A very unexpected result today, Ajax playing a draw against a team struggling at the bottom of the table, is the team more focused on the upcoming Champions League game?
Seems like Ajax and several big clubs in another league got lost also and they are in the play champions league the next few days, that was possible what you think. Only 2 points left and following Ultrech with 3 points if won versus Willem II tonight. Ajax must be careful in the next step, they have better on the champions league, always win, and be on Top, I think Ajax must not over-focusing on the match yet (vs Dortmund)

Unfortunately I didn't see the game, did Ajax play with their best fprmation or did they rotate after the tough programme and spare some key players?

We can say that Ajax is the Champion this year. They beat their biggest rival PSV 5-0. This score is a sensational score. PSV failed to show any presence. However, it was a big surprise that they drew 0-0 with Heracles yesterday.  PSV beat Twente 5-2. As Ajax failed to defeat Heracles, they lost their big advantage. At the moment, the difference in points is only 2. Still, I think Ajax will be the champion.

I think so too, Ajax have also only conceded 2 goals in the league, sensational. The only rival for me this season is PSV and as you write, the 5:0 was like an execution. But the season is still long.

Of course there are many matches to go, but I believe that playing in the Champions League is no extra burden for Ajax, but rather extra motivation and a way that forces them to keep their game level as high as possible. I don't think PSV can beat Ajax over the course of the season. Ajax has once more a very solid squad.

Feyenoord won by late goal in overtime, 0:1, but important win that keeps them in the top, one game behind, and four points below Ajax
it was a boring match, Feyenoord had it, but could not execute goal, and finally make it in overtime

Utrecht trashed Willem II 5:1, and they are third, while Willem II has four matches without a win, and slides to position 8

The advantage, PSV made up points after the embarrassing game, remains theoretically the most exciting title. I don't think any other team has a real chance of winning the title.

It was surprising to a certain degree but they also didn't concede any goals. For me that means they are still very stable. There will always be a game where you simply can't get the ball into the goal, but if you still keep a clean sheet that can also be decisive points for the championship in the end.

Indeed, this result is big surprise. But I think that for Ajax, after humiliating Borussia and PSV, it was difficult to give 100% playing against much weaker opponent like Heracles. Such things happens often after big wins. Something like hangover. For neutral fans this result ig good thing - it keeps max tention on the top.
Tomorrow we have Rotterdam derby. These teams have completely different places on the table, but I predict taht it will be quite interesting game.

yeah, Ajax left points in Amelo, against Heracles, so PSV is back to two points difference, and 5:0 from last week is almost forgotten

AZ is down at the moment, against Zwolle, as well, but there is plenty of time to overcome this during the match
so, tricky round in Ere divisie so far, with Rotterdam derby tomorrow at noon, seems that Feyenoord should use Ajax draw to close-up the difference

And PSV did it again against Twente today as they won by three-goal gap again. But this time, there were a PSV which won by a 5-2 result. This is really huge for pulling themselves together after being destroyed by Ajax by a 5-0 result. Ajax are playing an away match against Heracles now. It is 0-0 now and if Ajax lose points somehow, it will help PSV get close to them again.

PSV Played Very Aggressively Against Twente, They Deserved For The 5 Goals They Scored Against Twente Today, I Hope They Can Keep Their Current Performance To Make Eredivisie More Interesting.

The match between Heracles and Ajax will end soon and it looks like the result will be Heracles 0 - 0 Ajax, If the result is true, it means that Ajax and PSV are only 2 points apart, oh yes, we must not forget Utrecht and Feyenoord, who also have the potential to become Eredivisie champions this season.

When you look at Ajax' goal stats it is almost impossible to believe that they even lost a game. 37 - 2 goals and they lost four points thus far. Unbelievable they lost against Utrect in a home game given their current shape. Pretty interesting how evenly their whole team scores goals. Not like they have a Lewandowski who scores every third goal or so.

Nothing is impossible in football, every team has a chance, after all they only lost 0-1 to Utrecht which means the match between Ajax Vs Utrecht is very fierce. Currently they are still in first place in the Eredivisie standings, and today they will compete against Heracles Almelo.

I'm sure Ajax will win easily, what's more, the Asian Handicap is -1.75 for Ajax. What's Your Prediction? Can Ajax Score More Than 3 Goals?

The statistics speak a very clear language and answer your question quite well! Cheesy

They've already proven that they can score four goals even against Dortmund so the question is not whether they are able to or not. They certainly are able to.

What you said about every team having a chance is true. In a single game everything is possible as we have seen in the CL between Sheriff and Real Madrid. But I can't see how a team would compete with Ajax over the course of a whole season.

We know how terrible result PSV got last week against Ajax by 5-0. Tomorrow, it is time for PSV to make up for this huge and embarrassing loss. The competitor is Twente and it is a home match. PSV still have many missing and questionable players now. But they should win this to be able to continue from where they left. Twente is a tough competitor this season but PSV defeated them home by 3-0 last season. We'll see if they will do it again.
The only good thing in this match for PSV is that they are playing at home against Twente. I have watched a couple of games from Twente and they are a really solid team that can even make a surprise tommorow against PSV,PSV is in knockdown from last match against Ajax and they need the win against Twente really badly.

Ajax on a side, because they are kicking everyone, PSV match with Twente could be an interesting one tomorrow
PSV is down after 0:5 last week, have almost double digit number of injured players and Twente has a good chance to leave the stadium without a lose, and odds are great for double chance x2 - @3.4

Feyenoord is playing city derby with Sparta, at noon, and these games could give a surprise, so I would skip betting on that one
Psv performance in the recent games is not good they lost 3 games in their last 6 but even twente are not able to win in the last 3 games so the double chance is a risky bet
So i think a handicap with 1.95 odd is less risky.

A demonstration of power by Ajax, sending their direct title rivals home with 5 goals is quite a feat. Ajax could have a dream season again after 1995, only conceding a total of 3 goals so far, really great. Even though PSV lost 5:0, they are the favourites for 2nd place.

Ajax put on an extraordinary show against PSV yesterday and erased their opponent from the field by 5-0. Actually both of these teams had a good form in the Eredivisie until this match. But PSV had so many players missing which affected their performance a lot. Ajax were in a very solid shape as they defeated Dortmund by 4-0 and they were very eager to win here too. And they did it by their own way which is tearing their opponent apart.  Grin

Wow, how good is Ajax. 5 :0 against PSV. They left nothing from PSV. If PSV can't offer anything against Ajax, I don't see anyone else in Netherlands which can stop this force. I said it few times already, but I repeat again - now Ajax is one of hottest teams in Europe. And I think this season they can achieve something significant not just in Eredivisie, but in Champions league too. Maybe repeat something similar like they did in 2018/19 season.

Ajax is far the best team in Netherlands for over 5 years and they are still dominating. They destroyed PSV 5-0 and PSV is fighting for the title, this is just Ajax saying it our title so give up.Ajax is playing brutal good in Europe and their own league so i think they will win it again.
