Too bad Ajax played 1-1 against FC Utrecht last night. If they want to become the champions this weekend they have to win and PSV must not win.

But they have weeks enough to get the last points of course.

Not so tragic for Ajax, if they win the next game or play a draw they are as good as champions, Ajax has 32 points better goal difference and is now 12 points ahead. One point should be enough on Sunday to fix the title, if I'm not wrong? The goal difference alone makes them champions ...

Well if Ajax wins against FC Utrecht they can win the championship in the match against AZ so they will take that much seriously. No way they dont take that match not that serious. They have plenty of time to win the championship but the sooner the better.

if there is a chance to win a championship at home, than Ajax will try to use it, although there is no fans on the stadiums, and will be creepy to celebrate on an empty stadium
nevertheless, it does seem that Ajax would like to take the championship as soon as possible, they are in winning strike, now without Europa league disturbance, and that leaves AZ with lower chances to avoid lose in Amsterdam

After Ajax was eliminated in the Europa League, I think they will give everything in today's game to secure the title on Sunday at the latest by their own hands. For AZ it will of course be very difficult to take points on Sunday. And yes, it's sad if you win the championship at home and the stadium is empty.

It depends on how important Ajax take the game, next week I am assuming an Ajax victory in the addendum. If PSV then doesn't win on Saturday, Ajax will be the champions if I'm not mistaken. Should this happen, will Ajax still take Sunday's game seriously? Should PSV win, they will try to secure the championship title in the home Stadion. But Ajax has the more important game tomorrow I think.

Maybe not mathematically yet but Ajax are already the champions if we think realistically. They are going to play their missing game against Utrecht next week and they will most probably beat their opponent.

I am very sure that Ajax will not play seriously in the match against AZ, one of the factors is that AZ has played 29 matches, but Ajax has only played 28 games. Besides that too, Ajax definitely wants to keep the performance of its players to stay fit.

Besides that, PSV might be having a hard time facing their opponents before entering the month of May. Many PSV Players Have Injuries.

If Ajax don't play very seriously then AZ's chance for a win will be quite high. It will be more dependent on the result of the Ajax-Utrecht game. If Ajax win that, they may not take the AZ game very seriously.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number

The Ajax - AZ Alkmaar game in 2 weeks will be a big chance for PSV to gain an advantage surely. But even if AZ lose to Ajax in that one and PSV benefit from it, I'm also sure that we will watch a great competition for the 2nd place between these two clubs.

will be interesting to see fight between PSV and AZ, that should last until the end
next round for them will bring AZ match in Amsterdam, so PSV could take some advantage after that one

on the bottom end, Venlo is sinking and they are approaching relegation, with Emmen just a point behind and Willem II already above, they will certainly have this break to consolidate

Wait and see how much power Ajax still has and how seriously they still take it. I think the focus is currently on the Europa League game. The next round has more priority than the league game, and Ajax also has the supplementary game on Thursday.

PSV are going to play an important game against Venlo today as they are fighting for the 2nd place. Venlo are also trying not to relegate from the Eredivisie. But they are the most terrible team in the league now as they conceded 73 goals in 28 games. I assume it will be an easy victory for PSV here.

It will be very close for 2nd place, PSV and AZ both make their points and are on the same level with 61 points. There will also be a close race for the relegation place. A relegation candidate is almost fixed.

Vitesse ? - ? ADO Den Haag, 4th place Vitesse face bottom of the log Haag in a bid to go level on points with PSV and Alkmaar in the race for the second champions league spot. Vitesse will win with more than 2 goals.
What are your predictions?

Vitesse played incredibly dominantly especially in the second half but Den Haag somehow managed to keep the score at 0-0 and get a point in this one. We are in the last 7 weeks of the league and it was one of the crucial games for Vitesse in the fight for the 2nd spot.

Yep that 0-0 wasn't expected. Haven't seen the match live but in the sumary it looks like a miracle that ADO went home woth 1 point.

For Vitesse a big setback for the fight for second place. So it will be very difficult for Vitesse, a draw against the last in the table is simply not enough. I think the fight for second place will only be fought under AZ and PSV.

AZ Alkmaar has the chance to go 5 points clear ahead of Vitesse and 3 ahead of PSV into second position in the race for who will take the second champions league spot after Ajax; Who do you reckon become second placed team at the end of the season ? PSV or Alkmaar ?
It all depends on the total number of matches remaining to round up this season, AZ Alkmaar champion league experience is what goona be talking about, PSV on the other hand is good and had played several matches with standard clubs meanwhile PSV have an easy home clash with sure 3 points against VVV Venlo tomorrow. AZ might find it a little bit harder against Rotherham today. To me PSV will remain in the second place till the season ends.

Heracles ? - ? Willem II
AZ Alkmaar ? - ? Sparta Rotterdam
Fortuna Sittard ? - ? FC Emmen
PEC Zwolle ? - ? FC Twente

With Vitesse dropping 2 points last night in their draw against Haag, and PSV playing tomorrow; AZ Alkmaar has the chance to go 5 points clear ahead of Vitesse and 3 ahead of PSV into second position in the race for who will take the second champions league spot after Ajax; Who do you reckon become second placed team at the end of the season ? PSV or Alkmaar ?

What are your predictions?

I expect Vitesse to win big against ADO Den Haag. ADO Den Haag isn't playing good recently so I don't see them play different against Vitesse.

So a win with more then 2 goals shouldnt be that hard for Vitesse.
