PSV has submitted yesterday and overtaken Ajax, Feyenoord can make today an important step towards the title, Ajax must win today not to lose the closure to PSV, it is at second place for the Champions League place, which is very important, not only sporting but also financially.
the competition between ajax and PSV for 2nd place is really running tight, after PSV won 4-0 over excelsior, ajax also won 4-0 from fortuna. because both teams won, the points for both were even, next week PSV will face Volendam while Ajax will face Emmen, it seems that the two will win again.

Feyenoord is closing to the title, 5:1 over RKC, and difference is again 8 points to second placed Ajax and PSV
six rounds to go, Feyenoord needs 11 points to secure title, should not be a big deal for them

Ajax and PSV will fight for second spot, AZ will obviously be fourth

against RKC, Feyenoord proved they are believing in successful finish for this season, 13 shots in first half, 6 on target, 3 goals, and RKC didn't have much to hope for in second half

Luckily for Feyenoord, they have sealed their position in goals and in points. Netherland Eredivisie is always favourable with an over 1 goal results. But today's own came with a humiliation, all coming from Ajax, Twente, and Feyenoord. But I'm so surprised about Emem who seems to have always been the goal-scoring team in the league  but couldn't locate the back of the net in the Nijmegen clash. even with the high-scoring number, I think Ajax still needs to add up much consistency in their winning streak else they will be caught off guard by PSV.

Ajax and Feyenoord did not make a mistake this week and got 3 points from their home matches and the point difference between them remained unchanged. We see that both teams beat their opponents with different results.First of all, if I have to start with the Ajax-Fortuna Sittard match, ajax put pressure from the first minutes and managed to turn the match in their favor by scoring an early goal in the 6th minute.Ajax, which showed its weight throughout the match, did not even give fortuna sittard a chance to score.I must say that it did not give many positions.
Feyenoord, on the other hand, actually broke the match with 3 goals between the 29th and 39th minutes in the first half.We can't say that the match was in the middle, but even though waalwijk wanted to be partners in the match, feyenoord didn't allow it.They scored 5 goals in 22 shots they took and it's really hard to stop Feyenoord.
Feyenoord flying high!

They are 8 points ahead of ajax the title defender ... they might break ajax record to have 5 times winning the league consecutively this time since 2018-2019 campaign. Solid winning from feyenoord hammering 5-1 waalwijk while ajax destroy fortuna sittatd 4-0. The title race still on though.

you can't blame PSV or Ajax for letting those players go. As soon as the big clubs are waving with money there isn't much you can do when you are not among European's elite clubs financially. There are a couple of leagues and also especially some clubs that have been suffering from that for years if not even decades. They develop a supertalent into a star and of course want to keep the player, but game over as soon as your player is performing too well. The thing is that even the age is decreasing further and further and they don't even stay with those clubs until they are 23 or 24. They usually leave when they are 20 or even younger. That makes it hard for Ajax and similar clubs to build a team they can look forward with into the future.
That can't be the reason, I mean when you consider the fact that Ajax has been the farming team of bigger clubs in Europe and has been sending their players for years now, even after selling their best players, they replaced them with younger players and still won the title. But now looking at it today, they failed to do that because they did sell those players but couldn't replace them with great players once again, this time they failed to do that and it is definitely a big issue.

It is not going to be an easy decision to keep that going, but I feel like it is not something we can just say it's fine neither. Ajax needs to realize that they need to find better players for their club and should be doing better than this even after selling players.

Yes but it is a risky endeavor. It can work for a while and some clubs are actually very good at signing young players, developing them and then sell them for a lot of money because they have to sell them anyway. Why not make a good buck with them then? The system works amazingly well until it doesn't for a year. You can't always replace 1:1 and even if you could, you also have to have some luck that the player you are signing actually turns into the player you think he could be turning into. If it was certain already that a specific player is going to be a superstar, you probably couldn't buy him anymore anyway. Borussia Dortmund is such a club as well and so far they have managed it well, but it was not always the case that they could replace 1:1.

Few surprises for PSV and Ajax, but nobody expected that. Leader Feyenoord is currently playing against RKC in De Kuip, in which I don't expect any problems. At the moment they are 5 points ahead and if they win that will be 8 points again. If we want to keep the title fight even a little bit exciting, RKC should score a result here tonight, but how realistic is the chance that that will happen? RKC has probably been happy for a long time that it is in 9th place and has therefore been safe in the fight against relegation football for a while.

