bits of proof
Does the death of Cointerra impact Trezor in anyway? They own Bits of Proof
Bits of Proof is not owned by CoinTerra. CoinTerra had an option to buy, but it expired unused.

I don't understand why don't Satoshi Labs just run 2 or 3 instances of the web site. You could use the other one when the first one is down and also the spread load would mean less race conditions in the backend code. You don't even have to have a load balancer, just make it www1. www2. etc.

They don't want to and never intended on running even one. myTrezor only exists because by the time the Trezor was ready, no wallet software had integrated it yet.

Yeah, I know that. But looking at reddit and here, it seems to me that they may benefit from running more instances.

It is actually a good idea. It shouldn't be too expensive.

Same problem here! This happens more and more!

I'm loading wallets OK today, but sure had slow problems earlier in the week ... one evening I couldn't load at all.

Hoping this will sort itself out, or I'll be moving on, as we all deserve a regular working service.

Such a shitty reporter...

Richard Quest is coming at it from his "experience" of interviewing Jeffrey Robinson: http://money.cnn.com/video/technology/2014/10/29/jeffrey-robinson-bitcoin.cnnmoney/

Trezor mentioned on CNN report of Bitstamp hack:

Yep, wait until the last 30 seconds ... but it's a good validation all the same.

Also received a Trezor today ... much smaller a device than I imagined ... not that is a problem .. but god the display is small.

Does feel a bit weird trusting my BTC to this little device via a website.

Yeah, that's true!  Cheesy

But as one of the early trezor users I can assure you, that all of my BTC are still there!
I'm loving it!  Grin

Here soon I am looking at buying a Trezor, have you found any bugs or issues with it? Just wondering.

None that I know of. The software is improving rapidly. In the first release you couldn't sign messages with your trezor account but lately they have implemented that as well.
You can't assign names to addresses AFAIK, but that's already on the to-do list.

names on accounts would be more useful to me personally.

Been using this for a week or so ... but I'm having issues when I log into myTREZOR ... the account balance doesn't always like to load, so I can't get access to the trezor, or my balance. Took 30 mins of trying yesterday before getting access, and tonight it won't load the account. Using Firefox on a MacBook.

Anybody else got issues?

Some users experienced issues with the low quality USB cable supplied with the Trezor. If using another cable doesn't fix the issue, try using Electrum 2.0 (https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum) if you are on Linux.  On Macs, you can either use MacPorts or Homebrew to compile the latest Electrum 2.0.  I prefer MacPorts, but that is a personal choice (beware, it is either Homebrew or MacPorts, both may conflict with each other).

On my regular iMac and MacBook, I am using Safari with mytrezor.com without any issues - maybe Firefox has an issue with the plugin.

I am successfully using a Trezor with Electrum 2.0 Beta on Linux and on Windows 7.  It can be done if you have experience building and installing software on your OS or if you have sufficient patience and dedication.

Is it possible to import priv keys into Trezor?

I don't think so.

I cant get the plugin to work on a new server 2008r2 box. I got it running on my home 2008r2 box just fine but for some reason the latest plugin version, 1.0.5, does not work and i cant find the one i used on home server.

error log :
["error","Mon, 05 Jan 2015 08:49:26 GMT","[app] Loading http transport failed",{"cors":"rejected"}]
["log","Mon, 05 Jan 2015 08:49:27 GMT","[trezor] Loaded plugin 1.0.5"]

Device Manager :

I've tried reinstalling BitcoinTrezorPlugin-1.0.5 several times, no go.

I still cant get it to work on a windows 2008 server r2, well the latest plugin version obviously does not. Where can i download 1.0.3, i think that is what i installed on my home 2008 server?
