EOS is not gonna replace ethereum, so stop thinking that it will happen anytime soon, because it is more than impossible to be honest. It is more probably toi see dogecoin improving instead of seeing this happening anytime soon.

Ethereum has solutions be offered to community which are ethereum will switch from proof of work PoW to proof of stake PoS, but the other problem is many decentralize application dapps on ethereum's blockchain right now, what must be done by developers for this problem and the community of miners ethereum won't support for this, they will support for ethereum classic ETC, it is mean ethereum will be losing the community.

The DPOS mechanism is a really interesting variation from ETH. Governance is so important for these big projects trying to stay decentralized.

To my opinion EOS is les decentralized, but it will have a lot of advantages over etherium because of that, if Etherium wouldn't find solution for scalability issue, which will be convenient to use, then EOS will definitely be severe competitor.

EOS has a pretty good development and improvement. so that could be said is the successor to the EOS Ethereum. In addition, the EOS also has increased the price of a couple of weeks.

EOS is a good altcoin. It has a great potential in market if I have some extra cash why not invest to it. I think it's a great investment. But to be next Etherium we cannot say let see what will happen this 2018. Hopefully this will be there year..Just wait time will come!!

Their ico is so long and they already collected a lot of money so the rest will depends on the team ability to build the platform well and fulfill their roadmap.
