Alright, some roster changes in here. First, Nigma has already announced its main roster. While they're packed with superstars and oldies, I don't think that they'll make it that far but let's give a time for them because most of the haters said that it was Kuroky who's the weakest link of the team and now he's moved away from the roster, hopefully they will do good for this season.
Their new roster could be the second-best team in EMEA now that noob is on their team and Quest could be having a downgrade. We still don't know how good his transition would be from mid to offlane, but on paper, they should have a higher chance of qualifying in some of the upcoming tournaments.

Talon Esports took Kuku as their stand-in position 5.
He'll probably be their new position 5 since Talon already has some of the best core players and is dominating the recent SEA qualifier.

Aurora Esports have parted ways with Oli and 23savage. There is a rumor that 23savage will go to OG.

Yeah, he seems overpowered with all of those skills. But I think that he's still in the beta phase and there will be more development and balances that shall be done to make it fair to all. I'm excited to see how the pros are going to play him in the tournaments. For now, while waiting for the upcoming big majors, we've got the small ones and this is the phase where we can see some aspiring tier 2-3 teams and the reshuffle of the tier 1 teams is about to happen. Despite that RingMaster is being played as a support for now, I think the pro players will have to make something out of it or can do it as a mid or offlane hero, I don't know as long as it can work it won't be a dumb position to play for.

Yes, I am also waiting for him to appear on the pro scene. I really want to see what the pro players will come up with with him. He is interesting and versatile. And we all saw how the pros played the support Sniper (!), the country of Kerry and the like at the International. They have their own view, and we can only be surprised at their ingenuity. Well, the horizontal bar when they allow him to choose in professional matches will definitely be funny.
That's what meta is all about, the pro players are setting it and the pubs and most of the players are just following whatever they invent to have on the current meta. At the same time, there are pro players that are also discovering new strategies from the pubs that they think are brilliant to apply in the pro scene. I'm also excited how they're going to do but for the meantime, I love watching all of those ringmater pub games and how it's played mostly as a support.

I can attest that Ringmaster could be played as a mid laner but of course it would really be taking up some such risks when it comes to late game. If you are an effective Mid laner with RM then early to mid
game would really be something that could be effective considering its skills is really that effective when it comes to ganking neither bottom or on top lane. As for the new hero then of course it will really be something that gives out that kind of excitement on which this one might be carry or an offlane. Just like on what we have seen on RM on which we didnt expect that it was really that a support
hero but actually it could really be that be put up on neither pos4 or 5 or even on mid but of course the effectiveness will really be depending on how well you do make use of such hero.
I agree, it's a good early game hero for midlane but then when it's already late game, there's a lesser effectivity of it. But who I am to say that when I haven't seen it yet in the pro scene for which everything is possible and can make impossible things happen? That's why I think it's a good support(4/5) unless topson or anyone who's actually a good midlaner will create a meta about it then for sure many will have to follow that path.

Then again, it's Valve, and TI13 has already concluded. All we can remember from this is Quinn malding because of that stupid phase shift ending 1.3 seconds before it should be and getting rekt by 2 heroes when he could have escaped with orb and rift available.
And that was a die back for him. Poor Quinn, probably he's tensed by that time. I know pros have that moments too. Anyway, everyone don't forget about the teaser that Valve has released about the new upcoming hero, Kez. So after the ringmaster's released, there's now kez that will be added soon, no definite time when. But the exciting part here is that the ring master might be added to captains mode any moment from now on since TI13 is done.

We waited so long for Ring Master, and even though he turned out to be a good, bright hero with his own charisma, it feels like everyone was a little disappointed with him. The thing is, when they showed him in the teaser video, he seemed creepy and it seemed like they were hinting that he would be able to control enemy heroes. Of course, this sounds very overpowered, but you can always come up with some interesting mechanism. In the end, we got a good support, but the WOW effect did not happen.

The script was strong for Liquid this time , can't deny that! It was about time for Liquid to win a trophy in this format and it was about time for Nisha to get his crown of TI champion because this kid is truly the best mid of Dota 2 for some years now.
I followed this kid on his first appearance with his co-fellow Poland teammates with Team Singularity they later acquired by Team Kinguin.

I remember more his one teammate with the name exotic deer. LOL but when he's taken by Team Secret that's when his career shined more.

That I didn't liked at all in the TI finals was the fact that Quinn basically lost game 2 because of a bug with Puck where he basically cannot teleport to his orb because he pressed CTRL on his keyboard that canceled all Puck interaction. It's a well known bug for quite some months already and it seems Valve doesn't even care about Dota 2 anymore and we saw this in the TI prize pool and we also saw this of how in the viewers on twitch where we barely touched 400k+ viewers.
I thought that it was fixed long time ago and about the viewers,  I think it's because that there have been a lot of players, retired and streamers that have streamed these games.

So, I can imagine all of those views where spread in all of those streamers at the same time.

Nobody really liked how this year's TI was handled right from the livefeed of the matches (think @boltz was the one who brought up their server issues handling this throughout the tournament or last) all the way to the prize pool amounts being lowered drastically from the very start of this tournament!

