Hmmm, I've got an asic and I'm unable to get a single block, I assume what's happened is the time between blocks is so small that by the time the block info makes it out to everybody it's already useless and so the first asic onto the network is going to have a monopoly on coins for the next couple of hours :S.
Well just as I was typing this I at least had a couple of block appear and then not be accepted, so maybe the diff is getting better, seems like it's going up very slowly though.
