I guess it's part of your life to experience a bad situation, at least you learned and gain experience. Sometimes even skilled or experienced day traders deal with this kind of stuff.
Day trading is hard enough as it is. Half the time I can't even do non-emotional day trading that great.
I agree with you mate, but I highly suggest to him if he can, he should hire an experienced trader that would do the job for him in order to avoid huge losses in the future. There are many investors who do this, they hire professional traders to manage their investments and get compensated, simply because they have the skills to trade.

Thanks for sharing your experience! $1,500 is a big loss and I presume you were dealing with at least $5,000 worth of altcoins during that day. Not everyone can afford playing with such amounts, most people don't have such money in the first place. So, maybe, losing $1,500 is not a big deal for you, but nevertheless I suggest you to trade with much smaller amounts. Thus you will be able to afford even a kind of an emotional day trading you are talkng about, which is hard to avoid at all times because nobody is immune to sudden emotions.
That's what emotions do to us, they make us act unwisely. It's already too late for deciding to not act when you are already emotional. Since this can happen to anyone we should be ready beforehand. To avoid losing big amounts you shouldn't risk them in the first place. You shouldn't deposit more than you can afford to lose on a trading platform. Thus, even if you get emotional you are guaranteed against loss of big amounts. IMO there is no use in advice to stop acting and wait while you are emotional, because it is not feasible to perform that.
such a thing under these circumstances will only leave the loss only. If it is better able to withstand and be patient for a long time when in order to get bigger results. in a State that often falls like this would be very difficult if only hope in one day only. need a lot of consideration and analysis for this.
I think in the crypto world we will not be able to predict it, control your emotions in trading that you have to do. You must be patient in this situation. Daily trading basically gives you huge losses if you do not have enough funds.
The market of crypto currency is not based on luck or anything. It is not a market of lottery. The market of crypto currency is an investment market and it depends on the analyzing power of the investors. There is no room for emotion here as emotion will lead to you danger. So be wise and do not be emotional.

We should bear in our minds that day trading is different than investing, you have to monitor the market price every now and then because your goal is to end the day with profit and yes emotions will matter you have to control it.

Yes do not be emotion because if you enter the cryptocurremcy trading specially day trading this is to much risky so that is why i didn't prefer or i didn't do day trading but long term trading and waiting the value rise. The need of day trading was you must be watchful or always monitored every minute because it always fluctuated so that the risky part.
Theres an advantaged and disadvantages between this two if you have no more freetime for doing trading you can go for long term trading but if you have time to make analyzation you will try the daytrading risky is always, you need to monitor what will happen to the altcoin you will trade dont ever be emotional in daytrading or else you will lose a huge amount of money.
actually, by day trading we have to be really ready to keep monitoring the coin market price. because at the same time it could be that the coin prices rise and down. besides, in doing day trading we should be more focused in order to get big profits. but I think with day trading we can get the big profit in a short time if we can manage it well.

Trading i could say is gambling because we never know if the coin we thought has promising value will dropped the time we bought it. That kind of experience always happen to traders. With me there was such a case. On emotions, I sold my coin and lost 1000 $. And if I showed patience, I would earn about 2000 $. You need to have patience.
You must really love trading, don't you? I mean if you love something, you would put up reasons and even emotion. Let's not be too philosophical here. Just simply envision your aim, OP. How much do you see the potential of your coins within the next month? You can envision anything in its price, but at least make it realistic, in the way that it is attainable by logic.
