I wouldn't sell everything if I were you.
Why not? I also will sell all my coins. If I want to buy again, I will buy in the bearish. I think buying in the bearish season will make us get a very cheap price. The bullish season is the time to sell our coins, it is not the time to hold our coins. We must have another chance to buy again with cheap price in the next bearish season.

This has been something I have found difficult to decide on . When this bill run ends in a couple of months time should I sell all my VET and XRP then buy back in when the market turns bearish until the next bullrun?

Or do I only sell a portion of what I have and hold the rest for another 4 years. Reason I am asking is could XRP and VET continue to rise once the bull run ends ? I obviously don’t want to sell all my tokens to find they are continuing to rise in a bear market

What are your thoughts ?

Yes, VeChain and Ripple Coins have a chance to increase in the next bull run. We just need to be patient when market conditions are dumping like they are today. XRP coin on the previous bull run hit $1.8, and VeChain at $0.27. A lot of people are talking about the bull run in December, and we expect the coin to surpass the previous ATH.

I wouldn't sell everything if I were you. First of all, one should be aware of the thing that it is very important to be an aware investor. People should know when to sell after a good run in the market. If we become greedy, then we can lose a lot of money in a market like this. But I don't prefer to sell all of my investments after reaching my target price. I sell most of them and still leave some amount for a longer term.

Maybe what happened, OP should take a look at the problem for himself and see what he missed.
You have no control over your own investment when there are still external factors influencing. I have personally made these mistakes before, when I needed cash to spend my life, but the funds didn't allow it and my investment plan fell through. Sometimes good preparation is a huge advantage in a game.

It is the external conditions that are the most common reason why our investment plans fail. It is ideal when we are in no way connected with the period we have invested in. This is what an investment in cryptocurrencies characterizes and requires a lot of patience. The cryptocurrency bull run comes and goes, but everyone who can survive the pressure of falling prices ends up making a profit.

Well i have sold my bitcoins and ethereum and currently i am hoping that the price decreases so after a month or two i can buy again with a lower price Grin
If you are waiting for a decline in these two good coins, then that also doesn't need to be disclosed because Bitcoin and Ethereum have never seen you in this case because anyone who has bought at a low price, obviously he will still expect a high price after make a purchase.
But not all have that kind of mentality. They are all set to buy low and sell high but when the time comes and they see that certain uncommon things happened they just easily been move and sell their coins with big losses.

We don't exactly know what the market will bring us after some days or weeks that we spent from the exchange. We might win some or lose some of the important thing is to understand and realize that bull and bear are always around.

as investor, you need to work more with understanding the concept of trading to anticipate much better.

Depends on your target if the price already hit your target i think sell partialy its fine, atleast secure your capital first. I always sell 30% when my coin already hit my personal target and the rest i will keep it and set another goal before i sell it again.

No one can know for sure when the bull run will end, although the price of Bitcoin experienced a correction and was followed by several altcoins which
also fell. That doesn't mean the bull run is over. because there is a possibility that the market will recover in the near future and crypto prices will
rise again. I agree everyone has their own target and strategy, so only we ourselves determine when is the best time to sell our crypto. So it is in our
hands the decision to sell or not the crypto we have, but I can only suggest don't sell all the crypto we have. Because if the price continues to rise,
we can still make the next profit. Your choice is very good by selling only 30% of the coins you have, meaning you have 70% coins to be able to hold
in the long term. Because if we choose potential coins, the price will be more expensive if we hold it in the long term.

That's bad planning from the start, we all have an emergency situation in life that we need money, but if in the first place you already planned it well, you don't have to touch your investment to spend for the emergency as you could have allocated funds for that certain purpose from the very start.

They say, only invest what you can afford to lose, which means you need to have savings first before planning to risk investing your money and you don't need to invest everything you have.

Maybe, but if I still hold because the month of the end of 2021 there will be an increase and a good price. This is in my view only, because there will be many new krypto projects.

I think the same as you, no need to sell all the coins, just sell some of the coins that have increased at a good price to sell. For some coins whose price is still going down, it's better to hold on to them. The signs for the upcoming uptrend are still there, I'm also sure that the bullrun isn't over yet. All we have to do is patiently wait for the start of the pump of all the next crypto coins, especially for Bitcoin. When Bitcoin increases significantly again, all the altcoins will probably increase in value as well.

It's best to take some profits and invest in a few average computers and buy the good staking coins (Tron, Neblio, Reddcoin, etc.) so you can earn money from crypto when the market is down.

https://www.stakingrewards.com/  talks more about it.

Sell some and keep some than selling all at once. The worst mistake that someone can ever do is to sell all his or her altcoin at once.
There's this friend of mine, that sold all her altcoin at once because she was in desperate need of money. Up to date, she's regretting it cos the money has skyrocketed than she expected.
You have to be able to differentiate between really needing money at that time and holding some coins for a long time because you don't need money suddenly, so it would be very wrong to compare people who really need money with people who can hold coins for a long time. for carrying out his strategy and he had another stash of money so he didn't have to sell all the coins he already had at the time.

So your friend should be grateful for being able to get out of the problem at that time, not sorry for the increase in coin prices at other times, "Be careful in thinking mate"

Give time to this current situation. Everything will be okay. Just hold and if you can't look at falling market, better to stay away for a while.

Take time to chill, divert your attention with other things that will allow you to relax yourself and forget the current situation.
Thats the best that we can do during this time if we dont want to be tempted to sell just because the price of our coins are declining.

Although we cant certainly predict the future price of our coins, we can somehow gain idea if we conduct a research to know if it has potential. The reason why its a must to understand what you're doing and have your own analysis because we're the only one who can say if the coins that we currently hold are good either for short or long term.

Don't sell your tokens yet, if the market still striving so hard there's always a chance that we see our asset soaring back on green market. Meanwhile we need to wait and extend our patience in order to survive with bear resistance. Great predictions awaits for us, and for sure we will be having back $60k per btc that could attract different market pairing to bounce higher perfectly.

Best to extend your patience if you do trust the asset that you are holding, selling because you are unsure to how the market will move is not a good strategy, it will cause you panic if you don't understand the flow, there's always a good cycle that will bring the bull back, strong and calm mindset will let you pass this temporary downfall.

Give time to this current situation. Everything will be okay. Just hold and if you can't look at falling market, better to stay away for a while.

You are thinking right. Don't sell your all coins at once. Sell them in portions. If you feel that your target achieved then sell 50% of coins and hold the remaining of 50% coins. And when it takes a huge dip then again buy these coins at cheap prices. So, this is the best technique i think. In this way, your quantity of coins increases. So, don't sell all your coins at once because we did not know the market that its price increase more or dump.

End of Bullrun?
No, can't say it was it is because the market is still healthy and I think we are still on that level. What we see is just a normal market correction, nothing to worried about.

@Natalim at the end of the day it's all about implementing your trading strategy as per the market movements. The only crypto I hodl is BTC , the rest of the alt coins I frequently buy and sell in portions  once it reaches my desired price point.
Bitcoin is a good coin to hold at this time especially when you have many of it. Do anybody know when the bull market is going to end? No one some I still want the op to have a good reason why he want to sell all his coin at the end of the bull market. Any person that thinks the bull market has ended can choose to sell their own share of the coin without having to think twice.
Perhaps, that was their choice either. They can do anything with their cryptos. Of course, holding isn't forever, I do selling during Bullrun and I sell Bitcoin, not because I was worried about the price to dump (which is common) but that is actually how we get profit in crypto.