Feyenoord has been at the top from the start and PSV and Feyenoord have not had any serious chances for the title this season. I think the turning point was in the Ajax - Feyenoord match with a 1-1 score, in which everyone expected Ajax to push through to equalize with Feyenoord. After all, Feyenoord's lead was only 3 points at that time. Then Ajax had the opportunity to repair the backlog, but unfortunately that did not work out. What else can you say about the competition? PSV, Ajax and AZ are all unstable, and no one is consistent enough. The fact is now that either Ajax or PSV will grab next to a CL ticket. That is a big blow from a financial point of view.

at this point, and looking at Feyenoord gap on top, this is probably most important to PSV and Ajax, who will finish in CL position
financially, this could slide one of them down significantly, since CL money is pretty much bigger than EL money

PSV won, -5 to Feyenoord that has still to play against RKC, but they should not have problems to win, and get back to +8
Ajax against Sittard, should be a win too

It's crazy how quickly an almost guaranteed plot in a league like the Eredivsie can change. Everyone expected Ajax Amsterdam to take the lead and keep it until the very end of the season, but then it only needs a few weeks of weakness and one team to exploit it and this is the case this time with Feyenoord Rotterdam. They are in an amazing position now. No more duels with PSV or Ajax or AZ, 8 points ahead which allows them 2 losses save, probably even three losses as the other teams won't win every single game most likely. So they can lose 3 out of 7 and they are not up against the top teams anymore. I am quite certain that this season is over Wink The last time they have been the champion was in 16/17.

Additionally, they are playing a great Europa League season and that would be the icing on the cake. We'll see how far they can make it.

For PSV and Ajax the KNVB final is still left to be played for. That is a bit of a relief for the team who wins it, and the loser of that final had a pretty bad season.
One thing is sure now no one can stop changes which are happening around soccer world and many clubs where were having mostly spots in middle or lower ranks having good changes due to their performance and consistency same happening here in Dutch League, and we have Feyenoord as the new winner after six years with Ajax and PSV are paying for selling their top players to big clubs without having suitable replacements hopefully now they will learn their lessons and try to bring improved players which will be able to give them better results in next season but in current season things are completely change and Feyenoord are having strong case for the double because domestic league pressure is released with this now they can give all intention to Europa Cup where now they are going to face AS Roma which beats them in last season in Conference League Cup now it's good time for having revenge and better results which will allow them to have spot into last four teams.

Az alkmaar lost the match despite being good at home. the home team could not find a goal even though they had more chances and played more possession, unfortunately they had to lose. With this win Rotterdam reduced the gap with Alkmaar to 5 points. Alkmaar may slowly start to fall out of the championship race with this defeat.
PSV, on the other hand, beat their opponent 4-0 with a good game at home, reducing the point difference with Feyenoord to 5 for now and waiting for their opponent to lose points.

Regardless of all peripheral matters that play out, PSV and Ajax are very disappointing. Feyenoord is more than rightly at the top. And if you look at the Feyenoord team, it is very clever in several respects. Almost the entire selection left last season because they managed to force good transfers through the very good game. Feyenoord's progress is unprecedented. Still, I think we have to give the tainer, Arne Slot, a lot of credit. No other coach in this league could have done that. And Feyenoord is also very fit physically. They managed to get a lot of points with that by the end of the game

Today there was a match between Groningen and Utrecht. Groningen is in the relegation zone and I can say that relegation is a certainty. Utrecht, on the other hand, needs to be in the top 7 to qualify for Europe next year. We can say that the first half of the match was balanced. In the second half the away team increased the pressure and scored with plenty of chances and won the match.

Next game that Feyenoord will play at home, the box where the incident took place will most likely remain empty. Then you get a kind of social control in the future. Hanging nets doesn't seem nice to me as a football fan. But of course you have to do something. Groningen is currently lagging behind again and relegation seems to be getting closer for Groningen. It's been a long time since this team played in the 2nd division. Battle for the championship was already decided, but the battle for 2nd place is in full swing. Ajax can also become 4th. They might consider bringing back Marc Overmars, but would you do something like that as a club? The way things are going now has huge consequences for the club and capital self-destruction seems closer than most people realize.

After 63 minutes game stopped due to spectators riots, game was well-balanced with any team can win from here.
One of Feyenoord fans throw something from stands and it hit Davy Klaassen's head. What a shame:

https://twitter.com/TheEuropeanLad/status/1643704347841245195
Seems that someone is going to get lifetime ban to visit stadiums and Feyenoord probably will have to play some upcoming games in empty stadium and pay big fine. Game was resumed after some time, Klaassen returned to pitch, but soon was replaced.
Ajax won the game which was well-balanced as you said and they go to the final where they will face PSV.
Lol, though very devastating but so funny. Fans are sometimes very unjust, I wonder what he may have done to warrant such. I'm still meditating on how the perpetrator of this act is going to be fetched out. Seeing that fans are so coordinated and cooperative, will it be easy to fetch this person and give him the necessary penalty for this act just like you said? I quest the punishment is going to be served directly to all the Fans and this will be so detrimental to the club. You know what it means to Play a match without fans.

it was a shame what happened, not sure that it influenced final score
Ajax is in the final, playing with PSV, last year final replay

PSV won last year, we will see what will happen this year

will be interesting to see what will happen to Feyenoord and their fan after this incident, looking to find some clue in the news, but still nothing on possible penalty for them (is point deduction possible in this case?)
