain or we can use same blockchain.

what do you mean share the QT wallet for windows with .exe file? do you mean upload it in an exe file instead of a zip folder?
we upload in zip folders because a LOT of internet browsers(i know chrome and firefox both do this) block the downloads of less used .exe files. and then u have to manually enable to download. it is a lot easier for most users to just download a zip file and extract it themselves.
the wallet requires a redownload of the blockchain because the indexing in the file is completely different. (and faster). i will provide a blockchain file to download as well because i know a lot of people hate resyncing (this should be the last time any update will ever need a resync).
i will be here all day testing the wallet to make sure all the functions work. if everything is good we should be releasing tonight. i will more than likely be checking the forum threads inbetween builds and while it is running its tests. (so like every 15 minutes or less)

but the sad thing is, everytime i open it (its fully synced now) i only get one connection to the network.
And as soon as my coins are going to stake, i get disced and its saying checkpoint to old.
Any ideas what i can do? I already added google DNS to my network configuration, didn't help me.

currently i am on 2.1 version should i go to 2.3 or wait for new wallet.
Beter to wait for the new wallet. The Gui problem is resolved. We will do some testing on it before we will release it.
