I tried link 2 for Mac OS but it still saying no block source available. Did you get the blockchain to sync? Are you using windows?
I am using windows although link 2 for Mac was working for me as well. It took a couple of minuets for the page to load but did eventually. The blockchain took about a day to sync but is stuck with 2 days left to go, I'm guess because by looking at the block explorer I can see the last block was actually generated 3 days ago due to the lack of mining power in the network.

mmm, I have the wallet downloaded, but it won't even start syncing. Any ideas on what to do?
I had to add the nodes like it says on the first page, wait a few mins and everything started to sync. Hopefully that works for you too

After having lost 30,000RPC in the Cryptsy fiasco
and the administrator rejecting my claim because
of lack of screenshots, I would like to get back onboard
I would also like to get the wallet and blockchain back
in some kind of "working condition", I think running
a L3+ on it might help, I have asked a few renters of
these on ebay, to look into it for me, but so far no one
thinks they can mine it with one, why is this?
I am prepared to buy or rent an L3+, if that will help,
if you think you know the answer to this please reply

of no blocks for 2 weeks then 1500 in two days)
is the first step of helping this coin back to health

I've been trying to solo mine this coin with 1 of my L3+'s and would be happy to help contribute towards getting the blockchain back up and running. Problem is I can't seem to get it to work, no matter what I try it keeps coming up as a dead connection. If you could help me get it set up I'd be more than happy to leave an L3+ on it for sometime until things begin to sort themselves out, maybe that could encourage other miners to get onboard?
Anyway the offer is there if you want to take it.

The last of Paul Vernon anyone knew he was in China but nobody knows whether he is dead or alive because he has not made any announcements. At the current rate of $US his scam probably stole billions worth of coins so maybe someone he trusted in China screwed him over in a manner much worse than the way he screwed us over when we trsuted him. Karma and sweet justice does not always have to go through a court of law. If he is dead I hope he rests in peace but if he is alive I hope he cuts some sort of deal with the US attorney to return the coins (or what is left of them) in return for a lenient jail sentence.
About RPC, I don't believe that RPC will set the world alight. In a couple of years much of the world will not remember Ron Paul or be interested in him, many already do not know who he is. I will not be purchasing any RPC at least not for now but wish you all happy buying and profits.

And the reason for the angst on this board.
is that we are chasing ghosts and jumping at
shadows, trying to see if the inflictor of our
previous losses is here amongst us, incognito
Before any actions are undertaken to give
RPC new relevance we really must get to
the bottom of this burning question

We have to establish some trust to move