My only concern would be that we didnt get Wildcard stage this year. Some team could have made it to TI through

Well this is not Valve's mistake but starting from lower bracket round 3, almost all games ended up with 2-0 so thats kinda lame for my taste. I want an intense game which takes up to the 3rd map. Even the grand final ended up with straight 3-0 for Team Liquid, thats pretty lame from GG actually

There were several video's recently I had seen asking the question: Is eSports (specifically DOTA2 professional competitions) dead? on youtube.
I believe it is to blame the way Valve are handling this game's progress or lack there of on the Esports scene.

Based on the prizepool, yeah its dying and if the TI prizepool goes down then all the other upcoming tournament might also follow the pattern. Lower prizepool = lower number of pro players regeneration. I doubt most of the young folks would even want to compete in dota2 anymore, the only reason that we have had high number or regeneration was because of the prizepool that we had

To change the subject since The Internationals are done for another year, and it begs to differ if they will even have one next season or not (do a search and watch those videos, there are too many to mention up on here), Wink

Imagine if we get less than $2M for next year TI Smiley that would be heartbreaking

Alas, I thought that holding CTRL during phase shift is no longer allowed given my years of absence in playing Dota 2. I cannot seem to teleport to my orb during phase shift when holding CTRL, and I have to walk a small distance before it works. It's interesting that that small interaction caused Quinn to die a couple of times in game 2, with this example being the most criminal one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M0JRhRyw5I

IMO they should contest this bug because it's not similar to the Pudge hook bug. No one know that it's supposed to work, much less know that it shouldn't given that Pudge + dagger is a thing before as well. This bug makes the hero literally unplayable in a game where a missed spell means death, which causes the game eventually.

Then again, it's Valve, and TI13 has already concluded. All we can remember from this is Quinn malding because of that stupid phase shift ending 1.3 seconds before it should be and getting rekt by 2 heroes when he could have escaped with orb and rift available.

Well, TI13 has passed, in fact, the talents of the heroes that were introduced recently changed the game, but I just don’t know half of all the talents, because there are too many of them and you need to play for each hero to understand them completely. So, I still find it interesting to play with friends for fun, but not in pursuit of rating. So, in my opinion, the final is below average, although there were a couple of interesting moments. The final of TI13 cannot be compared with the previous exciting finals that blow your mind, for example, with the one where LGD was in the final, against OG or TS. These finals and comebacks are the best thing I have ever seen. Nevertheless, I am glad that TI has been going on for so many years, after all, for me it is a Dota holiday.

Regarding bets, there was a great moment when GG played against Liquid (before grand final) in the upper bracket and there was an excellent odds for Liquid to win, bookmakers considered them underdogs, which now looks funny)

GG, VP, see you at the next TI, guys!

Yes, it was a weak final, and the whole tournament. We were only shown some stupid intro with a new bird hero. Gabe no longer knows the players by nicknames (even though he once did), and he is not going to show himself in person. All the games were one-sided and there were no comebacks at all. Is the meta broken? Definitely yes. And I agree with you that Talents overload the game.
Looking forward to next better TI...
GG, WP.
Literally if we do really tried out to compared into those previous TI when it was still that great on which you could see the hype, crown impact and the quality of games, then you could really be able to tell that as we do go further ahead. The recent TI's arent the same it was before. Dont know on whats the reason on why they had stopped on making skins or immortals
on which it do make the prize pool got more bigger on which means that it would really be much more competitive but we are actually seeing the opposite now.
Riyahd masters is that much better compared in to this years TI which i could say its shit.  Grin

100% agree, if you do look at on the previous The international this this recent one is really that not good or something can we called boring. Prize pools is too small, same thing rivalry in between Liquid and GG
which we have seen it on the Majors most of the time. You could really be actually be able to say that it is really that indeed boring. Whats actually the main reason? We dont know but i do agree on what PURE have said about this one. I cant provide the link but it was indeed true on what he had said. Gaben isnt that putting that much attention now? It should really be bringing it back.

As for this year TI champs then i would say that Liquid deserves it, you could actually see on how well they do execute out their plays. Knows on how to counter pick and do really
strict when it comes on following objectives on each game. I thought we would be seeing some reverse sweep but well they are really just that too good and we
cant be able to deny that.

Oh I wouldn't have known that Gaimin Gladiators are playing right now.
So many thanks for this post as an update who will face Liquid in the grand finals in TI today.
And Team Liquid won with a clean sweep against Gaimin Gladiators. With all of the history that these two teams have got about GG always dominate them at the grand finals, now is a different scenario and story to tell.

Is anyone here watching right now the Gaimin' Gladiators versus Tundra?
It's already game 3 in the lower bracket before the grand finals. 1-1 standing, the loser gets eliminated, and the winner will face Team Liquid in the championship.

I'm going with GG this time, Alchemist late game + Queen Of Pain.
I've watched the game 3. It's actually a good one, I thought that Tundra will there but there's a lot of twists that happened. That seleri's enchantress was dope to be honest and Tundra wasn't noticing the javelin throws that were thrown to them hurts them most every clash that happened.

Been watching alot of CS2 as of late with Imperial Esports getting a massive win over MOUZ on Sept.11th.
They were 5.30x odds to win and they blanked them in the ESL Pro League.
That was amazing to witness especially against a formidable team of MOUZ who had been just killing their opponents lately.
Remember Imperial Esports is a Sportsbet.io sponsored team in CounterStrike.
So of course this is a great accomplishment in this tournament certainly.
