I use this Wallet but i have never a stake with 5mio EMB in 5 months....

I think you should deleted all old files in the ember folder except ember.conf , wallet.dat then you must wait for a full synchronization . It will take quite long to get some connections before synchronization . Sometimes it can get one or two connections and after that it's disappeared but you don't worry about it . Just Keep patient for a while and let it run and Don't stop your wallet . I used to wait for 4-5 days to see my wallet running on VPS.
If you want to get a stake about 6 days - 10 days then you must have at least 400-500 millions EMB coins staking . That's what I know about it.

No worries now. I got directly with the dev and we worked through it. It is now synching.
