It would be very surprising if Ajax lost to Cambuur, they even almost made a draw if Ryan Gravenberch did not score in the final minutes of the match, currently Ajax are only 5 points different from PSV, their eternal rivals.

PSV will have a game against Utrecht which they won for sure and they will return to 2 points difference from Ajax, we will not see a match between Ajax and PSV again in the Eredivisie this season and this is a good sign for Ajax.

I think it was only matter of time when Feyenoord will drop from title race. Before season I didn't even saw them being in close distance for 2/3 season.
You're right that fight for 3rd place will be interesting, but I just realized that it only gives spot in Conference league qualifiers, what doesn't sounds very exciting. And yeah, AZ have nice run, including beating Feynoord few rounds ago.
P.S. Don't want to brag, but it's my 9000th post here. On the way to 10 000 Cheesy

Very dissapointing to see latest performance from Feyenoord because they can only get 1 point from their last 2 matches and now for race tittle only between PSV and Ajax even Feyenoord position on 3rd also not secured because if they lost points again next week then AZ Alkmaar will taking over their position especially Alkmaar currently onfire after successfully getting 5 wins from 5 matches

yeah, Ajax conceived 9 goals in the season, with these two included
so, shout-out to RKC for scoring two goals, it is a success, even with a fact that they lost the match eventually

Holy moly, that was what I was talking about. The pressure is onto Ajax here. PSV is keeping pace with them and Ajax only won this game by penalty in overtime. Nerves are coming through obviously. This is going to be exciting till the very end. Wouldn't want to be a PSV player tonight seeing that your direct opponent gets a penally in 90.+ and then also scores it after you took the overall lead.

It is more of a title race between Ajax and PSV now. Because Feyenoord made big mistakes for two weeks and this resulted in a big point difference with the leader. Ajax are in the lead in the standings by 60 points now and PSV follow them two points behind. PSV mustn't lose points much to be able to keep up with Ajax. Their solid form helped them decrease the point difference to two now. Because Ajax lost to Go Ahead Eagles short time ago. I hope the race would continue till the end.

It is now exciting again. That difference in goal difference between Ajax and Psv is immense. Nice that they both have the same number of points. Ajax will have little use for that goal difference if Psv continues to win. What is especially striking is Twente's 5th place, which is a lie that they come from relegation. It is between Ajax and PSV, but we actually knew that beforehand. Ajax is still a heavy favorite for the title.

Alright alright, I know it is unlikely that Ajax is going to lose today or leave points on the table, but taking into account that PSV now took the lead, which hasn't been the case for so long, might put some significant pressure onto Ajax. They are also soon going to meet Feyenoord, although that one is a home game, but might still be a tipping point this season. I didn't expect this season to be so close towards the end given all those spectacular performances by Ajax.

Obviously they are still on top, but who would have even thought that the league would become interesting once more?

That is all thanks to PSV and their performance that allows him to at least stay close. With these standings Ajax will be at least a little bit nervous during their games. It is just two points.

In the end is it direct comparison or goal statistics if they achieve equal points? It's a bit tough to find out as it seems.
