Maybe you will fill one slot later if you decide to register again. 
Some people may have sent PM to darkstar_ to reserve 1 place in the campaign, even when the campaign was closed for new participants.

I think only people like you can disqualify us from some open slot after the announcement. Therefore I will never feel disappointed when I fail to get 1 a slot because 90+% of the opportunity is for member who have quality, are very trusted and have a good reputation.

But Steamtyme has been a little convincing and makes me confident to try to apply when the manager has announced an open place. Darkstar_ is a great manager and is very trusted, therefore I am sure he will make the right choice to choose who is suitable to fill vacancies later.

DarkStar_, I really appreciate you, you parents who are full of good and bad considerations.
DarkStar_, why don't you just lock it up for a temporary campaign, when you are truly "positive" accepting new participants, you open your wings wide for newcomers.

All kidding aside, I have learned continually that he is a really good guy ever since early 2016 when he unsolicitedly PM'd me with good lending advice, even though I was competing against his service, back when we were both pretty young accounts.. Very nice of him even way back then, and he has sense built an impeccable reputation and remained a good hearted user, despite the fortune and fame..

I'll apply anyway, because this is like one of the only opportunities with dignity (payrate is not my motivation), but I highly doubt I'll be accepted due to CM business decisions about where they want hired posters to post, and my postings are in limited sections where they probably don't really need more CM sigs flying around, lol..

I find we are quite likeminded when we cross paths but he is wise to stay out of the BS and stick to business considering all he has to lose, though I believe we could definitely use more outspoken users with the mind of DS to keep this forum headed in the right direction..

All kidding aside, putting the signature on is something applicants should really do. The rules in the OP ask to do so, it's just no one wants to lose their current signature as every campaign requires to keep it on at all times, and DarkStar_ is nice enough to flex that rule (see the subtle praise, add it to your list of techniques).

I better start writing up my script about how much murits, trusts, and powah I gots, and how great of a non-signature shitposter I have been for years to go along with my application..

Maybe also make many comments and condescendingly correct applicant's mistakes during the application process, and have a fancy tutorial ready to post about multiple ways to make a segwit addresses to help those applicants who can't read OPs and such, because they will surely have a good chance if they manage to get their app right the 2nd or 3rd time..
Maybe even lend DarkStar_ my mind of what applicants to choose and cheer some of them on because he would surely appreciate all my great suggestions..

I think it's good to give a heads up. There are people who might be great for it who otherwise wouldn't notice in time. I would however lock it until I took applications.

That's what happens when you pre-announce an announcement. DarkStar_ should just ninja-announce (no pun intended) open slots on New Year's eve when any sane person is out celebrating and whoever makes it in the first 20 minutes - they're in.

You apply only after there are open slots.

If there's gonna be (an) open slot(s) next week, mind if I apply.

Not gonna lie, I'm intimidated on joining this campaign because there are a lot of participants here that are well known from this community. But then again, what's wrong on giving it a chance (or more like, giving me a chance actually).

Likely a few spots open next week or the week after, uncertain. In addition, pre-registration does not increase your chance, so don't hurry. Just wait until the official announcement and you can register without any problems. I believe there will be hundreds of people signing up for the vacancies of this campaign. The payments are really awesome.

Don't sell yourself short. You have as good a chance as any, just looking at your profile. You are a Sr. Member, check. You have merit earned check. I got into the campaign just as I crossed the Sr. Member mark so it can happen. Trusted doesn't really come into play from what I can tell, it just so happens there are a lot of trusted and long time members participating.
It all comes down to DS and CM they are looking for representation on the boards, and the quality of the posts you create.

chipmixer is one of the biggest signature campaign with the most expensive payment still active. As far as I know, this is a campaign where enough people are waiting for an opportunity to join when there is an empty slot announced by the manager.


I think when the manager announces a new slot is open, then thats when there will be there are many members fighting over the slot. But the fact that being accepted to work in this campaign is not about who is first, but about who is the best and is very trusted. That is why when member like me try to register, I only have a 0.1-1% chance compared to the other member.

I know that there are only a few opportunities if I register when the slot is available later, but I will try a little confidence that I will register.
