I am looking for some details if there is dota 2 in the Perfect World Shanghai Majors since it always comes with dota 2. But it looks this time, it's only for CS2?

The last Shanghai Major organized by Perfect World was in 2016 so its been a while. Aside from that, Perfect World used to organized DPC for CN region but with DPC gone I guess they move out to cs2

So tomorrow we are getting straight to the grand final huh? BetBoom vs Falcons. Parivision get the top spot on Group B but there is no way that they are better than Betboom on Playoffs. Totally scream over 2.5 maps on this though, classic over 2.5 maps when two favourites play against each other especially on upper bracket
I see, and that's why I am trying to look for it on the books but it's not found and only CS2. And our boi, yatoro is present in Shanghai to support Team Spirit CS2. My bet for Team Falcons lost and BetBoom moves forward together with Parivision.

It does sound like a DOTA2 type tournament and as @arallmuus had mentioned above it seems to have transferred it's title over to CS2 instead for this year.

Just watch both the beginning matches for both the Bangkok and Shanghai tournaments for dota2&cs2 and had a very successful time in betting for both of them on a mighty esports acca!
All my bets have cashed in and now have enough to continue on this run for the rest of the these tournaments.

Falcons seem to have fallen today and Team Liquid had fallen in their match against Team Spirit in Perfect World.
Yeah, I've lost my bet with Team Falcons and I thought that they've always been consistent reaching to the grand finals through the upper bracket. But let's see if they'll make it on the bottom.
Team Falcons seemed to be the biggest disappoint this tournament and for every match that I had watched they had lost.
Just watching the G2 vs FaZe match to see who Spirit will face in the finals on Sunday for this tournament in Shanghai. Currently FaZe has a 5-0 lead against them.

I should have known that Team Liquid would win 2-0 against SR, should have taken that as my bet as well but oh well I put bigger stake than usual on Team Spirit -1.5 so thats enough for today. Honestly I was expecting to watch Kuro to stand-in again to ruin the gameplay though  Tongue
Team Liquid at LAN tends to show up when they have to, they also stepped up in the previous season's ESL One tournaments and I think they're on their way to secure at least third place if they can play at the same level as yesterday.

They were outdrafted by BetBoom there and with their match in the lower bracket against the Team Liquid. Many have cheered for Team Liquid instead of them. They went home already ending this tournament of ESL Bangkok at 5th-6th place with $57,500 prize money. Team Spirit is likely to proceed to the next stage in the lower bracket against Avulus. But let's see if Avulus will make some twist on their matches since they're also a good team that I have watched for so many games.
Their series against Team Liquid was so good, they gave Team Liquid a hard time with their beefy cores, but they started to fell off once the game went into the later stages and couldn't keep up with Micke's Morphling.

I'm also leaning on Team Spirit and for some reason it feels like Avulus is set up to disappoint even though they had a good run in the group stage.

It felt like Team Falcons were overthinking with their drafts recently, going with the Earthshaker carry in the second map and then in the final map the Monkey King pick in the second phase gave BetBoom the edge in the mid match up.

Im not sure about you guys tomorrow but Im putting my money on Team Spirit and I hope Miracle would still be sick so Kuro would have to stand-in for him  Roll Eyes
With the odds currently at 2.10~ it's always worth the shot assuming they could quickly plummet once we see Kuro standing in again.

Miracle played but I was worried for nothing. Turned out that Team Spirit was way superior compared to Nigma. Feels so bad to see Team Secret doing so bad in Dota 2 pro scene. Since Nisha left them , nothing good happened to this org and I'm afraid Puppey doesn't current understand how Dota 2 actually works right now and I think this is the main factor of why this team doesn't perform great at all. Also , worth to mention that they changed their team 3 times since Nisha left and nothing worked.

I'm starting to think that it's the same situation with Kuro and Nigma and we can see now that Nigma is doing A LOT better right now and they actually qualify for most of the Tier 1 tournaments. Maybe , same needs to happen with Secret and Puppey...

Yep it was the same situation all over again but Nigma isnt any better as well. The main reason why Nigma qualified to Tier 1 tournament was because they are from MESWA region and the only top teams on MESWA is Falcons so basically Nigma should be able to qualifiy all qualifiers because Falcons should be getting direct invitation

Placed a bet on ESL Bangkok for their dota2 tournament and European Pro League season 21 for CounterStrike.
From what I remembered which was posted on this thread, I chose those matches towards my betslip for yesterday's matches and they all cashed in a nice Esports acca.

Had Team Falcons first which were 1.45x then Team Spirit for map 1 which I think they ended up in a draw.
Took Navi Junior from what @passwordnow posted at the very top of this Esports thread as they just won their tournament 3-0 so took them to beat Apogee which they did quite easily.

So cashed in a nice 2.37x parlay for today.
That's nice, congratulations with that 2.37x parlay. I'm flattered that you even mentioned me and also took the same bet as mine because I'm mostly just betting based on what I think and feel together with the odds but sometimes I think they also work just as how they have ended up.  Tongue

Now just waiting for the Perfect World Shanghai Majors to start up tomorrow.

Yey! ESL One Bangkok 2024 is about to start within the next hours. I'm still thinking which matches I am going to bet for later. Best of 2 is what I've said one of the moments that I get most of the losses but it's also a challenge for me to get some which I enjoy. For the first day of matches, these are what we've got for both group A and B.
Same, it's not a bet friendly format because of the three way market, but at least we're getting nice odds on most of the series.

I'm sticking with the top teams (Team Falcons, Team Liquid, etc) that has an easier matchup assuming they don't drop these unnecessary maps. I still don't have the confidence to back the mediocre teams unless they could put up decent results and steal maps from good teams.
We're never wrong with Team Falcons, they're always at the best every time the tournament has started and beats the most out with 2-0. They're like the Gaimin Gladiators of this era and season.

Currently the standings arent really unexpected, however pleasantly surprised with how Nigma played against bet boom. Good idea to look at them at plus odds tomorrow  Grin
Nigma looks good, they've got some wins on these best of 2 series but I don't think that they'll ever get far even if they will qualify for the playoffs.

Tried to bet on two games earlier today, got it right on Nigma draw but lost on BB. Should have know that most of the time that bo2 games end with a draw. Actually this was a mistake though to parlay these both as I intend to make a separate bet on these two but turned out that it was parlay instead, could have break even if this was a single bet
I also got burned by BetBoom in their second series and thought it would be another casual draw, but Team Liquid got mowed down in every lane and was constantly pressured by BetBoom.

Shanghai Majors are heating up with the two elimination matches ending with Faze beating Furia and Heroic ending Navi.

The Major continues on the 12th with tournament MongolZ going against MOUZ who will test them since they won the last major tournament just last month.
Next match is between Spirit and Liquid which should be a good one and expect them to go the over 2.5 maps.
The Faze series was a banger, I almost thought FURIA would send Faze home then it suddenly took a quick 180 in the second map causing FURIA to lose momentum and the decider map.

Navi losing to Heroic was probably the biggest surprise we had in this major, their overall performance throughout the elimination stage isn't on the same level compared to the previous tournaments they've been in.

Round 3 of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: Elimination Stage
It's so weird to see MIBR in the 2-0 bracket after completing two shocking upsets on both 3dmax and NaVi, it'd be one hell of a run if they somehow end it with an upset against Vitality later today.

Instead of backing a team today, i'm changing it up with the total rounds on the Team Liquid vs. Furia match. Both teams had close games yesterday so a 13-9 scoreline should be easy if they don't make a mistake with the map bans.
